totally, the fun part is that the MC still has no idea on what's actually going on. The next chapters will also show just how bad the situation is for the MC, hehehe. P.S. Somewhat of a spoiler but I just wanted to say it - Sometimes people just a bit too- cocky, especially when they think everything is under THEIR control. Then when things get out of hand and the situation goes south real fast, only then will they realize how stupid, naïve and powerless they truly are.

Well... I wanted to use the netflix series as a basis but the timelines really don't match up all too well. If the netflix series timeline is to be followed Fisk should not even be a big name yet. I chose to create a weird version of comic Fisk, I wanted to make him the first villain in the arc but then I realized how much problems would come in the future if Fisk is given even a chance to analyze and understand Giotto. So I chose to use him as a springboard, completely eliminate his character and instead use a modified version of 616 miles in his place.

Finally! Someone asked this question, later chapters would have made people question why the MC claimed to not be rich when his family has tons of assets but I'll insert it here. I did not explain it since I hoped readers would ask this question and I get the chance to address it! Haha! Anyway, this dialogue was born after I read an article about rich vs wealthy, so the MC's family is wealthy not rich. They spend lavishly at times but they usually leave way below their means. Most of their income is invested in either real estate or stocks. On the matter of real estate, this is a spoiler by the way- The MC's family would be shown to own multiple properties but none of which are mansions or multimillion dollar homes. Instead they have countryside estates with farmhouses etc. Probably, the most lavish thing the family has is the "vehicle that was left to MC".
