The beauties of Sand City

In the moist foggy wetlands, Sarcos just got Sienna's letter. It was about King Aiden attacking Sand City. It stated she went to Sharchan and put Marco in charge of defence. Sarcos just read it with Ramse who was curious as well.

"What are you going to do?"Ramse asked him worriedly.

"Nothing, my queen did well. Besides, I'm the Crystal Scorpion now, any soldier who has me in his heart will be invincible," Sarcos smiled and write the note back; "Do what my queen and King Marco say. Any soldier who has me in his heart will be invincible." and sent it with a new falcon.

"Do you think they will win over Aiden and his allies?"Ramse asked curiously.

"It will be a blood bath."Sarcos nodded his head."Aiden picked a very bad time to attack."Sarcos explained." Marco is a butcher. He doesn't like to play fights. He will instruct his men just to go for a clean kill."

"So you will not go back?"Ramse still tried to turn his head around it.

"I gave my word. We still have a few weeks to train Mathyas."Sarcos nodded.

"Will you let him go off?"Ramse bit his lips.

"Only when his heart is red, with no black splodges. I want a complete transformation to be satisfied." Sarcos grinned his face uncomfortably." But the final decision is up to you ." he looked at him seriously.

As the darkness crept over Sand City, Aiden and Lionell decided to start their attack. The lions broke in into the City Gate quite easily.

"This will be a piece of cake to take over. Without Sarcos, the city is just weak."Lionell chuckled. He watched the invasion fights from the air next to Aiden, flying on one of his Dark Eagles.

The Sand City was decorated lavishly and the veiled females were dancing in the circle at the Forum. The men stood around them, laughed, chatted and clapped rhythmically.

"Look, they have so much fun, they did not even notice we broke in! How can they be so stupid?"Lionell asked in unbelief.

"Well, you see it."Aiden also shook his head and watched how big groups of lion soldiers broke thru the gates and run to the Forum. Lionell's armies were pouring in, causing what looked like utter chaos!

The scorpions were caught unprepared and run in panic to hide at the sight of strong lions inside the houses and under the bridges!

The females were panicking and gathered in the middle of the Forum. Their colourful veils shine bright. Around them, a wall of scorpion warriors arose.

The lions ran excitedly for the covered females. The scorpion soldiers got scared and run for their lives, trying to hide in surrounding houses!

The females screamed in terror in high pitch voices and tried to disperse and hide too. The soldiers ran into mids of them excitedly and mixed with them. They grabbed the females by their waists ready to lift them to their strong shoulders, but fell down dead with cut throats! The females looked around shocked and fled from the dead soldiers screaming and running thru the city in desperation!

"Look at the little bunnies running."Lionell smiled cheekily."His hunting mode was on!"

"Did he not notice his dead soldiers?"Aiden furrowed his brows suspiciously as he watched a few big groups of lion soldiers just standing in surrounding streets near the bridges who did not move at all. They were stuck in deep melted asphalt and were dead already!

The swarms like smaller groups of veiled females ran around the city in panic leaving a trail of dead soldiers behind them. It was no females, but Rem's and Marco's best-trained soldiers' assassins! The lion soldiers just followed them as they passed around in colourful veils luring them closer till they end up paying with their lives for it!

The Lion King sent more soldiers in but they lay in pools of blood in minutes after approaching the seemingly scared females.

Aiden stared puzzled." Something is off with those females!" he furrowed his brows."It does not look like those females are fighting at all! Your soldiers are falling dead as they try to lift them up. Are they so heavy, that your lions collapse or what? What is going on?"Aiden was mocking Lionell a little bit worried. His takeover did not look so well yet, as he imagined it!

"Those females look kind of big next to the lions, almost even in size, but Sienna is not that big." Aiden thought and started to laugh."It is her! She resulted to trickery!" he chuckled."My little White Queen." Aiden laughed entertained watching dead lions lining the streets!

Lionell was not very satisfied, but he wanted those females badly. His men were not able to snatch even one female yet and he lost already half of his army!

"Send your eagles to pick that ferocious females. I will breed them with my men," asked Lionell smacking his lips.

"Are you blind? "Aiden turned to him."They are not females! The queen had her men dressed up in women's clothes..." he chuckled.

"Engage the fire arrows," Aiden ordered his men coldly."There are no real females in that city, we might just destroy it."

"What a disgrace!"Lionell watched upset. He lost hundreds of men for nothing."You will pay me for it Scorpion Queen!"

"Don't you dare to hurt her! She is beautiful and kind, but she is clever."Aiden chuckled." I want her for myself."

"You too ?"Lionell stared at him.

"Sure. She is worth everything. She is like an entertaining puzzle I like to uncover. "Aiden nodded dreamily. He felt that Sienna made those surprise cheat tricks thru the city just for him!"She wanted to revenge a little for selling her."Aiden chuckled."It probably made her furious because she likes me." he was so overconfident in himself!

Lionell shook his head at the sneaky Dark Eagle King and turned to watch the burning Sand City. But the scorpions got water ready and dark smoke was raising high to the sky instead of flames!

Lionell grinned upset and noticed how some of his soldiers went inside the houses but did not come out. His soldiers were disappearing under the bridges and near sewers almost instantly! It was looking as if Sand City devoured them by itself!

Marco promised a bloodbath and he delivered it. The streets of Sand City were covered in blood. Lion bodies laying everywhere. Aiden was keeping his men safe and used mostly lions to fight in the city!

"I think it was not such a good idea after all."Aiden turned to Lion King. Lionell had five men left, his bodyguards, who were waiting for him in front of the city!

"King Marco had too many soldiers hiding in the houses."Aiden sighed."It looks like his soldiers are invincible for some reason as well." he furrowed his brows.

"Deploy all archers, my men are dead anyway!"Lionell raged.

Aiden signalled his archers to shoot but the arrows somehow kept missing the scorpion soldiers, it was as if they magically changed directions!

"What is that?"The Lion King called and took a bow from Aiden's man. Lionell was a very good archer, so he was sure to hit someone, but he missed as well.

"Magic."Aiden chuckled.

"We were betrayed!"Lionell realized and let the bow fall on the ground, hitting one of his own men by accident.

"Now you have just four soldiers left."Aiden nodded coldly."We should pretend this never happened or you will die of shame." he looked at the Lion King kind of seriously, but he was laughing inside at the proud lion. He knew this war was a killer knife to his huge ego!

"How did the fights finish so fast?"Lionell shook his head in unbelief. He felt kind of naked without his armies. He felt vulnerable and stupid suddenly next to Aiden, who still had most of his men.

"Somehow they knew we are coming."Aiden noted."The queen got them ready and they delivered her a bloody victory. She lost the chess but won the battle." he chuckled crazily."You should say your men died in a magic sandstorm." he noted."You will not look that bad on your return to your kingdom."

"I will revenge so badly on her." Lionell bit his lips.

"Just frighten her a little and give her to me."Aiden chuckled."You can't hurt her or Sarcos will destroy the world for sure."

"How do you know?"Lionell turned to him in surprise.

"I have my sources."Aiden noted." Tell the rest of your men to mate more, you will need more soldiers," he sighed and left the Sand City with his Dark Eagles.

Lionell bit his lips."You will pay me dearly for this, Scorpion Queen!" he gathered his four men. The formerly proud lions ran back into the darkness to their kingdom in utterly humiliating defeat!
