“Wrong”

The crowd all ran away, yelling in fear to the monster's arrival. Morell and Reece began walking towards the threat, readying to fight, though they were stopped by Saturn and Bennett.

"Stop. You two need to save your energy and get into that castle, we can deal with them."

Saturn stepped forth first, unsheathing his sword as he got into fighting stance. Bennett took his bow out, as well as multiple arrows from his satchel, nocling all the arrows at once, as he took aim.

"I'll give you two a chance to ran past that freak, in 3.. 2.."

Bennett fired all the arrows towards the monster, as it blocked them with it's arms in response, Morell and Reece using this time to run forth at full speeds, Saturn running forth ahead of them to slice at the monster's leg, letting it down on one knee.

With the monster occupied, the two ran to the castle's enterance, Reece ejecting her monstroud mass to her arm, forming a large axe of flesh, as she chopped through the gate.

They were met with a large room, a huge bell hung from the center of the cieling, and a staircase forth, a hallway at each side of the room.

"This is it.. victory just up those stairs.."

Morell looked up, slpwly walking forth as her hand lowered to her hip, unholstering her knife. Reece walked behind her, looking around at the castle's interior, it all felt so lifeless..

The two walked up the staircase, slowly pushing open the large door at the top, as through the door sat the throne room.

In the large throne sat a frail person, a crown on there head, as they looked down to their feet, their face hidden.

"So.. that's Uvie..? Are the asleep..?"

Morell walked up to the crown, poking her knife against the crown, though no reaction was shown. Morell raised an eyebrow, slowly reaching down to their chin, grasping it as she lifting their face up, a bit shocked from the sight.

What sat there was a mere corpse, as a chain suddenly shot out from their mouth, wrapping around Morell's neck. A trap door opened within the throne, the chain pulling Morell in as she drastically attempted to tear the chains off.

"Eh..- Wait..!!!"

Reece pounced forth, attempting to save Morell, though her grasp missed by just an inch, the trap door closing. Her eyes widened as she punched down upon the throne, in attempt to break it with no success, her knuckles bleeding from the impact.

"The hell..!? Why can't I break it..!?"

She threw down one more punch, though an impact was never made, causing Reece to trip down.

"What the..-?"

She looked back up, the throne had disappeared, as the furniture, the walls, thr whole castle faded away, all that remained being flat plain of grass.

The monster, as well as the others looked to the castle in surprise, as the castle had disappeared in thin air. Reece sat there, attempting to dig into the ground with her hands.

"Morell! The fuck..- we just got you back, this isn't fair..!"

Saturn and Bennett approached Reece, the mosnter seemingly stopping it's rampage, as the two leaned down beside Reece.

"The hell happened..? The castle's gone.. where's Morell..?"

Deep underneath the city laid a dungeon, once a railroad far back then, but now it's thoroughly secured with bricks, and scattered with prison cells.

Morell came falling down, banging on the chain that pulled her down, as she fell into a pile of hay, helping in breaking the fall's impact.

Morell slowly stood up, in a damp hallway, the floors and cielings all made of tough brick, as rows of cells formed upon the walls.

"Is this.. a prison..?"

Morell began walking forth, looking into the cells, all filled with rotted corpses, possibly here for centuries, the walls having symbols and words carved into them, it left an eerie feeling of the history within these cells.

Morell came to a sudden startle, a starved, decaying man pouncing at the cell bars, staring at Morell as he sobbed. She looked back with a frown, approaching his cell, as she rammed into the cell's door, which came down with ease due to how old this place was.

She stepped back, the man's face in relief, the widest smile imaginable, freedom in front of him as he slowly crawled out of the cell, painfully laughing as Morell assisted him in standing up.

"I thank you, kind one.."

The man's voice was weak, to a mere whisper, as if no moisture was inside him to speak clearly, as he stared down to the end of the hallway, slowly walking forth. Morell watching with a smile.

Crack…

Upon his first few steps, the man fell forth, his face slammed into the floor with a small stain of his blood upon it. The man met his freedom, but he was too far gone to be saved. In a way, the man was free, free from life.

Morell looked down, her smile faded into a frown as her eyes went empty. She held her hand out slowly, pricking her finger as a drip of black liquid dropped down, forming into a withered rose which fluttered to the man's side, Morell walking past him.

"There's always a darker world, hm.."

She made her way to the end of the hallway, peaking through the door's window, the silhouettes of a man and a child seen behind a curtain.

A sudden scream was heard, as her eyes widened, quickly swinging the door open and rushing forth, going past the curtain as she grabbed the man by their shirt.

The man was but a mere mannequin, lifeless as she dropped it on the floor, looking down to see a child, hidden under the blanket upon a bed.

She reached down, removing the sheet, quickly dropping it to cover her mouth at the sight.

"What in the world…"

The child was thinned to the bone, their skin a horrid shade of grey, as their head was shaved to make space for the carvings within them.

Morell felt sick, wanting to puke as she stared down at the deformity. The child, assumed dead, suddenly had a twitch at the center of their chest, Morell's mouth going agape as the child's heart could be seen beating, the poor thing still alive.

Morell quickly rushed out from the curtains, breathing heavy to the abysmal sight. The room was dark, the only source of light being the candle upon an oddly placed endtable.

"I want to leave.."

She pixked up the candle, holding it forth, only to see many children in the same state scattered upon the ground, slowly crawling towards her.

"I want to leave.. I want to leave..!"

She wanted to scream, covering her mouth with her hand as she dropped the candle, sprinting off through the halls, eventually tripping as she fell through a door.

She quickly got back up, in fear of what may reside around her, her hands shaking. She looked around, stepping backwards before bumping into an object.

"Hm..-"

She quickly turned around, a doll stood behind her, hung up to a crucifix. She looked closely to the doll, her hand raising to gently caress it's face.

"It resembles.. me…"

Her gentle caresssing became a grip on the doll's face, this grip tightening until she broke into the head, examining the insides.

"It's hollow.. dead…"

She sighed, walking back to examine the whole thing, the cross made of a rotting wood, the nails severed through the doll's hands of pure rust, as many pipes were entering the doll's limbs, Morell stepping back as she looked up, these pipes leading to decaying humans, their black blood being sucked out from them.

"Am I.. is this how I was made..?"

Her eyes twitched as she began increasing speed, stepping back into another presence as she comes to a stop.

"It seems you've found it all out."
