Fight of the two Eagle Kings

In a bit frantic Sand City, Sienna went to Sarcos's office and wrote a quick letter to him. Rem sent it to wetlands with a fast falcon. He turned to Sienna and gave her a soft smile."Thank you for coming to help us."

"I'm your queen, I will always come to help you."Sienna smiled at him a bit worriedly." I just wish I can help more, now when another fight is upon us." she sighed.

"King Marco is very strong, we will win, my dear queen, for you and for our king. Come, let me take you to address the soldiers."Rem said warmly.

Sienna went with Rem to talk to the armies. They met Marco on the way. He was ordering his eagle armies as the scorpions let them enter Sand City.

The scorpion soldiers were gathered and ready to fight. They saw Sienna a few times close up before. They loved Sarcos and her too. They saw she is kind, clever, approachable and breathtakingly beautiful. She came to them as a ray of sunshine. She was a bit serious and they could feel she is confident in them and brave.

Sienna sat on her white horse Sunshine elegantly, so they all could see her. She called to scorpion armies in a strong voice;

"Soldiers. Hold our king Sarcos in your hearts dearly and fight well. Make him proud! Let the stones of Sand City tell him of your bravery when he returns."

The soldiers cheered. The queen looked sure of their victory. She did not seem scared at all! They knew how sensitive their queen is, so they were a bit surprised, she is addressing them with such strength in her voice. They could feel the will and excitement to fight from her! The generals told them already that the traps they will be installing were decided by the queen and that she asked her Sea Eagle King to help protect their city.

"King Marco, my mate and brother of our beloved king Sarcos, will be in charge of leading you all in this fight." Sienna lifted Marco's hand. "Our king Sarcos and I have great trust in him. Most of you know him from fighting Kraken together, and now we will get ready to overcome King Aiden and his new ally. They think to destroy this city and all the scorpions. But scorpions are here to stay! This is our great city, our people and our land! We will protect it and show Aiden the way back to his gloomy castle!"Sienna encouraged the men with a fighting spirit. Her blue tiger eyes shone brightly and the wild energy was seeping from all her being. She was on fire!

The soldiers cheered again. They felt even stronger after their queen's speech. She was addressing them as her people and it made them proud!

Then Sienna waved to her armies goodbye. She kissed Marco's lips gently and Rem led her sitting on her horse back to Sand City Forum. Marco stayed to talk to the generals and soldiers. He wanted to pick the best close-up fighters for Sienna's sneaky plan!

Sienna with Rem went to the Forum. A huge mass of people gathered there to listen to the news! They were murmuring between themself excited or worried when they saw Rem with Sienna coming. They stopped talking and stared at them.

Rem stood next to the queen on the higher ground and lifted his hand.

"My dear people. We will prepare for the fight now. All the men are needed, the ones who don't wish to fight will be in charge of traps and extinguishing the fires." he called to them strongly.

"We all can fight!" the scorpions reply to him loudly in booming voices. They were fierce men till the day they die!

"Then we will fight and keep our city fire free at the same time!"Rem called back to them. He said it to provocate them a little!

"All the females and kids will be staying in the Tiger Castle."Rem addressed the people. "Tiger King Tyrell and the queen's bodyguard Sea Eagle Bran will take good care of them."

"My dear scorpions, bring your females and kids here, they will be flying on the eagles to Crystal City. They don't need to pack anything."Sienna called to them."King Tyrell will provide your mates and children with everything they might need." she smiled encouragingly.

"Go now, send your mates here, we need to hurry to give us more time to prepare!"Sienna sent them off. Rem sent one of his men to Marco to inform him to send the eagles. Sienna just waited next to him, till the females will come.

The men dispersed and females started to come to the Forum. They gathered a bit nervously. Sienna saw how they held their little children trying to be brave. The Sand City females never before had to leave their city because Sarcos was simply too strong. It was no need. This was new to them.

Sienna smiled at them encouragingly."Thank you all for coming, my dear sisters. You will be staying in my Tiger Castle till the fights last. To give your men peace of mind to fight."Sienna said kindly.

The females stared worriedly but listened. Marco's eagles started to gather in the air.

Sienna with Rem watched as the eagles landed down in twenty each time. The scorpion men lifted the females and kids to their feathery backs and the eagles rise up quickly. It was a few hundreds of females there and they needed to hurry up! The long lines of eagles flew fast to Crystal City hiding above the clouds!

Marco sent almost a quarter of his soldiers to help take females and kids to Crystal City to King Tyrell. Bran was leading them.

Bran had to stay behind in Crystal City to guard the females. He was organizing guards and soldiers to help take care of them as well as air patrols. He was one of the strongest Marco's warriors and Marco with Tyrell trusted him the most.

Tyrell also had his hands full. He asked a lot of tigers to come to his castle to help him to take care of a scorpion females and loads of kids. His big gardens and castle were full of life suddenly! Tyrell watched the kids playing in the garden as he passed organizing. They were wildly climbing the trees and laughing. Most kids liked to fly on eagles and took it as a fun holiday!

