Chapter 14
"Shit." I stood in front of my closet after a quick shower and realized I had no idea what I was supposed to wear. Should I be in something casual or was he planning something a little more fancy? How would I find out? I felt unsure about just going and knocking on his door. Then I had an idea.
"F.R.I.D.A.Y, can you ask Loki what type of dress I should be in tonight? Casual or fancy?"
"Yes Ms. Ariane. One moment.'
Huh, she was really handy to have around. I would narrow down what I would wear once I had an answer to my question.
"Reindeer Games says to wear fancy dress."
I cocked my head at that. Reindeer Games? I would have to remember to ask about that.
"Thank you F.R.I.D.A.Y."
It was my first date with Loki. I knew exactly what fancy dress to wear. The green number I got when I went shopping with Nat and Wanda. I slid the silk dress over my head and smoothed it down my body. I studied myself in the mirror. It hugged every curve to perfection and it looked amazing. I brushed out my hair until it shone and left it hanging. I would keep a hair tie in my purse just in case though. Gold high-heeled sandals completed my look. I didn't have any jewelry but I didn't really need it. What I also didn't have any of was underwear. With the open back, I couldn't wear a bra, and because it was so form-fitting I had the choice of a thong or nothing. I went with nothing. I couldn't stand wearing a thong. It felt like having dental floss going up your ass. I would just have to hope Loki couldn't tell what I wasn't wearing.
There was a knock on my door. I opened it to find Loki standing there in an entirely black suit. His shirt, tie, and suit were all black and I had to say he looked so amazing that I stopped breathing for a moment. He looked more like a fallen angel than ever. He looked just as stunned as he took in my dress.
"That color suits you my darling. You must wear it more often."
He stepped forward and skimmed his fingers down my cheek and throat, tracing my collar bone.
"I am very pleased with your choice of dress. You look ravishing. Although I would much prefer seeing your dress lying on my floor instead." He winked at me.
His wink pulled me out of my trance. "Yeah, I'm sure you would. But it stays on my body."
"For now, pet. Just for now."
"You promised dinner and plans and I'm hungry." I wasn't going to mention all I was hungry for.
"That I did. Come. We will take Tony's car. I'm sure he won't mind." With a sly look, Loki snagged the keys to the R8 as we went through the living room.
"Dinner plans Brother?" Thor called from a chair in the corner. I hadn't even noticed him. I was too focused on Loki. I frowned slightly. That was sloppy and was something that could get someone killed one day. I needed to be more alert, but Loki overtook my senses and all I could focus on was him when he was near. I hoped as I spent more time with him that would get better.
"That is none of your concern Brother." Loki took my hand and pulled me through the door. Thor's laughter followed us out of the door into the night.
"Idiot." I hear Loki mutter under his breath. I stifled a giggle. He looked thoroughly put out. I tugged him to a stop and stepped in close to where I was almost pressed against him.
"Don't let him ruin your mood, Kokoro no Yokubo. It's just us tonight so let's have fun."
I lightly ran a fingertip across his jawline and I felt the muscles tighten at my touch. I dared to go a little farther and ran my fingertip across his lips. He grabbed my hand and his voice was thick and husky with desire.
"Be careful now, pet. Or we will never leave the compound and I will have you right here in the yard. Your touch enflames me and I would have us do other things first tonight."
I stepped back with a small smile, turned, and got into the R8. I took a deep steadying breath as Loki walked around the car and got in.
"So where are we going?"
"You will see sweetling."
With an evil smile, he started the car and pulled away from the compound. Tonight was going to be fun. I settled back and enjoyed the ride.
