Thunderstorms boomed across Japan, gazing towards the U.A. High building was a man wearing a fox mask, his clothes were blood-stained alongside the black blade in his hand.
"Sir... Are you alright?" A voice spoke.
The man kept his motionlessness, "Amatsu, go home. Take care of Mom for me, please. Tell her I'll be okay."
Amatsu stepped forward but stopped as he felt Leonidus' emptiness.
"What happened?" Amatsu asked.
Mikaboshi approached Alyx and put his hand on his shoulder, looking into his memories...
[Three Weeks Later...]
"Alright everyone! The school festival's almost here! I'm super happy with the progress we've been making, this'll definitely steal the show for sure!" Alyx exulted.
The School Festival had been just two days away! The anticipation and excitement around U.A. High was to the moon!
"Alyx, dear, should we get more supplies for the show? I believe we're missing only a few more things." Yaoyorozu wondered.
"Sure, I can stop by someplace to grab 'em. I'll put the list on my phone." He agreed.
Leonidus looked over the list to see what was potentially missing. He noted the items on his phone and put the list in his pocket. Mina approached him rather quickly before he left.
"Hey! Are you sure you don't wanna be a dancer?" Mina questioned.
"I'm sure, I've got a bit of stage fright, so doing the effects stuff is more of my ballgame." Leonidus responded.
Alyx then left to retrieve the supplies, he left U.A. through the main entrance, walking down the giant hill towards Musutafu. Leonidus passed through dense crowds as the town was as busy as ever! As he approached his destination, he saw Pro Heroes guarding the entrance of the shop.
"My goodness!" Someone gasped.
"Huh? What's going on?" Alyx puzzled.
He looked inside the shop to see blood spatter and burn marks all over the place.
"Holy hell..." Alyx muttered.
Leonidus backed away as detectives arrived, he looked to see other hobby stores in the area, one of which was only about 4 miles away. In order to avoid attention, he decided to walk there. He walked for about under an hour before arriving at the shop. He tried to enter the place but the door was locked.
"Closed?! Who closes in the middle of the afternoon?" Alyx huffed.
Leonidus found himself empty handed after several hours of searching for a shop with the materials he needed. He sat down on a bench as he looked at his phone.
"Damn it, it's 8 already! No streamers, confetti, no nothing! I guess I can try tomorrow?" Alyx mumbled.
He activated his Overdrive and hurried back home. As he landed down in front of the dorms, his Quirk deactivated without him doing it. Alyx turned around to see Aizawa standing behind him, he was accompanied by his classmates and All Might.
"Is there something wrong? You all smell upset." Alyx fretted.
"Would you care to explain this?" Shota responded.
Aizawa turned a tablet around, showing Leonidus CCTV footage sent to him by the Hero Public Safety Commission. The first shop he had visited hours prior was being attacked by... Him!
"M-Mr. Aizawa, I... That's not me! You know I wouldn't do something like that!" Alyx defended.
"Your fingerprints were found at the scene, there were dozens of witnesses saying you entered the building around 3:30, conveniently sometime after you left U.A. to gather supplies. A villain had entered the building sometime after, attempting to rob the place, and you got carried away. Why would you do that?" Aizawa continued.
"B-But... I... That wasn't me! I'm telling you, it wasn't me!" Alyx argued.
"The evidence is overwhelming," Iida chimed in, "How could you do something like that behind our backs? You can't tell us you're becoming like your Grandmother..."
Alyx went limp, a coldness rushed throughout his body, he saw the look in each of his classmates' eyes. An overwhelming sense of betrayal washed over him. He took off into the sky away from U.A. From then on, the entire country would be looking for him.
[Present Day...]
Lightning struck, Amatsu opened his eyes to see Alyx was looking back at him, he slowly moved his hand off of his shoulder.
"As you wish... Alyx..." Mikaboshi reluctantly told him.
Amatsu faded away, leaving Leonidus alone on the rooftop. The street lights below him turned on, after a few minutes, the streets were empty. He spotted a woman walking alone, hurrying home to get out of the rain, Leonidus hopped down from the rooftop several feet in front of her. Using her free hand, she pulled out a gun, aiming it at Alyx.