Tyrell smiled. He longed to have kids with Sienna as well. In his world, Royal kids stayed mostly with their father after they were not breastfed any more, so he hoped he would keep Sienna with him as well the most. Regular people would just decide on living in one of the cities together, but kings had it more difficult. They could not relocate for a queen away from their tribe!

Two hours later the Sand City was suddenly empty of females! Sienna watched the last few eagles lift up into the air with a sigh of relief. She was the last female to go. The man dispersed already around the city to start the preparations and Sienna still stood next to Rem. She could feel her energy high even after all this time. She saw Marco coming to her with Lord Ziran and two eagle warriors.They looked strikingly the same! "They must be twins!" Sienna watched in awe.

"It is time to go my queen."Marco came closer and circled her waist. Sienna looked at Marco lovingly and held his hand.

"Have a good fight, my strong eagle. Thank you so much for helping me to protect Sand City" Siena felt her heart in her neck.

"Sure."Marco nodded. "Anything for my brother and you my love." he kissed her lips lightly and lifted her up onto one of the huge eagles. "These are my fastest flyers. Carr and Darr, they are twins," he said to Sienna with a smirk. "You will be in Snake Castle within two hours," Marco said seriously. Ziran climbed onto another eagle and Marco signalled them to fly up!

Marco and his men got the traps ready. They decorated the city like for the festival and hid the deadly traps between the decorations!

The most skilled scorpion assassin soldiers were led by Sid. They were disguised as females in long-flowing veils!

Marco looked from the air and nodded satisfied. The city looked like preparing a celebration, not the war!

King Aiden with his Dark Eagle army flew in confidently just before dawn. People in Sand City seemed unprepared."They are celebrating my victory already ?" he chuckled darkly.

"I want to talk to King Sarcos, "Aiden stopped at the Sand City Gate.

"He is not here." Marco came out nonchalantly.

"Ahh, Marco my friend. Let us in for a party then."Aiden smirked.

Marco stood in his way."I'm in charge of Sand City defences during Sarcos's absence." the eagle said strongly."We are having a feast. So don't disturb them."

"May I talk to your queen then?"Aiden licked his lips.

"She is also not available."Marco nodded."Not here."

"So what are you doing in Sand City?"Aiden was suspicious.

"Guarding it, they have festivals," Marco noted.

"From who?"Aiden asked nonchalantly.

"From you."Marco nodded."The queen was worried, you might come uninvited."

"So she thinks of me?"Aiden asked pleased.

"Always."Marco nodded.

"So are you just helping out the scorpions?"Aiden asked curiously.

"No, to my brother. Sarcos is my brother," Marco noted.

"What does it make me then?"Aiden asked cheekily.

"My friend still."Marco nodded."Take your soldiers away..."

"Let's do the King's Duel then."Aiden chuckled."If you win, I may leave the city alone."

"Sure."Marco nodded.

Aiden and Marco fought in front of Sand City, who seemed oblivious. Marco won easily. He could see Aiden is just testing his strength and playing around!

"Sarcos trained you well."Aiden scoffed."You are really too strong for an eagle." he chuckled."Still, I will attack the city."

"You don't keep your word then," Marco said coldly.

"I sold your beautiful queen. I'm heartless."Aiden chuckled.

"She mentioned it as a favour."Marco grinned coldly. "But if you want to fight let's do it then. Butchery is my hobby." Marco nodded. He whistled and twenty eagles come to stay behind him.

"Gahaha.Your army is really big. You should rather join me so you don't become a loser."Aiden laughed."Do you want to know why I fought you? To give my new army time to arrive."Aiden smiled and pointed at the vast army of golden lions marching thru the sand."I got a new ally."

"I know", Marco nodded.

"Who told you?"Aiden furrowed his brows suspiciously.

"My queen. She said you must have a new ally. She called you the Black King of her chess game and actually asked me to spare your life, she still likes you..."Marco noted coldly.

"My little White Queen," Aiden said almost longingly."Sienna likes me?" he smiled confidently," Sure, she did not oppose me at all." he nodded to himself." I'm so handsome." he chuckled."I should spare you too then, let's not make her sad. Don't you just love how she smiles?"

"I do."Marco nodded sternly."You should turn around and go. This is Sienna's city and I will not let you destroy it. It will make her upset."

"It is just a city."Aiden shook his shoulders.

"It is full of her people," Marco said.

"I will cancel all scorpions. Forever!"Aiden smirked.

"You will enter into a blood bath," Marco warned him.

"I can see only party!"Aiden chuckled and left. He was thinking Marco is trying to bluff him!

Marco sighed and went back to Sand City Gate."You don't need to bother to close the gates too strongly, it is too many of them."His lips curled up cruelly.

"Good, we will have more fun." the guards nodded and locked the gate lightly.
