Tokyo, Japan,
Shibuya Ward,
Samuel POV,
Samuel walked at a..... never mind, he was actually running right now. Passing by other students as well as adults as he ran down the road, skillfully avoiding any crashes while at the same time, managing his speed in a way that it looked humanly possible. Echidna had revealed to him that with each exercise, his body improved nearly instantly. Adaptive Regeneration was an absolute fucking cheat when it came to stuff like this.
"Why are you running?" Amou followed closely behind, unbothered by the strangeness of the situation. It didn't quite matter to the two that their actions would be frowned upon by the more 'privileged' people living here. "I've gotta pick up my sister." Samuel replied shortly, narrowly avoiding the man that he was about to run into.
"You got a sister now?....." Amou was somewhat thoughtful, that didn't bode quite well for some reason. The man was already quite strange when it came to family.
Not a few minutes later, they came across an intersection and much to Amou's surprise, Samuel stopped abruptly. Joining the small crowd waiting for the light to hit green, "I think we could've made it across." She voiced out her own thoughts, looking down the road with a strange expression.
"We may have been run over too though." Samuel replied calmly, pursing his lips in great disappointment as to what was coming their way.
"What do you mean by th.....oh." Amou went silent too as the sounds of motorbikes entered her ears, "Trash..."
The sounds of shouting could soon be heard, somehow overpowering the noise made by the engines and soon enough, a veritable mass of people could be seen moving through. Multiple men could be seen on singular motorbikes. Holding various blunt weapons, bats being the more common things.
They shouted.. or rather, cheered and roared as if declaring their defiance, blowing horns and striking the ground with metal pipes the sounds of which made a strange and bizarre sound combined with everything else.
"Unruly youngsters." An older woman expressed her displeasure, shaking her head in great disappointment... was this what their young would be doing?
"...." Samuel admitted, the sight was somewhat...cool.
They all wore varying outfits however, at the same time, they wore the same white trench coats. Letters were written in a bright red on the arms and on the back, there was a large red circle, five petals within arranged quite neatly. Various quotes were written from top to bottom as well, appearing similar to red stripes rather than actual words. A very bold line saying, Kagiroi, could be made out if one paid enough attention.
"They're all weaklings seeking validation." Amou muttered out with a mocking smile, folding her arms under her chest, someone with real power wouldn't need to make such a show to declare to the world, "I am here!" Her gaze went to the silver haired teenager standing beside her, a shame he wasn't interested in such things.
"Eh, what if I wanted to do something like that?"
"...They look good."
Amou's words were heard by the last of those who passed and it certainly did their ego well, having a beautiful girl praise you did have it's effects.
"....." Samuel dead panned at Amou who averted her gaze, it wasn't her fault!
"Hohoho..."
Samuel stared at the old man incredulously, that was a goofy laugh...
"...." Amou wanted to tear the geezer's face off. He probably couldn't get it up so he had to rain on her parade.
"Fuah, how scary..." A blonde girl sweatdropped seemingly shook by the crowd that had just passed by.
Strangely enough, Samuel looked over at her in slight surprise, "Have we met before?" He asked the blonde girl, slightly tilting his head in curiosity. Amou clicked her tongue, how come most of his acquaintances were females?
"Ehehe, you think so?" The girl giggled at him, inwardly noting down nearly everything about him, from mannerisms to speech patterns.
'Romcom video online, you didn't bother reading it so I've no idea which.' Echidna quickly notified him that she didn't recognise this person.
Samuel scratched the back of his head, "Can you answer my question?"
"Mhm, I sure can. Let's talk walking, kay?" Her personality was 'seemingly' very cheery and outgoing.
Samuel was sure he heard something crack at that moment, "I'm in a bit of a hurry so I'll have to decline." He slightly bowed, his sister took priority over some he may or may not know.
"Hurry, we need to pick up a pipsqueak." Amou lightly smacked his shoulder, she didn't like this slut getting all over him.
"Ah, is it Hanamaru kindergarten? What a coincidence! I need to go there too... You wouldn't mind me tagging along right?" She smiled brightly, having done her research.
Samuel slightly narrowed his eyes, this girl was suspicious.... Maybe he was just too paranoid.
"No, piss off, slut." Amou quickly cut her off, shooting down any chances of her accompanying them and yet.... the girl didn't even express the slightest annoyance at her behaviour, "Ah.. I'm soo sorry! We're just strangers yet I overreached.... I hope you don't hate me. Let's meet again someday kay?"
Samuel nodded in slight approval, sometimes having a blunt nature did help... it reminded him of a certain blue haired menace to society from his last life.
"....Wimp." Amou slightly grinned.
"Shut up." Samuel clicked his tongue, once more taking to running now that the 'danger' had passed.

A small distance off, the girl from earlier stopped running after turning a corner, slightly stomped her foot, her expression turning blank... That was only the first attempt, "Well, he isn't an idiot though somewhat passive." She noted down something in a notepad before placing it in her pocket.
Ai Hayasaka, a servant to the Shinomiya House and the personal maid of the young lady, she had been assigned by her lady to keep an eye on the man she was supposedly engaged to, "Samuel Hayes"
Why do this one might ask? All necessary information should've been given to the girl by her parents so why?
It was simple, Hayasaka's job here wasn't to find out about him but rather find a flaw which could be used to call off their engagement. Although she hadn't said so directly, such was the clear intention of Kaguya Shinomiya. The girl saw everyone except the man she loved as repetitive weeds after all.
"....Nothing yet." She sighed, such tasks were mentally taxing to the young maid. That aside, not an idiot, was on the man's resume now, seeing as he clearly didn't buy into Hayasaka's act from the moment she opened her mouth. All she got so far was, a genius. A genius with flaws but a genius nonetheless.
Deciding that she had more than enough information for now, Hayasaka quickly called one of the numerous drivers of the Shinomiya House, intending to deliver a report to her mistress.

Samuel walked with a small smile on his face, holding the hand of a little girl strikingly similar to himself. Rin though, was somewhat preoccupied, curiously observing the long black haired girl accompanying the siblings as they went towards home.
According to Hiiragi, "Your brother is at that age I see."
....She knew exactly what the statement meant and now Rin just hoped he wasn't like their mother and father. There were more than enough of those types of people in her life.
"....It's like a carbon copy." Amou remarked looking down on the little girl, though, the girl had an entirely different air about her and clearly wasn't a fighter. She raised her hand making Samuel raise an eyebrow at her actions.
And then patted Rin's head, "Your brother's in good hands little one."
"..." Rin tilted her head, seemingly confused.
"This is why you don't do drugs." Samuel nodded wisely, holding out a finger.
"...."
"You asked for it." Samuel shrugged at Amou's annoyance, that was not how relationships work and there was no way she was brute forcing him into one.
"I see Hiiragi was wrong." Rin noted, they behaved far too freely to have that kind of relationship.
"In her defence, she is a kid." Samuel defended the blue haired girl that had much to Amou's pleasure and pride mistaken the two to be in a relationship.
"I see.." Rin nodded, understanding that children were bound to make mistakes no matter what.

Give a review or two you bloody asshats.
Samuel meets Haysaka as cheery side. Wonder how the two will develop from here onwards.
That gang that crossed them was Kagiroi under Kuroda Ryuhei from Lookism and will be properly expanded upon in a later chapter.
Also for all those hating on how he behaves, I left you a little something in the chapter comments.
