"HOW IT ALL STARTED..."
THE NWABUAGU MANOR
-15TH OF NOVEMBER 2010-
The night was young, calm, bright and serene for above in all the full glory of twilight, the night gleamed softly with the myriads of glittering stars. It's glimmer was a result of the thousand and one glittering stars that graced its dark gray colour. They were morassing and entrancing, sparkling brightly, shining sedulously and enchantingly, a very rare and beautiful sight to behold, seemingly oblivious to whatever was unfolding beneath its catchy splendor, it's blueish gray expanse. Whatever it was, it was a far cry from beautiful, a scream deserving sight which was horribly honed to disaster. It was horrendously marvelling scene, playing out under the appealing sky -who in turn was unperturbed, nonchalant by it- without a single care in the whole wide world, oblivious to it's huge bone eroding impact on the witnesses who stared wide eyes at the disturbing mishap. It seemed as if it turned a blind eye to the horrifying nauseating scene playing out underneath it in a certain haunted place. That certain place was none other than the Nwabuagu Manor. The Manor was quiet despite it all, an eerie silence that could have killed a scared cat.
It was a scene painted by darkness with huge scoops of horror, death and inevitable doom, looming yet descending simultaneously, possessing its site, swaddling it totally like some depraved ghoul. It was a scene that eradiated chaos and catastrophe, vivid and livid, like a gruesome nightmare that left its viewer shivering from nasty chills of fear. It was the Nwabuagu Manor. It was a haunted dark castle, full of evil, constantly packed full, overloaded with impending ominous doom, catastrophe and chaos. But now, that impendence, it had finally been unbitten, unleashed, creating unexplainable catastrophe. It had thoroughly unbalanced whatever semblance of little balance that had been existing in that condescending harrow. Nine pairs of eyes -that is excluding the perpetrator, the Eris- stared at the disturbing mishap that had occurred with emotions of varying wavelengths and intensity swirling vividly through their heads as tension cocooned the ungodly sight and calcinated them all with overflowing fear. They looked on, shocked, tensed and thoroughly scared out of their wits at the red defilement of their swimming pool with some unable to perform the act of locomotion much less function.
The large swimming pool which was void of anyone was quickly turning into a blood bath from the amount of thick red blood flowing into it. The blood wendied into it, slowly and succinctly diffusing but quickly discolouring the once pure water, defiling it. The ten pairs of eyes all belonged to the feminine gender. They were staring, shocked and greatly perturbed by it all. Eight out of the ten women were barely dressed, being clad in the most flimsy of swim wears, barely managing to conceal about a quarter of their womanly assets. The remaining two were properly dressed. They looked odd and obviously out of place, and that was because they had not been invited to the pool party in the first place.
The fright inducing liquid came from a body lying just beside the pool. His head was losing gallons after gallons of his life essential liquid. It poured against the iron bar of the large swimming pool. One of the two odd looking women stared at her palms in obvious horror. She inspected every inch of the pale skin with her eyes over and over again although she knew that it was completely void of blood before she had even looked at it. It was clean and spotless. Yet, she knew that every single drop of that red quintessential liquid called blood that glowed out of the lifeless body was on her palms, on her. She stepped back, once, twice, suddenly shaken as the reality humongously dawned on her, causing her to realise the gravity of what she had done and the kind of punishment that she would have to bear.
'I killed him,' she whispered almost inaudibly as she shuddered at the horrific sight of death for the first time since she had stood there. 'I killed him,' she reapeted. 'I killed him! I am a murderess!' she yelled at the top of her lungs, wanting the whole wide world to know so. 'I killed him,' she announced again turning to the others. 'I did kill him,' she said to the persons present. Her voice had dropped several notches. One of them nodded at her. Then, she smirked quite evilly at them. A wicked laugh followed and in that moment she looked as if she had been possessed by a great horrible and merciless demon that escaped from the abyss, a demon called Eris. She continued to laugh, ruthlessly, mirthlessly like an insane maniac, a demented psycho, an insatiated masochist. Her face hardened after a while. It became deadpan, serious, deadly and dangerous. 'I killed him,' she repeated once again but this time as calm as untroubled waters, with conviction. It sounded like freedom, sweet and undeniable. She was unafraid or piqued of the worst to come because to her and to all who stood there, the worst had just gone by...
