Drum Kingdom

The next day

When we gather together at the kitchen to eat breakfast, all of us were there except for Nami.

"Where's Nami?" I asked Vivi since she slept together with Nami last night.

"Still sleeping, she said she's not feeling well today" Vivi aswering my question while looking at me.

Suddenly I remember the plot in the anime and left the kitchen to check on Nami straight away.

When I see her lying weakly on the bed while shivering, I know my guess was right. I began to check her up medically and the result is the same with the disease from the anime.

(My medical skill still has low level since it's very hard to grind)

She got a deadly fever from a virus that she caught during our journey in Little Garden island.

So I ran to the kitchen and tell the rest of the crews about her condition.

"Nami is very sick right now, my medical skill can't cure her disease. We need to find a real doctor immediately or she will die." I said to my friends at the kitchen.

"WHAT???" They all shout together.

"Dan you're not kidding right?" Vivi asked me.

"I'm deadly serious right now. I guess she was bitten by a prehistoric insect in Little Garden and got the virus from the insect's bites." I said to them.

"Is Nami going to die?" Ussop and Sanji asked me at the same time while crying.

"She will if we don't find a real doctor soon" I said to them all.

"Vivi go to Nami's room and stay beside her to accompany her" Zoro said to Vivi.

"Yes, I will" Vivi said while running back to Nami's room.

"We will bring her to the doctor! Find the nearest island and start sailing at full speed." Luffy said with serious face.

After that we all start sailing at full speed to find the nearest island.

"Luffy, you can't let anything delay our ship to find the doctor" I said to Luffy.

"I know, Nami is our priority right now" Luffy said to me.

"Good, if somehow there are problems that can hinder our journey. Just let me handle it alone, while this ship should never stop sailing to find an island" I said.

"Okay, I know you can follow us later with geppo after you deal with the problems" Luffy said to me.

"Yes, that's the plan" I said.

A day later, after we sail with full speed searching for any island nearby. The weather suddenly turn cold and snow start falling from the sky.

"We have arrived at the winter sea, which mean there is an island nearby" I said to my friends.

"Good, keep sailing until we found the island" Luffy said.

Not long after that Zoro spotted someone on the sea. "There is someone standing on water blocking our path" Zoro said to us.

"Keep sailing straight, we don't have enough time to deal with this person. Dan, go and handle that man!" Luffy said to us.

"Okay, but our ship needs to sail around that guy since he is standing on top of a large ship under water" I said knowing full well who the person standing on water right in front of us.

"Okay, sail around that man and keep going at full speed" Luffy said

I jump and dive in to the sea, then I saw a large ship which belong to Wapol start emerging from under the man's feet.

I punch the water right in front of me immediatelly using my advanced fishman karate skill "Rain of Spear Waves", then waves of countless spears made from water with a reddish colour since I coat it with my red haki, start attacking Wapol's ship non stop until I stop the attack.

I don't plan to talk or negotiate with these kind of people since they all left their country to flee and left the villagers there to die under Blackbeard's attack. They also act as a tyrant when ruling Drum Kingdom with cruelty and made the people there to suffer all the time under Wapol's rule.

The attacks destroyed Wapol's ship completely and killed almost everyone in Wapol's ship. The remaining ones that still alive will soon die too in this freezing winter sea. I also saw many holes in Wapol's body and head before he sank to the ocean.

After destroying Wapol's ship, I start heading towards Going Merry again in the distance using geppo.

After my first kill in Little Garden, I already made peace with my inner demon. So right now I don't feel any guilt after killing Wapol and his men. They all deserved to die for all their crimes.

Soon we saw an island that looks like a chain of drums and start heading there. When we reach the shore, suddenly some people start shooting at us thinking we are there to attack their island like Blackbeard.

Luffy blocked all their attacks with his rubber body and yelled at them "We only here to find a doctor to treat our sick friend".

The shooting stop and a man named Dalton start walking towards our ship to check if we are lying or not while his men pointed their guns at us.

After Dalton confirmed that we are speaking the truth, he allowed us to come to the Drum island to find a doctor. He then tells us there is only one doctor left in this Drum Kingdom which is Dr. kureha, while the other corrupt doctors flee with the former King Wapol when Blackbeard attack their island.

