AMETHYST

Eons into the modern setting, where Great Legends became simple myths and a war so destructive that involved the whole world simply faded into the ashes of ancient history. It seemed all that have occurred then would be lost. Until a reenactment threatened to put the world into the same scene yet again. Only this time, among the Great Legends - The Abhorred Dark Lord - would be the only recurring relic of the past to intervene yet again. Would the world be led to a brighter future if the Dark Lord chose to assist, or bring a much darker future that awaits everyone.

"It sickens me… that you choose to side with our enemies."

Despite being hesitant to fight against a former companion - a friend - the Heroes Companion was prepared to eliminate the threat that was posed against the World.

But the traitorous man was unfazed by the words that were spoken of hurt and betrayal based on the consequences of his action. Instead, the man in the dark cloak simply stood unreactive until he looked from the dirt ground and met the eyes of each companion of the hero - each once a dear friend to him and spoke;

"Do what you must. I will do what's mine."

With a voice so devoid of emotion and life, it made them flinch at how disconnected and drained he sounded and looked. It even almost made them wish to forfeit the engagement against their olden companion. But if they did, thousands within the kingdom's wall would be slaughtered.

Yet no matter how much each has tried to reason and plea, taunted and insulted the traitor, every single companion has failed to reach him. Until it was Keel's turn who reacted to the betrayal with hurt and fury.

"Our enemy! My enemy! Your enemy - Her enemy!"

At the mention of her, his darkened eyes that were fueled by wrath turned soft in a brief moment as eyes widened as memories served to recall the moments; all before the light in his eyes disappeared and darkness returned to cloud them with wrath.

Hearing no response or a movement to suggest so, Keel exploded at how the traitor held little value to core memories, beliefs, and goals they all once hoped to achieve. Devastated and angry, Keel led the fight to him with pained eyes as he charged to cross weapons against a former well-respected friend.
