Just Met

Two figures fast approaching on their table.

They look good together as anyone can say when they see them.

Misha is wearing a body con floral dress; she paired it with pink stilettos. One could see her elegance and her domineering aura.

Lyndon on the other hand wore casual suit. He wore a V-neck sweater and rolled its sleeves, revealing his white slender arms. He paired it with sunglasses. He looks like a boy next door.

He exudes his authority but not overbearing. He has gentlemanly air around him.

"Ohh... So you met already?" asked Michele.

"Yeah, just met..." Misha replied casually. Lyndon did not react.

"You really looked good together." complimented Rodora. "Come on sit." she ushered the two.

Lyndon's mom welcomed Misha with a hug and introduced Albert to her. "Good afternoon, sir." she greeted him. "Don't call me sir, just call me father..." Albert said then smiled at her. She was taken aback with the attitude of her future in-laws.

"Then if you insist father." she corrected herself and smiled back at him. Albert is somewhat convinced with her attitude.

'She can present herself well.' he thought. He smiled at her then nodded.

"Come on let's eat. The food is already here." Rodora said grabbing her son's hand. As the waiters laying different dishes on the table, they continued to converse.

"So, what do you do with your free time Misha?" asked Rodora casually while having a bite with the shortcake.

"Hmm... I do sports, and also I love horseback riding." she answered energetically.

"Wow... As expected of my future daughter-in-law, you really are extra ordinary." Rodora applauded her eagerly. She's so happy when she learned about it because it was also Lyndon's hobbies. She smiled cheekily to Michele and Shane. The other couple smiled back at her. They were too busy eating the desserts and completely forgotten about the others existence.

Judging from their situation, it was just Rodora who keeps talking to the other party and they did not reciprocate. Rodora frowned. She's thinking about how Lyndon can be interested in Misha. She's like a fairy god mother who likes to ship.

Rodora and Mich continued their topic. Soon after, they decided to leave with their husbands and find another table to sit in. They did that for the new couple could talk. But their efforts failed. Misha and Lyndon were much occupied on their own affairs.

Not do they know, they already had an appointment beforehand.

It was the coffee house across the street.

"What do you want?" asked Misha when she was about to sit across him.

"Nothing much, I just want to have an agreement with you." Lyndon said cockily.

"Tsk! I thought so. Well, I have my terms too." said Misha while her arms crossed in her chest.

"Here." Lyndon handed over her a folder.

Misha read the terms and conditions Lyndon laid.

Misha got a ball pen from her pouch and omitted almost his conditions. When she's finally satisfied, she gave back the folder to him and handed hers over. Lyndon was shocked when he saw what she did on his terms and conditions. He gritted his teeth but eventually agreed on her. He opened her folder and just signed at the bottom without checking the contents.

'She's stupid so I guess it's just another petty demands.' he thought.

He gave back her folder and Misha accepted it with a meaningful smile.

'I'll give you a lesson you can't forget in your lifetime!' Misha sneered inwardly. "So I guess it's a deal done?" asked Misha meaningfully and offered a handshake with Lyndon.

"Of course! It's a great deal." Lyndon agreed and accepted her hand.

That's why they were late.
