"Pwahg!"
The high commander pukes out blood as Lyrica drives her fist further in his broken armor. At the same time she broke the long sword with just her right hand, the girl sends the high commander crashing to the surface.
"What's wrong?" She asked while looking down at Gilberto with a terrifying gaze. "After all that talk about my experience in close combat and my elemental magic, you're just gonna lie down there like some helpless rat?"
Lyrica approaches the high commander, prompting him to stand up and throw another punch at her. However, Lyrica took that hit in the face as if it was nothing, albeit it created another wound in which blood started channeling down her face to her chin. Right after that, the girl effortlessly catches his second punch before twisting his arm so bad that all he could do was scream in agony.
"With the way you are now, I won't need any experience in combat to get rid of you."
"Arrrgh...!"
Lyrica proceeds to throw a sidekick right in the high commander's face, sending him rolling to the ground. He tries to stand up, only for Lyrica to punch him in the face, a tooth came out of his blood-filled mouth.
"Damn y--"
Before he could even finish his sentence, Lyrica lands another three hard punches towards his defenseless face.
"Hey hey, where's that full strength you're speaking of, you piece of trash!"
'Impossible... That red light, could that be Lakas?! But an elemental magic user shouldn't be able to manifest a body enhancement magic!'
Gilberto never felt more helpless with Lyrica pummeling him and the remains of his armor left and right with her fists.
'It's so heavy... She's too strong...!'
"Come on! Try and fight back if you can, you insect!"
Seeing the high commander who uses his position and strength to terrorize the soldiers and the people of Takkot in such a helpless state is something they've never seen before. But what surprised them more than anything is how Lyrica who seemed calm and reserved just moments ago is now mocking the high commander rather aggressively. It scares them like how they also feared the high commander until this all happened.
Sometime later, Gilberto loses strength with his legs and finally falls onto his knees.
"Hey, what's with you?" She asked as she edges closer to him. "Are you already on your limit?"
The girl proceeds to grab the high commander's hair with a strong grasp, making Gilberto groan in anguish. She then lifts him where she can look straight at his face.
"You look so pathetic..." She said as she let go of the high commander before following it with an uppercut that sent Gilberto into the air. "... But I'm not done yet."
With little to no strength left, Gilberto could no longer stand up. She goes over to the powerless high commander, aiming to finally finish him off for good. But then...
"Stop!"
Thud...
"What?"
The kutsero spoke out of the blue, attracting Lyrica's attention away from the high commander who immediately sees the girl defenseless.
"That's enough, he can't move anymore."
"Then what, do I just leave him here and let you people be forced to follow his command, get him to the capital and get himself treated, and then come back to kill all of you and the people from Takkot?" She replied as she look straight to the kutsero, leaving him unable to say a word. "He knows that I know something is forcing you, people, from obeying him and the Hari's orders. I was never meant to go to the capital alive, he's planning to kill me from the beginning and bring my head to whoever that Uruk is."
As the girl continues to speak, the high commander's hand slowly reaches out to his broken long sword.
"I know he's not the big boss, but to let him get out of here alive is something that should never happen."
After hearing her speech, the kutsero and the others soon noticed the high commander who's about to throw the broken long sword at the girl.
They all wanted to scream at Lyrica and tell her about Gilberto, but something is keeping them from saying a word to the girl.
"How troublesome."
Gilberto throws the broken long sword towards the back of Lyrica's head, only for the girl to catch it just in time with her left hand.
"Wha...!"
"It's not like I'm an unforgiving person," Lyrica said as she throws the sword away, Gilberto's fear clouded his face and his ego as the girl approaches her. "But there are some people in this world who don't deserve forgiveness. That's just how it is. After all, like the endless number of troubles in our lives, those kinds of people are also a part of reality."
Soon after standing right next to the incapacitated high commander, Lyrica points the palm of her hand right onto Gilberto's face. Seconds later, a small ball of fire emerged from her hand, until it grows larger than her limb.
"What Gilberto just did is proof that he's one of THEM." She uttered towards the soldiers and the kutsero before shifting her gaze back at the high commander. "Do you agree, high commander?"
Gilberto remained silent, and while he does, the high commander slowly reach out to a small knife hidden inside his lower armor. Without hesitation, nor fear, he threw the knife and struck Lyrica in her right shoulder. Seeing what just happened surprised the soldiers and the kutsero, albeit the girl just stood there as if it was nothing. If anything she seems to be a bit more disappointed with what Gilberto did. And just then...
"Haha... Hahaha... HAHAHA!"
The high commander suddenly burst out into maniacal laughter.
"You said you wanted to live in peace and without trouble? What a load of crap!" He added as he let out an evil chuckle. "The world will soon plunge into chaos, and killing me is not gonna do sh*t about it."
Gilberto proceeded to laugh once more.
"You said it yourself, there are people who don't deserve forgiveness. Yes, we exist." The high commander stated as the girl pulls out the knife from her shoulder. "You can never get rid of us, you will never overcome all your troubles. Because that's how reality works!"
From hysterical giggling to then slowly turning into an insane cackle, the knights and the kutsero observe the high commander laughing himself to death as Lyrica's flames engulfed his body.
"You're irredeemable."
The flames eventually dispersed, revealing the corpse that's as dark as his armor that melted from the heat.
