A Reincarnator's Journey

David Valor, a normal sophomore student, dies in a cliche 'truck-kun' accident just to get sent to another world by the system! Using the 'true' system, he slowly rises to the top of the food chain before truly begining his adventure! (David may not be a "Good" Mc as I want to write it in a way of what I would do if I was in this situation myself. Of course there will also be some things different than what I think as well.) *** Note: I have no real plans for this story, it was made on a whim, so it may lose quality on the way, please read with caution! Schedule: I'm still in school so updates will also be somewhat slow, also, english is not my first language so please comment if I wrote something wrong! Thank you for reading!

**(Colosseum - Lobby)**

*Whoosh~*

From the cracks of a dimension, forcing David to leave, has now re-entered the same place, in a different dimension.

David looked around, more than half of the class had returned, "So I guess this is the 'lobby' then." He muttered.

He glanced over everyone and found that Feil was already back, well, it was obvious, almost everyone there at the time was talking to him... wait no, wrong term, currying favor with him.

Everyone... well, other than Hana, Sam, and Kyle, were nobles to some level. The lowest rank being a viscount's son, each of them had quite the face, as if they were even ready to literally bootlick the man in front of them.

David smiled wryly for him, he could see the small signs. Feil was tapping a bit more, his smile was forced, and a good amount of the time, his eyes were closed... maybe to hide the irritation that would be so clearly exposed once he opened them again.

He could tell that Feil wanted nothing more than to get the hell away from them... but for being a royal, he still needs a certain level of relationship and reputation from the other nobles. Whether he likes it or not.

Feil was nodding along with the other students who were currying favor with him, he saw David smiling wryly at him out of the corner of his eye.

Feil saw David's wry smile, which he thought was him being teased.

His eyes twitched, his expression darkened at his teasing, as if to say: "Why don't you come out more often to see how these nobles curry favor with an upper rank noble or royal, hmph!"

David shrugged, and jumped onto the stands and sat down, only a few seats away from Feil, where he could be close, but also not attract too much attention.

He took out a notebook and began to write some things that happened earlier.

'From the fight earlier, since I defeated Gluri's clone, either that makes him weaker if he experiences everything, or he's completely fine now, and even stronger than before as he has more of his powers back. Most likely the first though...' David was analyzing the fight he had with Gluri.

'Hmm... there was also this thing about the scaling of skills, or... my weapon type techniques... is this intended or something else?' David asked the system in his mind.

[Answering the Host's Question: From the standpoint of the system, it would be convenient and easy to identify units with one scale. It easily makes those who are supposed to be better or can be others stand out. Because of the errors of the system that had even affected the {???} to some extent, some skills cannot be counted as the same. For example, a level 1 skill could better than someone with the same skill but maxed out.]

'That's... yeah, fair... not gonna... even drop any hint about those question marks?' David smiled.

...

'Ok... guess not. System, did I gain anything other than just completing the quest? I'm sure that from my title, even if it was around an hour or two of training, I should've gotten something, right?' David asked another question.

[Answering the Host's Question: Even if the Host does have extreme talent from the system in overall battle talent, it doesn't come to fruition in less than a day. You can improve your talent to match those main characters you would see in those novels you read once you are able to increase your bloodline purity.]

"Well... that makes much more sense, no pain... no gain. Maybe I should get into fights more often. It's the best way to increase experience, skill experience, and overall combat experience." David stopped writing.

'Oh... wait... System, can you list all of the ways I can increase the purity of my bloodlines?' He asked.

[Answering the Host's Question: There are several options, eating the desired species and using {Assimilate}, using bottles/syringes of {??? Ancient Blood}, completing missions, etc. From the 'error', the Host may gain extra options as you grow.]

'Ahh... should've expected that... doesn't hurt to have more options though. This error thing again...' David nodded at the answer in front of him.

*Whoosh~*

David looked down to see the process of how students entered and exited, 'So who made it back?'

A figure appeared, standing. It was Elizebeth, she was flushed, and was panting a bit, seemingly out of stamina.

"Sorry everyone, my sister arrived. I'll go pick her up." Feil had also seen her... and used her as a shield to get away from the others.

"That's alright, your highness, we'll talk another time!" One student spoke up.

The others didn't want to annoy him, so the rest nodded in agreement with that statement.

Feil left the group and sighed in relief, "Finally, I can get them off my back."

He jumped down and placed his sister's arm around his shoulder, "Are you alright? You normally wouldn't be this tired."

Elizebeth smiled, "Don't worry, I'm fine. I just overused my mana a little and got dizzy." She replied.

"Don't push yourself, you know your condition." Feil pursed his lips.

David looked at her from above, 'She seems exhausted... and quite cold, she's shivering. An illness?'

He jumped down from the stands, landing gracefully before Feil and Elizebeth, "Are you alright, Elizebeth? You're shaking." He asked politely.

Feil looked at David in surprise, 'Did he find out?'

"I'm fine, I just over-exhausted my mana. I'll be fine after some rest." She smiled.

'No stutters... is she comfortable with me now, or is she hiding something?' David smiled back.

"Then I won't stop you, take your sister to the infirmary." David glanced at Feil.

He nodded and left the colosseum because this was the real version, he could just directly leave from the hallway.

David stood there... before his expression changed again, "Wait, could I just leave now?"
