The Messiah Returns [Part 2]

"Leave the boy," a bone-chilling voice commanded, his final words echoing across the town.

A loud flapping of wings hushed the minor god and pushed a storm of dust into the God of Skin Lotion's face. Within an instant, a flicker of purple beside Jason, and the towering black-horned demon lowered himself to face the royal vampire.

"My liege has news for you," he said in an emotionless voice.

His tail slithered behind him as the scales ground the debris of the town, and the blond god stared in horror as residual dust floated onto his face. Stomping his foot angrily, he crossed his arms and coughed loudly, gathering the attention of everyone present.

"HEY, WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?" the God of Skin Lotion screamed angrily. 

The minor god had been made a fool one too many times in a single day, and he couldn't stand to watch this ugly purple monster walk all over his pride.
