Sir Magnus is plotting

As the king Sarcos was on his way out to his hunting grounds, he noticed a commotion at the City Gates, where Sir Magnus was trying to come in with the message, but guards were holding him. Their order was to apprehend anyone and report to the king first. Sir Magnus was not used to such strict guards, so he caused troubles, hence the guards tied him up together with Voltoire."King Sarcos, I have a message from king Tyrell. "Magnus screamed into the night, hoping the Scorpion King will hear him and will come to his rescue. Sarcos decided to check it out."Sir Magnus, what a pleasure." he smiled darkly."You may release them and give them a room in a tower." Sarcos turned to the guars. He took Tyrell's letter and read it fast. He nodded and went out of the gates."You didn't disappoint me." he told to the guards."Make this city impenetrable and kill all the palm-size wild spiders you encounter tonight." The guards nodded."Good hunt king Sarcos!"They felt so good to have a fair king like him.

The palm-size brown spider ran thru the desert. The night sand moved from its legs rustling. It headed to the tall sand mountain. The spider climbed on the top of it and waited for the right wind. Then he flew on his spider web all the way to the Silver City as the wild spiders do during the end of summer.

He entered king Thurssa's room thru the opened window and started to weave on the silken paper with different-coloured pigments. When he finished, the picture of sleeping beauty with golden hair and long eyelashes appeared on the strange painting. Thurssa just finished his party and went to sleep, when he noticed one of his wild spider spies waiting on top of the table. He picked the painting and looked at it. His thin lips curled up."I want this queen in my collection." he nodded excitedly and went to bed. He stared at that painting till he fell asleep.

Morning Sienna woke up and stretched her arms. She was still dressed in a black silky dress from the night before, so she sat up dizzily and started to take it off. Then she heard a soft knock, so she turned around and saw Sid standing next to the door blushing red."Good morning," she said to him in surprise as she was holding the loose dress on her body. She blushed too as she almost undressed in front of him..."Why are you guarding inside?" she asked curiously."King's orders."Sid replied. Sienna nodded, "Sarcos must have a reason for this."

Sid smiled at her, she was so adorable. Sienna went to the bathroom and had a quick bath, then she quickly sneak back to the room covered in the towel to pick up a dress as she forgot to take it with her. Sid was still there trying not to watch her blushing. This was one of his prettiest mornings. To watch a queen's cute reactions in a towel was so adorable. Sienna put on a sky blue dress with golden embroidery and asked Sid."When is the king coming?"

"He left early morning, he should be back at down. He went to Silver City. King Tyrell wrote him a letter not to take you there." Sid replied.

"Is that a reason why are you in the room with me then?" she asked. Sid nodded."I can go out my queen as you awake now, just scream if you notice any palm-size brownish spider. "Sid said.

Sienna stayed pale."Are any such spiders here, in my room?"She whispered. Sid nodded. "I saw one yesterday, that is why I'm in your room."

"You are protecting me from spiders? "Sienna's eyes teared up. Sid nodded."From anything. "

Sienna felt touched."In that case, you better stay close to me."She said. Let's go to the gardens for a walk."

Sid nodded and followed behind her. Sienna sat in one of Sarco's gazebos in the garden and nibbled from the bowl of fruit he always had ready for her. She look at the blue sky and she felt so happy with Sarcos." Sarcos must be the best man ever." she sighed."He told Sid to protect me even from the spiders, he is unbelievably amazing."Sid heard it and smiled. Who knew such a small thing will make the queen so happy.

Magnus and Voltoire were walking thru the Sand City. They could feel scorpions are watching them. Handsome Voltoire had a few flowers landed on his head from the windows they passed under as some females were showing him their favours. He felt quite good about it. He liked to be wanted. Magnus's mood was icy."King Sarcos left already. We need to move. Let's go to see the queen."Magnus led Voltoire to the Sarco's castle gate. The huge scorpion guards crossed their spears. "Who are you and what do you need in the king's castle?" their booming voices echoed in the rocks."I'm Magnus, the City Head of the Crystal City. We come to visit the queen." Magnus said proudly.

"The queen is to receive no visits till king is back. King Sarcos's direct orders."The guard recited. "Leave for now and try again tomorrow. " Magnus was thinking he would explode. First time in his life, his name and title did not mean anything. In Sand City, only Sarcos was in charge. He never felt so humiliated. He needed to get Sienna to Silver City at all costs." his face turned red and he was about to lash out at the guard, when Voltoire pulled him aside and replied to the huge scorpion.

"Thank you, we will try tomorrow, "Voltoire bowed to the guards and pushed Magnus away."Calm down, we will just take her fly-way." he whispered to Magnus."You mean to kidnap the queen?"Magnus halted.

"What strong words, of course, not. No, we just take her for a little trip today, so she will be not bored." Voltoire smiled cheekily. Magnus nodded.

Sienna was walking in the gardens when a huge vulture approached from the sky. He landed and changed into Voltoire. Sid stood in front of Sienna and attacked him in a second. Voltoire fought back."Stop you two, I know him, he is a friend Sid." she tried to calm the deranged scorpion. They hated vultures."He has no right to be here. He is no tiger, nor snake." Sid pointed.

"I got permission from king Sarcos, don't kill the messenger." cringed Voltoire.

" What message you bring then?"Sienna asked.

"I would like to invite you for a little fly trip," Voltoire said cutely. Sid shook his head."No! Get out!" Voltoire nodded. " As you wish, "he smiled cheekily, changed into a vulture and at a huge speed snatched Sienna up to the sky. " What are you doing Voltoire?"Sienna asked.

" Taking you for a little trip."Voltoire smiled.

"It is not right, take me back, "Sienna called to him.

"I'm happy you like it."Voltoire pretended not to hear her. Sienna tried to call some more and then she gave up. She will have to explain this to Sarcos later.

Sid went straight to report to Rem. Rem went out of the castle to gather a search party when he found Magnus waiting at the castle gates "Please forgive Voltoire, he is a bit young and crazy. He know the queen well and did not want her to get bored. Have no worries, I will chase after them, if you call me one eagle guard, who came with the king, please. I will tell him to bring the queen back."Magnus pleaded sneakily. Rem nodded and arranged for Magnus to leave.

Then Rem wrote a quick letter to Sarcos and send his wild falcon to deliver it.

Sarcos was already in Silver City when he heard his falcon. He noted him to drop the letter at the Silver City gate and send one of his warriors to collect it. He did not trust spiders after knowing they send spies to his castle and wanted to protect his falcon. He knew Silver City had traps set for the birds, able to catch wild birds and bird warriors alike. The scorpion warrior ran back to Sarcos and gave him the letter. Sarcos furrowed his brows. It looked like Voltoire and Magnus had a way how to bring a queen to Thurssa. He ordered some of his warriors to stay out and patrol the city gates. Sarcos went to Spider Castle. Thurssa was waiting for him in his front hall and welcomed him with open arms. Sarcos watched him. This king was too pretentious. Sarcos followed Thursa to his office and gave him the proposed deals. Thurssa picked the papers and look at Sarcos."Do you care much about these?"

"It is up to you to decide," Sarcos replied uninterested. Thurssa nodded and left the deals on the table. Sarcos smiled. He knew he will refuse them. Mehrat suddenly entered the office and the king went to discuss something near the window, when Sarcos's eyes fell on the letter with the Crystal City mark."Look like someone is plotting."Sarcos thought. He blow a deep breath, to remove the papers covering the letter, but the only words he saw were...bring our queen...
