He Was Confessed Before?

"You didn't answer any of my calls for three days."

Theodore thought he was a rational guy and never giving in to his feelings. Never in his wildest dreams, he thought that he would say such petty things to a girl. It was not petty actually; he was truly worried at first. As he knew how clumsy she is, he thought something likely happened to her as she was not answering her phone calls. That morning when Kiera came back to her apartment and told that she was just chilling out in her apartment, as usual, he was slightly mad.

She has time to watch tons of dramas at home, but she can't have a little bit of time to answer his calls. Is she ignoring him? And here he was thinking whether she is in danger or something. Come to think of it, she did tell him that she will be at his service until Kiera comes back.

So, just because Kiera came back, she doesn't even want to answer his calls?

He was furious thinking about all these. He never cared for someone like this, even for his family members. On the other hand, she is giving him a cold shoulder.

At first, he also thought about doing the same. After all, she is just a friend of Kiera who helped him for some days. It isn't like he is gonna see her every day or something.

Theodore himself didn't know how Annabelle started to control her life without her knowing. Though he planned to avoid her thoughts too, he found himself nuzzled in her thoughts all over again.

What was she? Making him vulnerable this way? She was a seduction witch who could easily make him attached to her.

Finally, Theodore gave up on his stubbornness and rushed here late at night. He wasn't able to get any sleep for two days. This can't go on like this.

Anna didn't notice it was very late since she was busy chatting with Kiera about Theodore's past. She was going to gain some information about his love life and in the meantime, they were interrupted by Theodore himself. She was so stunned to see Theodore here at this time that she forgot that she was in her pajamas with her hair unwashed for the whole two days. She looked like a total mess though she forgot to care about that a long time ago. This guy made her conscious of her outlook after a long time and now it's him again making her totally unconscious about her outlook, throwing her back and forth in some overflowing emotions.

"I didn't check…..." Anna didn't know what to say.

Suddenly a thought came to Theodore's mind. Why didn't he think of it before? Shit, did he really become some kind of fool after meeting her? She probably blocked him, that's why she didn't know he called her. It was impossible to ignore so many calls from someone even if she wanted to avoid them.

That made him more furious. He is not gonna go back until he gets his answer.

"Why? Are you so busy that you didn't get time to check your phone?" Theodore interrogated her.

Anna was dumbfounded again. He is acting somewhat weird. And here she was thinking he maybe doesn't even feel necessary to see her anymore. Furthermore, she thought he was here today for Kiera. So, he actually came all this way to question her about this?

Just by thinking of it, Annabelle felt happy for no reason. These days, she is having mood swings. In one moment, she is happy, and in the next second she is mad and all these mood swings are somehow related to him.

"Leave the door. Are you not gonna let me in?" Anna's thoughts were interrupted when he said something shameless again.

"Eh? Didn't you say you don't want to come inside?"

"Now, I want to. Didn't you say I was here for Kiera? So, I am," Theodore said as he walked past her towards her living room.

This guy, did he eat something bad today? Why is he acting so out of character today?

Kiera was waiting, sitting on the sofa. Why is Anna taking so long? Who exactly came all of a sudden in this odd hour?

Kiera heard some footsteps through the corridor and thought it was Anna.

"Hey, Anna? Who came this... Theo?" she was stunned to see the person was Theodore as she least expected him to come.

"Don't call me that, idiot." Theodore scrawled.

Both Kiera and Anna were aware of the fact that he didn't like to be called by his nickname. Though 'Theo' sounds cooler, he still doesn't like it for some reason.

Hmm, Anna also has to know about this reason from Kiera. After all, it is making her super curious why this guy doesn't like such a cool pet name.

"Hey, did you come to pick me up brotheeeer?" Kiera asked his cousin teasingly, giving a great emphasis on the word 'brother'.

It was the first time Anna saw Kiera tease someone other than her.

"Dream on." Theodore barked at her.

They really share a funny relationship as brother and sister.

"Aish, why be so rude? I cooked you delicious kimchi rice today, you didn't even eat those and now you are acting as if it was my fault that you didn't eat."

Anna held her hand with utter frustration. This girl, the only thing she can cook is kimchi rice which tastes horrible to her let alone Theodore, the great picky eater. She is so cruel, making him eat that disaster.

Anna ate those first when she was still singing. Those days she often didn't get time to prepare her meals. One day, the same thing happened and unfortunately, all the stores were also closed for some kind of strike. Kiera then shared her lunch with Anna that day. It was the same kimchi rice with the same taste. Anna was grateful to her as she was hungry, but after eating those she regretted hard.

Kiera couldn't make any other dish than this. But somehow, she couldn't improve in this dish also after so many times practicing this. Even now, she makes those for Anna. But still, just because Theodore can't eat food except it's homemade, she just can't do that to him, right?

"Well bro, listen. A while ago, we were just talking about that confession you got which made a huge uproar in the school. You still remember that, right?"

The moment he remembered what she was talking about, his expression became pale. He instantly glared at Kiera with a murderous look. Kiera pretended as if she hadn't seen it.

Suddenly she turned her attention to Anna who was almost invisible in front of their bickering.

"Anna… so let's continue where we left, shall we?" Kiera said with an evil smirk.

"DON'T!" Theodore's voice was loud and commanding enough to make anyone scared.

"Whatever," Kiera rolled her eyes.

But alas! It wasn't the same case for Kiera. She was very used to this temper as she herself is like this. On second thought, they should have been twins instead of being cousins.

Anna was already on the verge of losing her patience. This is her apartment and she was supposed to be the one ordering around. But these two brother-sisters always make her work for them. And now, they are bickering like a child in front of her making her feel invisible. It was true that she herself wanted to know about that unique confession.

What kind of girl would she be to make a confession to this guy publicly? She must be very confident about herself or maybe she was blackmailed to death. Because confessing to any of these two was tougher than playing with fire. Or maybe her confession made him change his mind that he still remembers it? Still, it feels kinda absurd imagining these two responding to a confession just because the other party did it somewhat confidently.

One an Ice King and the other is a fire goddess. Handling each of them would be tough for sure. But right now, she can't accept these two people's temper.

As they weren't least interested in her right now, Anna put her TV remote loudly on the wooden table beside the sofa which made Kiera almost jump.

"Are you guys over now?"

"Yes… I guess?" Kiera said slowly as she witnessed Annabelle's sudden change of mood. Does she not want to know about him anymore? But a while ago she was so curious. What happened suddenly?

Theodore didn't say anything but looked at Anna's angry expression.

"If you are over, then excuse yourselves for today. I am gonna compose my word files now. I need some peace." Anna said sternly as she left no room for those two to stay.

Kiera slowly picked up her bag and dragged herself to the door. She thought she could stay over tonight to Anna's but looks like she irked Anna's inner demon to explode. Though she was already ready to go back home, she found Theodore still sitting on the sofa. Why is he still sitting there? But before she could call him out, Anna again started to bark.

"I said to all of you. Looks like you didn't hear it clearly." This time, Anna looked at Theodore with her squinted eyes.

Theodore still didn't move an inch. As if he didn't get to hear her barking. He was more concerned about something else.

"Don't stay awake for too long. It's already very late." Theodore uttered those words softly as he stood up and closed the distance between them with his big steps.
