I love how he makes memories for a living but can't receive them.

And the fact that we have these resources produced and brought to us, skilled laborers to build, and the shear scale of the task is what makes it monumental. Each of the world's wonders was built using the cutting edge technology and most skilled laborers each civilization had at the time. The biggest reason why people refute modern constructs is simply because we are alive to see it happen.

I still believe that the modern roadways are an incredible feat of engineering on the level of the great pyramid and the great wall.
