A man

“Today your first shot is a stunt scene, I've already called your stunt double,” Asst. Director said, approaching me when I was reading my script for today’s schedule. William is the Assistant director of this project, and we are rarely on good terms, since our last movie together, as I’m not habitual to handle tantrums.

“No need for a stunt double, I'll be doing it myself, today” I replied bluntly.

“Are you sure, you can do that?” he asked me with raised brows.

I stand up from my chair throwing the script on the table ahead of me.

“Oh what to do, I’m goddamn sure!.... I'll be doing it myself,” I replied, with an elevated chin, putting my hands in my pant's pocket.

“Okay, as you say, but I'm a little worried about you,” he said, with a scoff.

“You know what? I’m not that newcomer now,” I continued.

“And if you want to keep working on this project, you should find a way to get in my good books,” I replied with a smile, before leaving.

“So, Mr. William, you like the stunt?” I asked, meeting his gaze.

“Oh, you’re so good today,” William replied with a forced smile, and continued.

“How about scene twenty-three stunt.”

“I’m very interested in seeing how you're gonna to do it?” he said, raising his brows.

“This is dangerous,” Ivy said, meddling.

“I can manage, don’t worry,” I replied.

“And change this cable, it's unstable, william!”

"I think you should, at least manage these things," I said, meeting his gaze.

“What if you fail?” William asked after me.

“What? If I fail, you’re gonna do the stunt instead of my body double if you want to continue being on the project,” I asked with a lopsided grimace.

“Really!” he mumbled, with a red face.

“Don't worry, I'm just joking,” I replied with a sly smile.

“Okay, everyone listen! Just get the costumes and harness ready for scene twenty-three,” he ordered the crew member.

“And the scene is~ you’re going to jump from the third floor of the building, and before coming down to the ground, you’ll do a backflip in the air and then all you’ve to do is a smooth landing on a moving car’s roof, and try to be in a composed state as much as possible,” he said while patting on my back.

“Of Course what an easy task,” I replied, with a forced smile.

“Maybe! I should have just killed myself,” I thought after he explained the scene.

When I was standing on the terrace, I took a deep breath as I looked down, over to the floor, and double-checked whether my harness is locked or not?

“Oh Jesus please!, I’m also your child,” I mumbled, exhaling heavily.

“Scene Twenty-three, take one, and action....,” William’s voice thundered through his mike, and everyone’s eyes were stuck over to me.
