The ruler of the sea

"And why should we fish man join you... humans." A blue-haired man sat on a throne, looking coldly upon Giga Chad and the others.

"I can offer the sea race two things. the first is to leave this cage you're in. This is not simply your home, but it also acts as your prison. You are all nothing more than plants being farmed," Giga Chad said, making the blue-haired man's eyes narrow. indeed, they of the sea race couldn't so easily leave the sea. the law ancestor was treating them like plants, waiting for the day their bloodline reaches a high enough quantity and quality for him to come back once more

Giga Chad had already noticed this when he entered the darkness, that darkness was a formation that targeted them, yet also shield them.

"Second, I can help the sea race ancestor. I can sense him, and I know he is in a frozen state of time. Hell, I can even make him stronger than ever before. what I'm offering the sea race is freedom and the return of its ancestor. I believe this is more than enough for your race to join us." Giga Chad said calmly, stunning everyone within the throne room, but Giga Chad ignored them all and simply looked at the king of the sea.

"... I can tell you're not even over 20, your talent is something above the like of the law ancestor. I sense no falsehood within your words. I can understand you're no fool, someone of your talent wouldn't come so far to throw his life away to enrage me. but I'm not foolish enough to believe you without proof. how do you plan to bring to us freedom." The ruler of the sea asked after some thought

"I have 3 ways to free you. The first is to simply find its weak spot, which I haven't found due to how complex it is. second is to create your own opening, a doorway within the darkness you and the others trapped within can pass through, but that would take a lot of time, and the size would be great. lastly, have the blood of the law ancestor. which can greatly weaken the formations, and help me in doing the first and second way." Giga Chad said calmly

"... you have the law ancestor blood?" The ruler of the sea asked, while everyone within the throne looked glared at the Giga Chad group, with unfriendly eyes.

"the law ancestor sacrificed his clan for power, so those who hold his bloodline are hard to find. those who managed to live spread out, and live hiding away. so yes, the blood running through me is that of the law ancestor." Giga Chad said calmly, making those of the sea race within the throne shocked by what they were hearing.

they didn't know the law ancestor was so greedy for power he did what he did to them, to his own family. this was a new level of low... so, could Giga Chad be trusted?

"My lord, allowing outsiders to enter was already bad enough, but we can't trust those who have the blood of our enemy. humans are greedy, but the law ancestor takes this to a new extreme." A white-haired man said while stepping forward, many others stepped forward to agree, while a few wanted to take this chance to be free.

Giga Chad ignored everyone and simply looked at the king, waiting for his words. he would not waste this time here if his next words were not to his liking. the ruler of the sea noticed the look in Giga Chad's eyes, making him frown.

"Is Sora with you?" The ruler of the sea asked a question that caught Giga Chad off guard,

"Sora is a battle-hungry man, a man who enjoys a good fight. a man who doesn't create trouble, but stands and crosses his fingers hoping it would come his way. If Sora is with you, then I will trust you." The ruler of the sea said calmly, leaving everyone speechless. they wanted to refute his words, but he wasn't lying. which made Fang Mei's annoyance show, which made the ruler of the sea relax slightly.

from the information he got about the outside world, he knew a good amount about Sora, and he was even to judge Sora's personality. a talented freak who grew stronger through battle, many considered Sora to be the most talented person of the 4 regions,

"Did someone say my name?" A laugh sounded as the throne doors were kicked open and Sora entered, carrying a goddess who had fainted. the air grew still as everyone saw the sight, mostly those of the sea race who were stunned seeing the princess

Killing intent filled the room, most of it aimed toward Sora. the ruler of the sea stood up, his rage filling his eyes.

"calm down, she wanted to suck me, but I was more than she could handle. She simply suffered a backlash which knocked her out," Sora said not bothered by the killing intent, but his words caused the killing intent to freeze and be replaced by shock by what they heard

"S-she what?" Fang Mei and Hong Ying's eyebrows shot up upon hearing Sora's words, but before Sora could explain, a water beam shot toward Sora. this beam had a power equal to a power level of 5 mountains and rivers, and its piercing capability made most defenses pointless before it.