"I-I know how to use this! Don't come any closer!" The woman warned him.
Leonidus took a step forward and the woman closed her eyes, "I-I'm not kidding! I'll shoot you, I won't hesitate either!"
Silence fell once more, the woman opened her eyes to see that Leonidus had adjusted her umbrella.
"You're going to get wet holding your umbrella like that." He deadpanned.
"Wait... You're... You're Foxhound, right?" She asked.
"Yeah, I am." Leonidus nodded.
He turned around and started walking, she followed after him, putting him under her umbrella with her.
"Hang on a second, you're the one who's been killing those small time Villains! I don't really approve of your method, but things have quieted down all across this country, even if it's a little bit." The woman remarked.
"Putting them in prison is the better alternative? Just so they can break out and repeat the process once more? That ideology has been ingrained in everyone's minds, making them weak, making them reluctant to do what truly needs to be done." Alyx answered.
The woman was too stunned to respond, she stayed silent as they approached her home. She stood in front of her door, holding the knob, she looked behind her to see Alyx still standing there.
"I... I'd like you to come in, you sound tired." The woman offered.
"I'm fine." Alyx replied.
"No, no, I insist! Please, come in." The woman rejoined.
Leonidus stood there for a bit before entering her home. She closed the door behind him and hung up her umbrella.
"My name is Ruka Sumiko, I should've introduced myself earlier, but I didn't think you were walking me home. Please, make yourself at home, okay?" Ruka informed him.
Alyx took off the bandages around his arms, revealing cuts of different sizes, he placed the blood stained bandages in the trash next to him. He then took off his mask, setting it on the counter. Ruka slightly gasped as he turned to look at her.
"N-No way... L-Leo... Leonidus?" She marveled.
She looked at the drained, tired, emotionless expression on his face. His eyes bore nothing, devoid of any life. Ruka dropped everything she had in her hands, even though she was a complete stranger, she didn't hesitate to hug him. Her eyes remained widened as she listened to Alyx's slow heartbeat.
"You're just a kid, what happened to you?" Ruka wondered.
Ruka felt her right sleeve dampen a bit, she looked up to see Alyx held his same expression, blood dripped down his eyes instead of tears.
"Everything... Everything was taken from me." He told her.
Ruka then recalled what she saw on the news, Leonidus' reputation had been ruined, Sumiko was a firm believer in Alyx. The entire country was after him, but they haven't had much luck since he went missing weeks after being expelled from U.A.
"I don't believe a single thing that they say, you aren't a murderer, you never would hurt innocent people." Sumiko responded.
Alyx gently pushed her away from him, she looked at his cut up arms. Ruka picked her things up and set them on the counter next to his mask. He followed her into her living room, he sat down on a chair, staring at his arms.
"May I ask... What did you do to your arms?" Ruka questioned.
"Each Villain I've killed, I've marked on myself, not to keep score either. It's punishment for allowing myself to have let them live another second on this planet." He explained.
Ruka didn't say anything, silence was yet again shared between the two.
"How old are you?" Alyx asked.
"Oh, I'm 19. If you're wondering, I don't have a useful Quirk, I've got flashlights on the palms of my hands. I mainly work an office job for a company my Dad owns." She informed him.
"I see." Alyx nodded.
"Do you have parents? Any siblings? Friends?" Ruka inquired.
Leonidus wiped his eyes, "I only have my Mother, older Brother and Sister, and my little Sister. My Father was killed by the League of Villains. No, I don't have any friends except for the ones I left back in America."
Ruka noticed a faint anger in his last sentence. Meanwhile, back at the Leonidus' Residence, Amatsu was watching the latest report on Leonidus' alter ego, Foxhound.
"Thankfully, he doesn't harm innocents. I would've stepped in before he had the chance to do that, Marie." Mikaboshi reassured her.
