CHAPTER 4

She heard a giggle from a distance and felt like it was calling her. "Hello?" she shouted. As she shouted, her voice echoed through the black void she was in. Gabriella wanted to speak with her, wanting to know where she is. "Wait!" she cried out to a mysterious light. She walked and walked but when she reached that light, everything went dark...

A light suddenly struck her while the face and made her growl. She covered her eyes for protection and then let go of it in a second. She opened her eyes and find herself covered in a white blanket. "Am I still alive?" she thought and unwrapped herself. "I must be at a hospital," she thought because of the white blanket wrapping her. She rose weakly and felt too light. "That's weird... I'm never on a diet today..." she looked at her whole body. "What am I wearing?..." she scanned her clothes and touched them. "...It looks very fabulous and too luxurious for a hospital gown..." she smiled. But as she stared at herself, her eyes caught a shiny object. Right in the distance, she saw a huge mirror covered in golden ornaments and gemstones carved into it. Her eyes squinted. "Hospitals don't have luxurious things lying around their rooms," She thought when scratching her hair. She examined the whole room she was in and concluded, that it wasn't any hospital room. The room was huge and a fireplace was in front of her. She was filled with tables and chairs covered in white blankets.

A thick and white fabric was beneath her bed, lying around the floor. She stood up and pulled the fabric. She touched the fabric and analyzed the whole texture.

"Hmm..."

She rubbed the fabric on her face and felt comfortable. "Too fabulous for a decent hospital to have," she mumbled. As she laid the shiny fabric on the mattress she came from, she sat at it and stretched her arms. She blanked out, giving a tired and weary complexion and closed her eyes. She opened her eyes and found discomfort at the palm of her hands. She flipped her hands and saw what she wasn't supposed to see. Green light emitted on both of her palms, glowing mysteriously. She rubbed all two of her palms to believe it was a trick of the light. But as she opened her palms again, the unusual light disappeared as if it was never there in the first place.

She then realized a beautiful woman appeared right beside her. She stood up and went on the woman slowly as it also walked close to her. She stopped when the woman was near her, staring hopelessly like her. She wanted to touch her and ask if she was in the hospital. But as her fingers got closer, It stopped as if they were separated through a wall. Her eyes widened with the realization that the woman was indeed herself. She had raven black hair and eyes glowing like emeralds at the night. Her skin was pale, covered with red marks that seem to hurt whenever she would touch them. She felt no excitement nor anger but rather fear. The person in front of her was not her reflection that she grew up no matter how different she looked, she never thought that it would vanish and be replaced with an unfamiliar goddess-looking face. Then out of a sudden, she felt immense pain on the back of her body and when she turned around, she wished she would have never seen it again. Red marks we're all over the body with purple bruised entangling with injuries.

She felt as if she returned as a child. She recalled her mother crying in pain, trying to cure the bruises all over her body. The screams and crying were heard loud and clear as if it never ended and as a matter of fact, it might have not been. Sweat began dripping over Gabriella's face. She sat near the mirror, looking back at it. But as things were already terrible, a knock interrupted her. "Dear sister, it's me, your beloved brother" a deep and gentle voice was behind the door. She stood and looked around as whatever should she do. She sighed and then walked slowly to the door. She wanted to be fast, but her legs were too weak to even run. She grabbed the handle and tried opening it. "Strange," she thought. It was as if the door was locked from the outside. She tried looking for a switch or a handle that can unlock it but there was nothing that can open it. "Excuse me, the door might be locked from the outside," she said loudly so that the person might hear it. "Lilith, don't make suck jokes, you know you're health is not a game," he said in a worrying tone.

She was confused about why the person was pretending to not know the lock. Before she could even try to grab the handle, the handle began to shake uncontrollably. The door was getting knocks wilder than the last one. "Lilith!!! OPEN THE DOOR!!!" the voice was getting even more desperate as the handle gets shaken again. She stepped back confused and scared of what she wasn't able to understand. She tried to come closer to it but she thought of a memory that was once like this. She once ran away from a man who also wanted to come inside. She hid behind the mirror, trembling in fear. "LILITH!!! DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!" the knock was becoming a kick from its feet while she was covering her ears, trying to wake up from this disastrous dream but it wasn't a dream nor a nightmare. "LILITH!!!! haha.... let's not fight anymore and come to terms, we're siblings and we always help whoever the other needs attention and I need you, Lilith!!!" she could feel that the person was crying in tears but that wasn't convincing her to open it.

Then the crying stopped. She opened her eyes if the person didn't want to come for her. Suddenly, she heard a noise ringing like bells. "Lilith you're making big brother mad and that YOU SHOULD'NT DEFY ME!!!" the shout turned into anger, making her shout out of fear. "Stop! Don't hurt me!" she yelled, trying to make him stop but it was only making him mad. The handle started to open and a loud kick in the door busted it open. She gasped and covered her whole head. The mirror fell as the man pushed it away from her. She felt terror, looking at the man's green eyes that looked exactly like hers. She hated it. She inhaled while he grabbed her by the hair, dragging her into the broken mirror where shards surrounded the floor everywhere. She wanted to scream, wanting for help but the pain from him pulling his hair was unbearable. The young man untied his belt and hit her with it. She winced in pain and then cried loudly, wanting to stop him but she was too weak. He grabbed her waist and then sat on the bed. He, then wrapped her hands with his belt so that she wouldn't move. She cried painfully, wanting to get out but there was no use. He smiled gently as if he wasn't doing anything wrong and then grabbed her to sit on his lap. He put his head on her shoulder, while she was crying and gasping in pain.

He licked her neck from the bottom until it reached her ear and then bit her hard with his teeth, making her pale shoulder, bleed. She shouted in pain but he covered her mouth with his mouth, shutting her up. "You know I'm only this for your own good," he said gently on her ear.

That's how I met the villainess' obsessive brother...