Sora's eyebrow raised while looking at the beam of water, just when he was about to block the attack, the ruler of the sea moved, causing the water before Sora to harden, blocking the water.

the ruler of the sea turned his cold glare towards the white-haired man who had attacked, he dared to attack with his daughter there? this guy was seeking death,

"How cute, the law ancestor did this thing putting spies within here. what was your task," Sora asked calmly, causing the room to go silent, but when they looked at Sora who had the shining dragon eyes opened, they were shocked.

"what are you saying, you humans are just shameless to even try and rub dirty on me." The White-haired man said angrily,

"I never understood spies, clearly you know how amazing I was. so you tried to kill me the moment my guard was down. now, since I'm more amazing than the law ancestor, why not kneel and kiss my feet? since you are a pro at backstabbing, why not join the winning side? don't think you can kill me, I had so many months to grow, thats like a thousand years worth of growth for you guys." Sora said with a mocking smile,

"..." the white-haired man opened and closed his mouth, trying to find words to say. but he couldn't say anything as Sora's words were true,

"so you not a blind believer, go on. submit under me, and I will protect you. I will even remove that soul mark on your soul," Sora said stunning the white-haired man, and a few other people within the room, which was the ruler of the sea took the note off.

"Really?" The White-haired man asked in shock, to which Sora shook his head

"I'm not talented in soul airs, but Giga Chad is. do your thing." Sora said while looking towards Giga Chad, annoying Giga Chad. this was going to be his trump card later on, yet Sora just up and revealed it.

During their battle that day, Giga Chad had indeed used many soul arts, allowing Sora to know just how highly skilled he was in soul arts, at least more so than Sora.

"The soul mark placed upon you is only active when you act to betray the law ancestor. its mark onto the soul, and would spread to your generations. it seems like it allows you to have some degree of free will, but not too much movement space." Giga Chad said calmly, to which the White-haired man could only look at Giga Chad, unable to say anything out of fear of the soul mark.

Giga Chad didn't say anything else, with a flash, he appeared before the white-haired man and grabbed his head. the White-haired man had no choice but to defend himself, but he was too weak and slow. in a blink of an eye, his soul was pulled out, and Giga Chad devoured part of the soul which had the mark.

this allowed him to strengthen his soul cultivation by a huge amount thanks to that soul mark, letting go of the soul, it returned to its body, and was shocked seeing how it was not free.

Giga Chad Sora spread out, and instantly all of the spies fainted, allowing him to go on to devour the soul mark one by one,

"Well, I'm expecting your talks went well and we have new allies right?" Sora asked while throwing the princess onto his shoulder, as he was not feeling like carrying her in a princess carry. the ruler of the sea's lips twitched seeing how his beloved daughter was being treated, but before he could say anything he was caught off.

"what do you mean by she sucked you?" Hong Ying asked coldly, as she was still Sora's boyfriend, she would not accept Sora having another lover without even speaking to her first.

Fang Mei was also glaring at Sora, leaving Sora speechless, not knowing what he did wrong. Was it wrong to be sucked nowadays?

"all she did was suck me a little, what's the big deal if she sucks my blood?" Sora asked with a weird look, making everyone look at him weirdly, why put it in such a weird way?

"I drop off your blood did this to her?" the ruler of the sea asked in horror, to which Sora nodded with a prideful look.

"she thought she could suck me dry, I told her she couldn't handle me. I had to help her find out the hard way. She was out in seconds." Sora said with a shake of his head, only for his mouth to be covered by Fang Mei who glared at him to shut up.

"P-put my daughter down." The ruler of the sea said, his body shaking from the words coming out of Sora's words. He might not be able to hold himself back if Sora kept speaking. Sora shrugged while throwing the princess towards the king, causing his body to shake once more such how his beloved daughter was being treated so roughly

"don't you know how to treat a princess? why are you so rough?" Fang Mei said with a frown, they couldn't be so rude with their future allies.

