Xavier had sitting at the base of the tower for some time, trying to decide the optimal time to rest his mind and then enter. Or that was what he was saying to himself. In reality, he was scared. What if something like that maze, or even worse, an extension of this same maze awaited beyond? The maze had already made him feel ways he couldn't have imagined he could ever feel. Was to yell out at the top of his lungs, pouring over all his heart and soul. The maze had taken him 100,000 hours to solve, without resting for a single second. All that time with no food, no change in scenery, no social interaction broke him bit by bit. That vent was not just him cursing the maze, but also a reassurance to him that he was still 'alive', his soul was still 'alive'. - _KAIZER_1dCommenté
Maybe he can save her in this timeline at least for some peace of mind. It's nice to see his morals weren't all gone in his old life. Although i guess he was fighting for the people in his own way
Lust, the sin of those bastards who captured and committed atrocities against the high elven princess, igniting the start of the Bloody Interspecies War. Our reputation amongst the other species was already extremely bad, but I guess seeing the defiled corpse of that poor girl was the final straw. I can still remember vomiting and not being able to eat for days after seeing her rotten, defiled corpse. Her followers came to me to hire me for their revenge, and at the time I was a pretty famous criminal. I remember breaking out the criminals who were given life sentences in a tame prison just because they were influential and handing them over to the victim's loved ones. Hmm it seems the hero also regressed. He must have looked at the imperial archive to find out where the book was but to take it away means he basically condemned the MC (If he didn't have his memories) to death when he would have been a powerful ally.

Wow what a first chapter. It was amazing to read it really drew me in. I do hope that his morals don't change fully though. Maybe he will change his mistakes but i hope he doesn't turn into the righteous idiot trope since his hard and desperate life has moulded him. Maybe a more anti hero persona like his old life. Thanks for the chapter.

Do they have some way to test for a djin? Won't trying to act like another person bring more problems since he could easly slip up his act. Acting normal and going through a lie detector and a djin test could be good for him as it would set him free of allegations. At worst it could be mistaken as multiple personalities. No problem come back to it if or when you feel inspired again I'll keep reading both books. I really enjoy reading this book since you can feel how meticulous and careful you have been with it and the grammar is superb and the characters have genuine depth. keep up the good work on both novels.

You keep using finn when it should be Jett it is extremely confusing. It may be best to rewrite this with the correct names. Also some parts are duplicates
