Chapter2:Frist Day

Aries Pov

I had arrived at the school and took a glance at the building. I walked through the entrance into the courtyard. The campus was stunning to see. There were a lot of beautiful plants everywhere. The glass was greener than everything I had ever seen.

They had a water fountain in the middle of the school. I could tell they were loaded with money. This school was just beyond fancy. I might enjoy this school even more than I thought I was.

I entered the front doors of the academy and looked around. The hallways were packed. There were students everyone already in their groups. I didn't know where to go or what to do.

"Man, why are the first days always so hard?" I asked myself.

I had made out of the crowded hallways and found myself In front of a room. The doors were open, and it seemed that people were inside. I walked Into the room. There wear multiple table chairs throughout the room. Students that appeared to be my age were sitting down chatting among themselves.

"Maybe someone could help me. It doesn't help to ask."

I walked to the table that was at the end of the room. The boy was sitting alone with his arms crossed. I walked towards him, waving till I stood in front of him.

"Um, hey, I'm sorry to bother. But do you know where the freshmen were supposed to be?" I asked.

"We are supposed to be in here till further notice. The school sent an email to everyone's parents." He responded

"Oh, my mother didn't check her email," I said with a nervous smile.

"I could tell you were probably too excited for your first year." He said.

"Yeah, I was. This means everything to me," I said in excitement.

"That's good for you." He replied.

"Do you mind if I sit here?" I asked.

"Don't mind, go ahead." He replied.

I sat down beside him. He gave off this cool yet chill vibe to me. Maybe I should try to become friends with him. Who knows if he might say yes.

"My name is Aries its nice to meet you," I said.

"JIm Sliver, nice to meet you." He replied.

"So, jim, I was wondering if you wanted to be friends?" I asked.

"Sure, why not." He answered.

The light in the entire room would shut off, and a spotlight appeared on the center of the stage. That was in the front of the room. A man had walked into the spotlight. He had a slim, bulk body and had white skin with red tied in a ponytail. His red eyes stared at every last one of us.

He gave off a cold and menacing presence. All the students were scared to speak, even me. I had never felt this presence in my life.

"Good morning, students. I'm going to be you're principal for the next four years." He said in a cold tone.

This is our school principal, are you serious! This man looks like he could kill all of us in a frickin second. I don't feel safe with this man. I don't want to trust this man with my life.

"Students, you have come here today to be the future saviors of the human race. The humans depend on your success." He said.

"The the next four years, you will learn discipline, teamwork. You will face hardships, pain suffering. You will form bonds that create meaningful friendships. you will become a better person than you were today." He said.

"But you most committed to your dream. Failure will not be tolerated. You have teachers that are dedicated to your success."He said.

"Now become a hunter that everyone can depend on. Be the best of the best the world needs you."He said.

The principal speech moved all students. Everyone, including me, clapped our hands and cheered.

"Alright, students, my secretary will hand out you're schedules for this following year." He said.

A woman with a stack of papers walked out from behind the stage. She was 175 cm tall and wore her black hair in a sloppy bun. She was dressed in a business suit and wore red glasses. She distributed schedules to each kid and then walked behind the stage when she was through.

I checked my schedule for the year, making sure I had everything I needed. I had a nice amount of class time, and after my third period, I had lunch. So I'd say my schedule was relatively well-balanced.

I checked with my new friend Jim to see if we were in the same classes. He was a big guy with a well-toned body. His blue eyes were lifeless and devoid of life. His blue hair hung in front of his eyes. He exuded a chilly mood. I could tell he was incredibly frightening just by looking at him.

I can't judge him solely on his appearance. Before I can judge him, I need to get to know him on a personal level. My mother was a firm believer in not judging a book by its cover. A person's personality, not their appearance, is used to judge them. That is how I make and treat my friends.

Who knows, he could be a great buddy and a good person. During our high school years, we may create wonderful memories. I'm hoping we'll be in the same classes so we can spend more time together.

"Jim, would you mind if I looked at your schedule? So I could double-check if we're in the same class?" I questioned him.

"All right, go on." He remarked this as he handed me his schedule.

"Thank you," I said as I began to read his schedule.

I looked through his schedule. We only have two periods together, the first and second. We do eat lunch together, which makes me pleased.

