Misha was still in the darkness. She was still on the sea, floating. It was such a calm sea yet it was scary. She felt like she was being sucked, draining her entire being. She wanted to find someone but it seemed like she was the only one in that place that's full of darkness. Her entire body was exhausted yet she can't rest. She wanted to sleep but it seemed that her mind was really awake.

The operation has long began. They have to perform an open chest surgery. Most of the skilled surgeons were inside the operating room to keep their young Mistress alive. She was the one and only grand daughter of Andrew Lewis, the owner and chairman of Lewis Empire. They did not want to lose their jobs just because of this. They wanted to perform their best during this operation.
Thus, they did not mind whether they will perform such menial tasks inside the operating room as long as they can contribute for her recovery.
The team consisted of 10 surgeons of different specializations. Each one of them is unique and highly skilled in their field of expertise. Many of them went through a real battle between life and death. They were nervous at the same time excited as they wanted to heal the woman who's life would be taken by the reaper anytime. They wanted to prove that they are the best. Nervous because on mishap and they could lose her life like that.
Misha was really in a dire situation. Many times she would flatten her lifeline and she will be revived again. They have to stitch her heart and for them to do so, they have to be efficient in every second count. They have to fasten things up before it will get complicated. They only needed to stitch the heart and the operation will be successful.
The operation went after an hour to 3. Then, three up to eight before the doctors went out from the operating room and declared Misha out of danger. Though, there was still no function in her brain. She's considered by the doctors to be brain dead. She was still under observation and thus she was in the intensive care unit of the hospital. She needed to be strictly observed for 24 hours to see any complications from her surgery.

Lyndon was dreaming. He's calling Misha from a distance. He can clearly see her but he was shackled and could not move. He called Misha out once more but the more he calls her, the more distant her silhouette became.
His dream will shift from her and to Leonard. He saw Leo from a distance so he called him. Leo saw him and walked over to get him. His brother pulled his hand towards the light and he gasped for air.
He's been staring at the white ceiling for a long time now. He cannot utter any words because of the tube that's in his mouth. He tried to move his fingers but did not do so.
A nurse came and checked his vitals. He closed his eyes again and tears flowed out from the corners of his eyes. The nurse that was checking on his vitals was taken aback. She wrote it in her report that the patient shed tears. It was an important improvement. Maybe he will wake up sooner. It's been a week since he was operated and it was also the estimated time that he would wake up.
Lyndon tried to move one of his fingers for the nurse to notice and luckily, she noticed it. She immediately called the doctor in-charge to inspect him.
The doctors sighed relief when the news came to them that one of the patients is waking up. The situation they faced was a challenging one. The week long of constant battle of life and death toughened them up. They could not wait to tell tales about their sudden mission to their subordinates. They can't wait to share to them the lessons they picked up during the entire operation.
The only thing they were worried about was Misha as she was still in the ICU. She was still unconscious and her brain activity still not functioning. They have given her series of test but they cannot point where could have gone wrong. The brain is one of the most complex part of human body thus they cannot fully explain it to the grieving Michele and Shane.
The experts could only point some factors as to why Misha was still in coma. They explained that maybe due to shock and sudden stress of the events, she chose to lock her own brain and dispelled any signals sent by the nerves.
The couple seemed to understand that due to trauma, her brain was locked itself down to avoid remembering something or someone. Moreover, her surgery was successful and there weren't any complication and setbacks. They were thankful enough and could only hope that Misha will wake up sooner.
