Monster beast mountain range

Seeing no response from Su Yunchen and the two of them, Su Yunlie's eyes flashed a dangerous glint as he looked at Su Han and said through gritted teeth: "You can run off if you want, but I'm giving you three years' worth of resources. Anything more, you'll have to take for yourself!"

"Yes," Su Han replied confidently.

"Han'er, this is what we're discussing," Su Yunming continued. "Tomorrow, my guards are heading into the Monster Mountain Range to test their strength. You should come along with them to temper your power."

"Alright," Su Han replied.

"No!" Su Yunchen exclaimed in protest. "Su Han is nowhere near strong enough to join my guard in the Monster Mountain! He'll just drag them down

Su Yunming's sneer was brimmed with contempt. "Are you afraid that Han'er will get what the guards get?" he mockingly challenged. The Su family guards ventured to the Monster Beast Mountain Range every other month, rewarded for their efforts in spiritual objects, of which Su Han partook heavily in. Such a rule of Su families youngest children being invited along on these trips had clearly created a rift between father and son - as Su Han reaped far more bounty than his peers, leaving them indignant and resentful.

"It's not impossible for Su Han to go, then Mingxuan and Minghui will also follow," argued Su Yunpeng as he stood from his seat. "They have never gone to the Monster Mountain Range with the guards to practice."

"Are you sure they are strong enough?" posed Su Yunlie, though unknowingly incurring the wrath of Su Yunming who coldly retorted, "Of course". His eyes flared with disdainful accusation and bitter rivalry, wishing that maybe Su Han would instead perish in the Monster Beast Mountain Range.

What a joke, with the Su family's guards around? What if they weren't strong enough? Su Yunlie said that Mingxuan and Minghui had to go with them regardless.

The next morning, an imposing entourage of dozens of people assembled at the gates of Su's mansion. At their head was Su Han, alongside his son and daughter, Mingxuan and Minghui. Pang Qing, the captain of the guard led the group forward with strength of late dragon blood realm. Flanking him on either side were two deputy captains, Zhang Hai and Hu Feng who commanded strength in the middle stage of Dragon Blood Realm. The other guards all descended from the Su family and boasted strength in the early stages of Dragon Blood Realm.

After reaching the Dragon Vein Realm, came the Dragon Blood Realm where strength depended on how many dragon veins one had opened. The more dragon veins opened equalled richer dragon blood energy and stronger dragon energy overall.

"Everyone is here- let's go." The group marched off into the horizon.

The power in the air around Pang Qing seemed to thicken as he rode a Tier 2 unicorn, with strength matching that of an ordinary human in the Dragon Blood Realm. He had forced it to submission with nothing more than his own might.

The legend says that first cultivator of the Dragon Continent was able to divide realms by studying the blood of dragons and even managed to subdue one such creature, becoming a legendary Dragon Knight capable of obliterating the entirety of Longwu continent with only a single wave of their hand.

But for those living in modern times, such a powerful being is nothing more than a mere myth.

Nevertheless, Su Mingxuan still barked orders at him, "Su Han, don't die here in the Monster Beast Mountain Range." Her companion Su Minghui added sarcastically, "You're our family's genius--if you die here, then you'll be disgracing us all." Undaunted by their words, Su Han simply replied coolly, "You two must have eaten something foul this morning. Your breath sure is nasty!" Guards by their side snickered quietly at the reply, amazed at not only his cultivation prowess but also his sharp wit.

At last after several hours they arrived at the Monster Beast Mountain Range and Su Mingxuan warned him one final time, "Don't try being stubborn now. If you find yourself in danger we won't be able to save you since you chose to come here yourself."

"Not in the right mind," came Su Han's simple reply

....

After trudging along for hours, gradually, everyone spotted the massive Monster Beast Mountain Range looming ahead. Fear and dread filled the air as they prepared for whatever might be lurking inside.

The Monster Beast Mountain Range towered menacingly over the Tanglin Kingdom, an impenetrable wall of monstrosities. Legends spoke of a giant dragon corpse that formed its boundaries, but few dared to believe it.

"This is the edge of the Monster Beast Mountain Range," Pang Qing warned Su Han and his companions. "There are countless ferocious creatures within these mountains, and even with our combined strength, we can only search for spiritual objects at the outskirts." The trio nodded solemnly in agreement.

"Let's make preparations and enter soon," Pang Qing commanded as they began their ascent.

As they ventured further into the twisted trees blocking any sunlight from entering, an air of dread filled the air as twinkling green eyes appeared from behind every bush.

"Civet cats," Pang Qing assured them, "just ordinary beasts."

All of a sudden, one of the guards spotted something - a Spirit Mist Grass!

"We've found it!" Hu Feng exclaimed with joy. "Our luck this time isn't bad."

"Be vigilant," Pang Qing reminded them sternly, "spiritual objects are usually guarded by monsters. This Spirit Mist Grass is just low-level; spiritual objects of intermediate level or higher are guarded by first-level monsters and those of high level require second-level monsters."

The guards ventured deeper with growing anticipation, discovering more spiritual creatures along the way. But amidst their excitement was caution - danger lurked around every corner ready to tear through anyone foolish enough to let their guard down.

Su Han clenched his fist, feeling the hard texture of the three spiritual objects in his hands. According to family tradition, these were rightfully his, but he knew that the rest would be distributed among Su Mingxuan and Su Minghui. His spirit felt heavy with disappointment--three Spirit Mist Grass was nowhere near enough for him to make use of.

Suddenly, Pang Qing spoke up, warning they were entering an area of intermediate spirits where monsters would appear. No sooner had his words left his mouth than a ferocious roar pierced the stillness of the air. Deadly bushes rustled and shook before them as a massive black figure emerged from within.

"Fanged porcupine!" Pang Qing cried out in excitement, believing their dinner had arrived. Hu Feng chuckled, taking off in a sprint towards the beast as he materialized a long spear in his hand. This was their chance--the tusk porcupine was more than enough sustenance for all of them! As soon as Hu Feng reached five meters away from the porcupine, he hurled his spear with lethal accuracy.