"It appears that we will only have two periods and lunch together," I said as I handed him his schedule back.

"Well, I'm hoping the teachers aren't wired," He responded.

"Well, I agree," I said with a chuckle.

To draw everyone's attention, the principal clapped his hand. The kids abruptly ceased speaking and turned to face the principal. I paused in my conversation with Jim and turned to face the principal.

"Everyone should now report their first-period class from the schedule." As all of the students nodded, he remarked.

Freshmen students swiftly rose from their seats and made their way to their classroom. Some pupils were looking forward to going, while others were afraid of the principal. Jim and I got out of our chairs and made our way into the classroom.

I was preparing my lesson plan in the teacher's lounge. This was my first year teaching, so I had to double-check everything after convincing the commander that it was better to become a teacher rather than continue hitting the field. I believe the jerk only wanted to get rid of me.

I can't say I blame him. I've always been that way. I maintained being careless, despite being a good leader. I had a habit of rushing into things as if it were second nature to me, generating extra problems for everyone. So I understood why the commander chose me to be a teacher.

"But, hey, who am I to complain? I was promoted to Section Sergeant and received a raise in pay. I'm living the dream of being able to teach some children." With a grin on my face, I said.

I stepped out of the teacher's lounge with my clipboard in hand and into my classroom. I walked into the room and took a glance at my students. I had a good number of students. I'm in control of their destiny for the next four years, so I'm in the range of 150 to 170.

I'll do my best to prepare them for life as hunters, but it'll be up to them to put out their best effort. I make sure they don't die or get hurt too badly. I hope this isn't too much trouble.

I went behind my desk and scribbled "Mr.Blake" on the whiteboard with a marker. I shifted my gaze to my classmates. My formal hunting costume consisted of a white dress with a blue tie. A blue blazer to wear over my medals and awards-laden shirt. A pair of black dress shoes and a pair of blue dress pants. Teachers require formal attire. Therefore I had to wear it."

Students, good morning. For the next four years, I will be your first-period instructor. "I said hello and introduced myself.

"Let's see how today goes because it's the first day. I'm going to do a quick lesson. It makes no difference to me if you don't pay attention in class. You're sabotaging your own future, not mine." I said.

I returned to the whiteboard and started lecturing on aura's history. While the majority of my students were paying attention, others were chatting or falling asleep. I didn't give a damn if they were paying attention or not. I'm not paid to babysit; I'm paid to teach. They want to mess with their grade. Then it'll be up to them.

"Now, who can tell you when you'll be able to apply something you've learned in this lesson?" I asked, turning back to face my students.

"That individual possessed the power to make aura but was unaware of it until now." One of my students responded.

"You're right. Is there anybody else out there?" He questioned my students."

That demons has the ability to use aura, but it's a tainted version of it." According to a female student.

"Yes, it is right. I requested of my students. Who knows how to awaken their aura nowadays."

"By using your spiritual energy to correct yourself through meditation. Another option is to be in a highly stressful scenario." The response came from a male student.

"That's correct, and you did a great job," I said.

The bell rang throughout the classroom, signaling that it was time to change periods. My students began to pack their belongings and rise from their chairs, heading for the exit. I took the easer and removed the examples away from the whiteboard.

"Have a great rest of the day. See you tomorrow," I said as I walked towards my desk and saw down.

I was on my way out the door. Before entering the hallway, I took one more look at Mr.Blake. I couldn't believe it was my teacher who had pushed me to pursue a career as a hunter. In-person, he was much cooler, and I hope I didn't let him down.

"Why are you just standing in the corridor? You appear to be a moron." As he put his hand on my shoulder, my friend Jim said

"My apologies. I was daydreaming at the time." With a nervous chuckle, he said.

"It's all right. Let's hurry up and get to class before it's too late. I don't want to get in trouble right now." He stated his case.

"Ok, we can't make a horrible first impression." He responded.

We'd then proceed to the next class period. We heard people yelling at the end of the corridor as we were walking. Jim and I decided to have a look. We noticed two young ladies bickering about something. The argument was heating up and was about to devolve into a brawl.

"What is going on?" I asked Jim.

"I don't know." He replied.

"Should we stop them," I replied.

"No clue." He replied with a blank stare.
