Flashes from the cameras and eager reporters are waiting outside of a certain house. They are waiting for some juicy news when they heard that the supermodel Misha is going to get married. This took them to wait anxiously outside her home. However, no shadow of Misha came in or came out.
It was already dark when the group of reporters deserted the place. They headed towards Magnificent Star Creative. It is the managing company of Misha.
Misha's manager and friend Duke came into the office to talk about the sudden news. A man with a large build, dressed in an all-white suit with a white leather shoes swaying his hips towards his office. He knew that Misha is already inside waiting for him. Automatically when he saw her, he directly asked her about the rumour.
"Misha my dear... Is this true? How come I wasn't informed." he asked in a girlish tone. Duke is gay and it made him a little bit upset when he heard it from the president instead from the girl in question.
"For Christ sake Duke, I am more shocked than you are!" said Misha while massaging her neck. It is her way of showing how anxious she is. Duke and she are friends' way back since high school. Therefore, he knew how hot-blooded Misha is.
"You mean, you had no idea either?" Duke asked.
"No! Mom and Dad broke the ice just this morning. They even told me that they have prepared everything already. I will be married to the son of LGC. That's all I know." Misha answered him and judging by her look, she don't know what to feel.
"Are we still in the ancient times?" Duke asked her sarcastically.
"Stop being sarcastic and help me find out whom I'm going to marry. Obviously, I can't marry to a stranger." rolling her eyes to Duke and handed him the laptop.
"Okay girl, consider it done." he winked at her and sat on the chair.
"I don't want to upset my parents but I can't get married. Now is not the time. I can't afford to lose my momentum. Not now." she said helplessly. She is at the peak of her carrier and her job required her to be single to avoid complications and unnecessary gossips.
She's irritated by the actions of her parents but cannot bring herself to hate them. She knew that what they did is just for her own welfare. But, the thing is she is not a child anymore. She's already 25 and she wanted to make the most of her life by being single.
Awhile later, Duke handed her the laptop. She raised her brows and took it.
She read the file regarding the man whom she going to marry.
"Not bad," she said with a smile on her lips.
At the top floor of Lincoln Group of Companies, where Lyndon's office is located.
A man in a black suit whose face is contorted with anger is standing against the light and slamming his table down. He's so furious and making his staff cower like rabbits in the corner. They never saw their president this angry. What could make him be like that?
Before going to work, his father called him to his study.
"Is there anything you want father?" he asked because his father only summons him with important matters to his study.
The man in his 50's standing behind his table. His hands are crouched at his back. He seemed agitated.
"No. I've called you here because we've already arranged your marriage..." said Albert. To Lyndon, it was like a bomb dropped directly at his head.
"W-what?" asked Lyndon. Obviously, he was shocked.
"She's the daughter of a good friend of mine. Knowing you, you will not pay attention to your private life so your mother decided to marry you off. Don't worry, she's pretty and intelligent too." said his dad in a monotonous tone. It was as if the old man was reading a script.
It was as his father said. He doesn't plan to marry. Marriage is like a curse to him. Truthfully, he is afraid of women. He's not gay and he already proved it. It's just that, he's afraid of dominant women. They have the tendency to control especially relationships.
Lyndon doesn't like being controlled.
After knowing this, Lyndon paled.
He obviously doesn't know what to feel.
He was not with himself and didn't even know how he arrived at his office.
He sat down in his chair and put his hands on his pockets looking at the view from his office. He wanted to digest everything of what his father said. It was until then his secretary Maybel came knocking at his door bringing bad news.
His were veins popping on his neck and forehead, indicating that Maybel stepped at the landmine in the wrong time.
The bad news was the reporters were outside the building waiting for him to step out.
"No... I won't give them the liberty to pry on this," he muttered and then he ordered Maybel to disperse the reporters outside the building and say that it is a false rumour.
Maybel hurried to fulfil her boss' orders. After dispersing the reporters, Maybel headed back to his office to report however, Lyndon handed her a piece of paper.
"Find out that woman's identity. I want a detailed profiling. Put it in my table afterwards." he instructed Maybel.
"Yes sir." is her short reply.
"You may go now."
He looked outside his office's window like he's been thinking about something.
Later that afternoon, he received the files of Misha on his table. He looked into it.
Maybel exited his office right after she delivered the files to him.
"Huh! Is this he called intelligent? Not even a bit." he sneered.
But his heart betrayed him as it palpitated loudly. His face flushed red and a huge smile hung on his face.
'See you soon Misha. I hope you did not forget me.'
