CHAPTER NINE -FEELINGS

As the days passed and Naomi stayed in  that Kendrick's house finding  solace and support in his presence.The boundaries of their friends-with-benefits agreement blurred as she found herself drawn to him in ways she hadn't anticipated. Despite her growing feelings, she kept them tightly locked away, afraid of disrupting the delicate balance they had established.

It wasn't until two months into her stay that Kendrick broke the unspoken rule, his confession of love catching Nora off guard. She was torn between the rush of emotions his words stirred within her and the fear of jeopardizing their arrangement. However, amidst this newfound emotional intimacy, fate dealt another cruel blow. Naomi  had to go to Florida for her mum's funeral. Leaving Kendrick's comforting embrace was a painful necessity, and she found herself back at Eric's place, where she and Nora had stays.

On the journey to Florida, Kendrick dropped a bombshell—Olivia would be joining them to go through some work-related videos. The news caught Naomi off guard, stirring a whirlwind of conflicting emotions within her. She couldn't deny the lingering attraction between Kendrick and Olivia, a fact that had caused tension and discomfort in their dynamic before.