"Your former king is dead, He tried to attack our ship at the ocean with his men so I destroyed their ship killing them all" I said to Dalton.

"What??" Dalton said and thinking in silent for a while and start talking "He was our king but he acts like a tyrant that make our people suffer under his cruel rules".

"So he deserved to die anyway" I said to him.

"I can't justify killing but I guess he got his well deserved karma" Dalton said to us.

"Can you take us to see the doctor now?" Luffy asked Dalton.

"Okay, I will take you there my self" Dalton said.

Then we start walking towards Dr. kureha's place. She lives in Drum Castle, which is on top of the highest of the "Drum Rockies", a chain of drum shaped mountains.

During our journey to Dr. Kureha's place we got attacked many times by the Lapahns, giant ferocious rabbits that live in the mountain. Our crew defeat them all easily without killing them, since these creatures just trying to protect their home.

When we reach the top we saw a large castle "Drum Castle" covered in snow. Dalton then told us we have arrived at Dr. Kureha's place.

Dalton then went inside to meet Dr. Kureha and tell her that one of our crew is sick and needs a doctor to cure the disease. He also tell her that Wapol is now dead while trying to attacked them at sea.

Dr. Kureha then look at our crew for a while and says "Bring the sick one to that room" while pointing at one of the room inside the castle. "Chopper go with them and treat her disease well" She talk to a weird cute reindeer wearing a hat in the room.

"That reindeer can talk?" Luffy and Ussop asked at the time with stars in their eyes.

"Yes, he is my assistant. He is also the doctor that will treat your friend" She said to us.

"Cool, what is his name?" I asked her pretending not to know him while watching Sanji carrying Nami inside the room along with Chopper.

"His name is Tony Tony Chopper" She told us.

While we wait for Chopper to treat Nami inside the room. Dr. Kureha told us about the history of Drum Kingdom and also Chopper's life history. She also told us to bring him with us since we need a doctor in our ship. She also thanks us for making Wapol pays for his crimes in hell. "Many people in this kingdom died under his cruel rules" She said.

Luffy is happy that he can finally have a doctor on his ship.

The rest of the crews also happy hearing the good news.

Dr. Kureha said we need to invite Chopper our selves, since she will pretend not allowing Chopper to join our crew. She says Chopper doesn't trust human easily, so she welcome us to stay in the castle until Chopper agrees to go with us.

So we all stays in the castle until Nami is back being healthy again and spend two more days until Luffy finally manages to convinced Chopper to join our crew.

A little bit history about Chopper

When Chopper was younger, he ate the Hito Hito no Mi. As a result, and because of his blue nose, the other reindeer would not accept him into their herds. He was an outcast for much of his life. Finally, he found a friend in a Dr. Hiriluk, a quack doctor that was trying to cure the people of Drum but usually made a mess of things. He found Chopper with bullet wounds in his back. By curing Chopper, he gained Chopper's trust and inspired Chopper to become a doctor. However, their friendship was not to last. Dr. Hiriluk kicked Chopper out of his home, seemingly for no reason. Later, Chopper found out that Dr. Hiriluk was going to die in ten days. Despite his attempts to save him, the good doctor sacrificed him for the sake of Chopper and his country. Since then, he has stayed with Dr. Kureha, and learned the art of doctoring.

After Chopper agrees to join us, he then goes to tell Dr. Kureha about this, but Dr. Kureha flat out refuses to let him leave (She already told us about her plan), chasing after the reindeer with a variety of weapons until Chopper escapes down the mountain with the rest of us on a sled.

Dr. Kureha's refusal was all an act (or in a way, reverse psychology) to convince Chopper to leave as she does not like tearful goodbyes. Dr. Kureha then has most of the villagers set up cannons pointed into the air and uses the "cure for the country's cold heart" that Dr. Hiriluk had developed before he died, to produce the image of falling cherry-blossoms on the snow, as a send off to her beloved student.

Straw Hats pirate now has Luffy, Dan, Zoro, Nami, Ussop, Sanji and Chopper as it's fix members and two temporary members Igaram and Vivi.

After witnessing the incredible show made by Dr. Kureha and the people of Drum Kingdom, we then finally continue our journey to Alabasta.