"I just want him back home, that's all I want. I know he would never have done something like that. God knows where he's at... Amatsu, I need you to take me to him, please." Marie lamented.
"I-I'm not so sure about-" Mikaboshi stuttered.
Marie glared at him, Amatsu gently held out his hand, the two teleported out of the room and onto the rooftop where Amatsu had left Leonidus.
"I thought I said you could go home, Amatsu." Alyx restated.
"You did, Alyx." Marie spoke for him.
Alyx looked back to see his teary eyed Mother standing next to Mikaboshi. He slowly took his mask off, letting it drop on the ground. Marie ran over to her son and hugged him tightly.
"You shouldn't have to do this, I'm so sorry, my baby." Marie softly wept.
Alyx hugged his Mother back, "It's okay... I just want things to go back to normal, just as much as you do, Mom. But I don't know if they ever will."
"It is only a matter of time, you know? Before you confront them again." Mikaboshi mentioned.
"Then I'll send them a message. Things will come to an end, regardless of what that end might be. I've been trying to track down who could've possibly framed me, but I haven't had much luck." Leonidus replied.
"What'll you do when they find you, Alyx?" Marie wondered.
Alyx walked over and picked his mask up, shaking it off before looking back towards Amatsu and his Mother.
"The one thing I know best: Fight 'em." Alyx smiled.
"Just be careful, okay? Once your done I want you home. I love you, Alyx." Marie told him.
"Yeah, I love you too, Mom." Alyx nodded.
The two faded away, Leonidus looked down at his mask then put it on. Several miles away on Tartarus, Arlen Vibraine had turned himself in willingly, wishing to speak with Eraser Head.
"I don't understand it, he simply waltz on in and demanded to be put in a cell, then requested to speak with you." The Warden informed Shota.
"Sounds like some sort of trap, this Vibraine, he was a part of Daniela's group, right? He might have some sort of scheme in mind. I'll be down there with Midnight and Present Mic here in a moment." Aizawa responded.
"Indeed, he's rather antsy, so I implore that you hurry." The Warden told him.
Aizawa hung up and contacted Nemuri and Yamada to meet him at Tartarus. As he drove, he observed all of the Foxhound merchandise in some of the shops he passed by.
"Just who are you?" He thought aloud.
Since Leonidus' disappearance and the emergence of Foxhound, crime during the night has dropped a total of 15%. A sense of fear ran through Japan whenever nightfall came. Shota arrived at Tartarus alongside Nemuri and Yamada, the three entered the prison, they were guided by the warden to Arlen's cell. Vibraine had perked up as the three entered the cell.
"Ah! Welcome, welcome! I see you've brought some buddies, Eraser!" Arlen beamed.
"What do you want? I've got students to teach." Aizawa retorted.
"Students... That's right, I do recall a certain incident regarding one of your students, he's one of my buddies actually! Alyx, you remember him right? That annoying little brat with the scar on his eye?" He answered.
"He's a murderer, I couldn't believe it myself. What about him?" Aizawa agreed.
Arlen began to laugh at his comment, "Good one Eraser! Ooo! Here's a funny thing about that... He was never there..."
Arlen's hair fell over his face as he began cackling. He shot his head up, revealing a face that looked exactly like Leonidus'!
"Boo! Hahahaha!! How's this for ya! Don't I look dashing?!" He cackled.
"You... But that doesn't explain his fingerprints!" Present Mic exclaimed.
"You really are as dumb as you look! If I can replicate his face, I can replicate everything about him! Let me tell you a little secret, that boy, he's mental state is already shattered. The poor sap lost his first love in that Vegas incident years ago, he hasn't been the same since! But then you take everything he loved away from him again... How broken do you think he is now? It's making me excited just thinking about it! What say you, Eraser Head? Will you be content with knowing YOU caused this?" Arlen smiled.
Vibraine stood up from his chair and bowed, "That was all I needed to see, that face of fear, it was beautiful. I bid you good day, try not to die, will you? The show's just starting!"
His laugh echoed throughout the room as he disappeared. Aizawa quickly ran out of the room, Midnight and Present Mic followed behind him.
