Getting to stay over at Auntie K'le's place was fun, but after she finally got over being sick, Yue very quickly got bored.
All her mother wanted to do was stare at books and write little notes and talk with Dr. Var, who Yue was beginning to suspect wasn't a real doctor because not once had she asked Yue about her health.
Somewhere in the back of her mind she knew that her mother was also a Doctor, but her mother was like a doctor for spirit stuff. Dr. Var just seemed like a doctor for old book stuff. Did books need to be worried about for their health?
"Careful with that! It's a hundred and eighty years old," Dr. Var warned as Amri turned a page in a book that was the color of old mushy potatoes.
"I know how to handle old books, Doctor. If you're going to ask for my help with the runes then let me help," Amri shot back.
