Title: "Uneasy Allies: Vell and Rika's Journey Begins"

Bab 2: The First Encounter

Vell arrived at the east gate early in the morning, as promised. He was surprised to see a young girl, who looked to be only 12 years old, waiting for him. This was Rika, the girl he was supposed to deliver to the kingdom of the sacred.

Vell approached her and introduced himself. "Hi, I'm Vell. I'll be your escort to the kingdom of the sacred."

Rika didn't seem too pleased with the idea. "I don't need an escort. I can find my way there on my own," she said in a cold tone.

Vell was taken aback by her attitude, but he knew he had a job to do. "Sorry, but that's not possible. I've been hired to ensure your safety."

Rika rolled her eyes and turned away from him. "Fine, let's just get going," she said, clearly not wanting to waste any more time.

As they started their journey, Vell noticed that Rika seemed distant and uninterested in talking. He decided to try to engage her in conversation. "So, why does the kingdom of the sacred want you?" he asked.

Rika shrugged. "I have no idea. They just showed up one day and said I had to go with them."

Vell was suspicious. "Do you have any special powers or abilities?" he pressed.

Rika's eyes narrowed. "Why do you care?"

Vell sighed. "I'm just trying to figure out why they want you so badly."

Rika's face softened, but only slightly. "I have the ability to give someone any power they desire," she said in a quiet voice.

Vell's eyes widened. "Really? That's amazing!"

Rika looked at him with disdain. "Why are you so surprised? You didn't even believe me when I said I could find my way to the kingdom on my own."

Vell chuckled. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. It's just not every day that you meet someone with a power like that."

Rika didn't respond, but Vell could tell that she was still upset. They continued their journey in silence for a while, until Vell finally spoke up again. "Hey, I know I've been asking a lot of questions, but would you like me to make us something to eat? I promise it'll be good."

Rika's expression softened just a little. "Okay," she said hesitantly.

Vell set up a small campfire and started cooking. As they ate, Vell tried to make small talk, but Rika still seemed distant. He decided to try a different approach. "So, what do you like to do for fun?" he asked.

Rika shrugged. "I don't really have time for fun. I've been training my powers since I was young."

Vell nodded. "That's impressive. What do you want to do with your powers?"

Rika looked up at him, her eyes filled with determination. "I want to use my powers for good. To help people who need it."

Vell smiled. "That's a noble goal. I'm sure you'll be able to make a difference in the world."

Rika looked down, her expression softening. "I hope so."

From that moment on, their relationship started to change. Rika began to open up to Vell, and he learned more about her and her powers. Despite their rocky start, they grew to be close
