Back then, I did not have paper to draw with, nor brushes or paint or crayons. How could I have ever dreamed of adding color to a life that had been filled with the pain of there never being enough food on the dinner table and there never being enough time in other's lives for me to be relevant? Would parents cover their children's eyes, protecting their innocence from the childhood I don't remember? Would they forget all about it in one day? Dr. Intelligent walked towards his security camera computer. He grabbed his chair and sat down. Even there, he could see everything in the city, including James Evion and his amazing life. In the cameras, there were lots of people and kids buying and eating macaroni. The houses were mostly yellow and macaroni-themed. The streets had a scent of cooked pasta as well. The city was very busy. Dr. Intelligent could see children playing ball. Others were watching a puppet show or reading books on how to make the perfect pasta salad. - Jas_mineZ2yrCommenté

Great descriptions! It tells us so much about the setting haha
It was a simple walk to the park. Loaf and I took the same route every day. Cut through Mrs. McDonald's side yard, shimmy under the broken fence near the school, and wander down past the pond. We always stopped so he could take a slurp of water and bat his paws at the dragonflies. Loaf loved the ducks and would sit while I fed them with bread I stole from my mom's cupboard. X woke up in a cell. The walls were lined with some sort of metal and there were no windows. The bars were plasma pulses that glowed red, reflecting onto the metal, giving the room an amber glow. A bot walked in armed with a plasma baton. X could tell he was of higher rank because of his gold plating at the shoulders, almost looking like built-in epaulettes. - Jas_mineZ2yrCommenté
Does this mean that the bots (and whoever is controlling them) are only interested in X? Or did I just miss something😭😭
He knew better though. K wasn't going to be able to kill these bots. Not this time. X couldn't risk both of them dying. I don't want to lose you, too. I don't want to lose you, he thought as the bot put a metal cover on his mouth. X felt a needle puncture his neck. His brother pounded on the window. X thought he heard a scream. The bots were speeding up and soon they were right beside the motorcycle. They hovered steadily trying to snag the bike with a grappling hook. K readied his gun and shot some bots down, but more kept coming. - Jas_mineZ2yrCommenté

The two-thousand story Obelisk stood in the middle of the grand city of Nirvana. Gathered there were the War Generals of the All Worlds. The skyscrapers surrounding the Obelisk cast massive shadows into the war room, where a heated discussion was taking place.
