Empty Handed

The sound of the communication device woke Luke in the middle of his sleep. Luke took a communication device not far from his bed which was located on a wooden table next to his bed.

"Hello..." The man who was still half awake said

"Why are you still sleeping, Luke?" Said a girl who was calling Luke.

"What's going on this early in the morning, Charlotte?" Luke asked slowly starting to sit on the edge of his bed rubbing his eyes.

"The Captain told us to come to his room…"

"Why don't you just ring my doorbell, Charlotte?" Asked Luke who slowly started to get up from his bed and opened the curtains of his bedroom and the morning light dazzled the man's eyes.

"I've rang the bell of your room several times, but you seem to be sleeping too soundly." Charlotte replied in a slightly annoyed tone.

"Is that so…"

"Only you and uncle are not in this room yet." said Charlotte.

"Okay, I'll be right there." said Luke.