"I'm pretty so she could handle that, but I understand, I will be more gentle next time and be slow with it," Sora said with a shrug, he just didn't feel like walking to the king and giving her his daughter, so he simply tossed her.

"don't say anything else." Fang Mei said through gritted teeth, everyone coming out of Sora's mouth sounded so wrong. The ruler of the sea was breathing heavily with every sound coming out of Sora's mouth, it was clear he was having a hard time controlling his anger.

"... why did your daughter suck his blood?" Hong Ying asked wanting to change the topic from all of this.

"My daughter has the Sea God Devouring Dragon Bloodline. With this bloodline, she can devour the life force of others to increase her talent. be it cultivation or comprehensions talent... it's an immortal grade bloodline," the ruler of the sea said softly, leaving everyone stunned by what they heard,

"but... I never heard of talent so high that even a drop of blood could cause such a thing," The ruler of the sea said while looking deeply at Sora, eyes filled with complex emotions,

"thats because I have an endless amount of potential, a drop of infinity is still infinite. I wanted to see if she gained a bit of infinity and if she would have been a worthy rival, but it seems like her physique has its limits." Sora said with a shrug,

"you would have done that knowing good well we could have been your enemy?" The ruler of the sea asked with a raised eyebrow

"I don't fear someone stronger than me, I don't fear a rival. my talent is not like others, my comprehension talent or cultivation talent isn't outstanding, but the limit to my growth is. so long as my mindset remains strong," Sora said with a smile,

Indeed, a Saiyan had infinite potential. but it didn't mean their cultivation talent or their comprehension talent was infinite. instead, their future growth was endless, all that was needed was for their mindset to remain strong, and to be motivated toward future heights.

when Goku and Vegeta thought they reached the peak of strength, they didn't grow stronger, but once they shall that there was a higher level of power waiting for them, their growth skyrocketed. of course, they had teachers, but their mindset played the biggest role. the same could also be said about the Zenkai boost, simply getting injured without the mindset needed for power would weaken the Zenkai boost.

"..." Giga Chad looked deeply at Sora, for a moment before looking at the princess. Sora was someone Giga Chad found interesting, for someone so talented he knew himself well, and his mindset best brought out his capability.

now that the princess had gained Sora's blood, she shall have a hint of Sora's talent, a fragment of that endless amount of talent. Who knows, she might one day reach a point where she could rival Sora.

"... you could have killed her." the ruler of the sea said in a shaky voice, to which Sora waved it off.

"don't worry, I'm sure there are ways to bring her back to life," Sora said while waving it off, indeed bringing someone back to life was not impossible, the understanding of the law of life needed to do so was high, plus the person trying to be brought back to life couldn't be too special. the more special they all, the more you would have to fight with the heavens.

"Plus, I want her to join my sect. so I was keeping a close watch," Sora said with a smile, making the ruler of the sea glare at Sora for some time, before turning around and disappearing, only to return moments later.

"You shall have the sea race support... so long as you stay at least 1 mile away from my daughter," he said while glaring at Sora, leaving Sora speechless, but he shrugged and nodded.

"what if she wants to suck me? I might not be able to help myself," Sora said making everyone look at him, could he not hear himself?

"just say absorb your lifeforce... no, devour your blood. say that." The Ruler of the sea said through gritted teeth,

"Okay, what if she wants to devour my blood? I'm sure she might be able to handle it the next time around..." Sora's mouth was covered by Fang Mei, who pulled Sora out of the throne room after apologies to the ruler of the sea whose face was red from his rage

Hong Ying paid her respect and apologies on behalf of her boyfriend, before having Yu Rou, Yu Jian, Yu She, and Nu Chad, leave to watch Sora, while she and Giga Chad remained to deal with the rest. she was the 3rd strongest within the group, so she couldn't leave like that.
