Anisstiki has always been a good friend and decided to let it go, instead, she cheered her friend to even smile.
Giving her friend a one last look, she remembered why she was there in the first place.
"We should go, the Luna asked to see everybody, she'll be coming all the way to omega quartz as by herself, she …."
She had a serious face when she said it so that it scared Eldora.
Eldora flinched at the statement she heard,
"What would Luna be coming here to do?" she asked almost Immediately not even letting Ansiki finish her statement.
"Well if you had let me finish talking best friend, you wouldn't have to ask such question."
Adjusting her siting posture on the bed, she got comfortable for the gist.
"Don't you know? Apparently, there are rumors circulating that the Future Alpha had marked an omega last night, I think that's why she is coming this early morning to check and confirm who the omega is"
"Where did you get that information from Anisstiki, don't joke over matters like this" she asked with heavy breaths at the chances of her being discovered by Luna herself.
Although she worked close to the Alpha Family for three years, she did not know the full personality of Luna Oksana, chances were, she would not take the news so likely, she might even blame her for seducing her son and then end up executing her.
Eldora's body became very pale as if she had seen a ghost, hee face was flustered and her heartbeat intensified double the enrollment heart beat rate, she was so scared at what might happen to her if she was caught.
One thing certain was that the Alpha family are not merciful especially when they feel cheated by any one.
It would be better for her that the ground opens up and swallows hee than for her to be in the bad book of the Shark Pack Alpha.
She thought of skipping the meeting this morning, "what if I say I am sick?" She thought.
It would only raise suspicion towards her and make her to be discovered faster than she would like to admit.
"Anisstiki, just go ahead, I will use the toilet and come meet you"
She got rid of her friend, the moment the door closed, she rushed to a small bag that was hanging by the edge of the bed.
Glad that her friend was not like her who did not care about makeup and cosmetics, she grabbed the bag and emptied all the content to the bed.
Hee hand went straight to the almost empty foundation tube and squeezed out of it.
She scribbled the foundation on the neck area in an attempt to cover the mark that gazed at the place.
Proceeding further, she took the broken mirror that was kept by the door.
One look at the mirror, she saw that the foundation she used was a shade lighter than her so her neck stood out and would invite attention. In the end, she had to apply the foundation all over her face and neck to blend the whole place.
When she looked at the mirror again, she saw that it was much better and her face and neck was blended to one color, it did not look two colors.
As if that would not be enough to conceal the mark on her neck again, she took a brown scarf and tied it around her neck.
After thirty minutes of sitting in front of the mirror, she was finally satisfied with her look before stepping out of the room to the omega hall.
From the gates, she could hear faint voices, if people were still talking, it meant Luna Oksana was not there yet. She sealed into the hall and found a place to hide behind all the other omegas.
But she was not able to hide in peace, many other omegas had spotted her and made advances to talk with her.
"Eldora what is this, why are you dressed like this?"
"Omg did you wear makeup today? Msh you are so novice at this, next time get someone to do it for you"
"Waw you started acting like a girl today, is it because You heard Luna would be coming oh poor you, she still wouldn't notice you"
So many people approached her at once and bombarded her with a lot of questions and comments, some even complimented her.
"Ooh darling, you look gorgeous, You should have told me earlier and I would have also applied make up, at least you're looking more beautiful than some people here with or without makeup"
Anisstiki spotted her friend in distress and came to her rescue.
"Thank you" she made gestures with her mouth but didn't let any sound out" she was just glad that her friend had come just in time to rescue her from those Hyenas.
It was the first time that they saw her with makeup and misjudged hee for wanting to impress Luna Oksana.
Although that was not her intention, she did not correct them and let them think what they would.
"Guys, let's focus now and line up, we don't want that wanna be Luna to get angry at us"
That was when Eldora turned and noticed that there was someone else in the room and unknown to her, Lora had her eyes on her all this while, she watched and listened to all the conversation she had with the other girls.
"Attention everyone, We are all here, let's line up".
The familiar voice of Lisa was heard trying to bring order into the hall.
Within a minute, everyone was on a straight line and faced the podium where the fancy seat occupied a beautiful Lora.
"This is Miss Lora and she'd be addressing us today in place of the Luna"
Lora had a smile on her face all through the introduction. She kept looking at her nails, only when Azemoh had addressed them did she stand up to have her speech.
"As you all know, I will be your new Luna, that is why I am here instead of that Old Woman called Luna Oksana, she's not capable and had sent me to assume the official work"
Gasps were heard all over the place at that statement, even Azemoh was surprised by her boldness to call Luna Oksana an old woman without holding back.
"As the future Luna, I have every power and right just as your Luna, so if anyone disrespects me or points fingers at me, you'll face the wrath of your dear Alpha Adam"
She sounded like she was the Luna already, no one missed the warning and threats she gave in this short sentence of hers while laying claim on the Aloha.
Indeed she was trying to mark her territory just in case the omega he had marked was there.
