"Stop wandering, Mom could be here any moment." Errol scolded Audie who kept endlessly trying to get Valentin to go exploring with him. Nael stood obediently beside him, keeping their hands joined.

Errol was too busy keeping his eyes on Audie to notice his mother and younger sister walking up, Nael would have been the one to see them if he hadn't been also occupied with staring at Errol.

Celine was the one that alerted them, she pulled her hand from her mother's hold and ran across the space between them, calling Errol's name. It was clear who her favorite was.

Nael quickly let go of Errol's hand when he whipped around at the familiar voice calling his name, his almond eyes growing bigger. For some reason, he glanced at Lili at that point and found her staring right at him with knowing eyes, it made his heart freeze over.

"Celine!" Errol called back with equal amounts of happiness, hurrying to pick up his sister who was already jumping in excitement.