"What have we done?" Aizawa muttered.
"I'll let the students know that we need to search for him! I've had no luck with contacting Fourth Gear or her Brother." Midnight relayed.
As they left Tartarus, dozens of buildings were on fire in the distance, Present Mic looked at the alert on his phone. In that span of time, dozens of criminals were being round up by Foxhound, he then set the buildings ablaze all over Japan! Standing in the rubble was Leonidus, a minor Pro Hero stood in front of him with his hand out.
"Stop right there, Foxhound! You're under arrest! Stand down, now!" He shouted.
"Stand down for what reason? For wiping the streets clean of criminals? These buildings are abandoned, my goal is only to send a message to those daring enough to confront me. I chose some of these buildings for a reason." Alyx monotoned.
A live broadcast of the situation revealed that the fires had written a message, "Come Find Me, Nonbelievers", seemingly goading his former classmates. The Pro Hero lunged towards Alyx, he appeared behind the Hero, knocking him unconscious with one blow. Leonidus faded away, appearing in Ruka Sumiko's living room, she jumped as he appeared right in front of her.
"All of those buildings were evacuated, right?" Ruka asked.
"They were abandoned, yes, all of them were empty. I escorted any homeless out of there beforehand." Leonidus responded.
"Thank goodness," She gave a sigh of relief, "All of this to send a message... At least you didn't harm anyone. So, what now?"
"They'll know where to find me, if they decide to look. I'll be more than ready for them. I figured I should check in with you before I leave." He told her.
Ruka nodded at him, he disappeared once more, arriving at his destination. He stood in front of the giant statue of All Might, Alyx crossed his arms as he stood there and waited. As hours passed, there was not a single sign of Class A, but he still stood in place. Unmoving and remaining silent to those that called out to him. The next day arrived, that's when he saw them coming towards him. Eraser Head accompanied his students, staring down Foxhound, Endeavor and other Pros accompanied them as well.
"So, you're the fuckhead that caused those fires? You look fucking stupid! Why waste our time with this shit?" Bakugo mocked.
"Kacchan... Why would you go through the trouble of burning those buildings down, what did you have to gain from it? Tell us!" Izuku questioned.
"What did I gain? I gained your attention. Those buildings were devoid of life until I burned them, the screams of those Villains was rather satisfying, was it not? Then again, I guess you wouldn't understand at all." Leonidus answered.
"You're sick, you're just as bad as a Villain!" Kirishima chimed in.
Leonidus looked over at her, "Is that so, Red Riot? That's humorous..."
Alyx placed his hand on his mask, he slowly took it off, revealing his face. Everyone was stunned to see that Leonidus was behind the mask!
"...Given that I've become what you've all called me. You call me a Villain, when all I've done is kill the people that harm this place, where's the sense in that? Or are you too afraid to admit the truth, that my methods work, that they save lives by taking away those that don't deserve them? Even so, none of you would believe me, just like you did before." Alyx replied tartly.
"It wasn't you, Leonidus! Vibraine told us everything!" Present Mic shouted to him.
"You think I care about that now? You've thrown me out, cast me aside even after knowing damn well I wouldn't commit such an act. All I care about is getting my revenge, you should've listened to me. I'll take you all on." Leonidus continued.
Aizawa's eyes lit up, "Leonidus, that's irrational, stand down no-"
Alyx slammed his fist into Shota's jaw at full force, rendering him unconscious, steam rose off of his fist.
"Don't tell me what's irrational after 𝒚𝒐𝒖 were the one to jump to conclusions." Alyx fumed.
Leonidus slowly put his arm down, his Quirk wasn't active, but he held enough force to easily knockout Aizawa. He turned around to face Class A and the other heroes.
"What are you waiting for? If you kill me, you'll be doing me a favor." Alyx taunted.
The stage was set for a gigantic battle! With Eraser Head out of the picture, could anyone put a stop to the overwhelming powerhouse that was Alyx Leonidus?! Would this be the day Alyx finally goes over the edge and kills his former friends?
