Chapter I

"STUDENT COUNCIL MEETING"

"Since, Valentines Day is in four days. I want everyone participation and suggestion on what is our plan for this event," Pres.Mary said. Alyssa, who hadn't been paying attention until Jerna tapped her shoulder and whispered "Isn't your birthday the same day as Valentines Day?" She asked.

Alyssa whispered back and said "Yes, it is Jerna. You don't have to remind me"

"You don't sound excited about your birthday this year, shouldn't you be happy that your turning 21 in four days," Jerna said still in a whisper voice.

"That's because I'm not excited for my birthday this year, Jerna. I'm just not feeling the love that I deserved, you know," Alyssa said as she showed no enthusiasm.

"But, you're the miracle of love. You should be receiving every love and attention that you deserve," Angelica said as she joined in the conversation while comforting Alyssa.

"Do you have a class this morning, officers?" Pres. Mary asked as she continued "Because, I'm planning to hold a meeting today to talk about the plan for this event"

"Yes, pres. I have a 9:00-10:30 class," said Josephine.

Micah raised her hand and said "Jerna and I have a 10:30-12:00 class, pres"

"Okay, since everyone has a class this morning. We will hold the meeting this afternoon at 4:00 pm to discuss about the event, I want everyone to be present," Pres. Mary said, as she added "That will be all, thank you officers," After that she left the student council.

"Thank you and Good bye pres," everyone said.

After the president left the room, the rest of the officers including Alyssa stayed in the room while Josephine, Micah, and Jerna left for class.

"I am not The Miracle of Love, Angelica. It was just a made up tittle by my parents when I was born because they thought I will bring love and friendship to everyone," Alyssa said as she continued "But, in reality I am not loved by everyone, and surely everyone hates me,"

"But, you did bring love and friendship to me, Jerna, Josephine, and Micah," Angelica added.

"Who says, no one loves you?" Aiyane asked as she joined in the conversation.

"Everyone Aiyane, everyone says that," Alyssa said.

"Well, they're just jealous. I'm sure on Valentines Day you will receive heartfelt gifts and messages from people who truly love you" Aiyane said while smiling.

"Don't lose hope just yet, only four days left to celebrate your birthday and Valentines Day," Angelica said as she tried to cheer up Alyssa, who was moved by their action.

"Besides, you don't need everyone approval on how you want to be loved," Aiyane remarked.

"Aiyane right," Angelica agreed to Aiyane remark as she added "Don't focus on people who hates you, focus on people who cares for you in this harsh world,"

"Thank you Aiyane and Angelica for your kind words, I really needed that," Alyssa said as she thanked them.

"Anytime Alyssa," Aiyane said "That reminds me I better get to class. See you later," while quickly gathering her things as she waved good-bye and left the room.

N: As Alyssa and Angelica wave good-bye to Aiyane, as they continue on talking until Pinkerbell tapped Alyssa shoulder.

"Alyssa there's a guy that looking for you, his from another organization," Pinkerbell said.

"A guy looking for me?" Alyssa asks herself as she scoffs, "Well, that's a first"

N: She then stood up and left the room, there she saw the guy standing in the corner smiling at her.

He then came closer and asked, "Hi, You must be Alyssa Mae Radisson, right?"

"Yes, I am" Alyssa nodded while asking "I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name. Who are you?"

"My apologies, where are my manners. My name is Invenzor Thompson, Ms. Alyssa. It's nice to meet you." Invenzor said as he introduced himself.

"Nice to meet you too, Mr. Invenzor. So, why did you want to see me?" Alyssa asked as she shook his hand.

He shifted his eyes before whispering into her ear, then said, "I heard that your birthday is coming up, so, I wanted to get a head start before anyone else" He slowly took out a small wrapped present and opened it for her.

Alyssa then whispered and asked, "Who told you about my birthday?"

Invenzor shrugged and said "No one, Ms. Alyssa" He then added "If you don't mind, I would like to put this necklace and bracelet on you"

"I don't mind at all, Invenzor" Alyssa agreed as she closed her eyes. He then slowly put it on her.

"You look lovely, Ms. Alyssa" Invenzor said while smiling.

"Thank you for your wonderful advance present, Invenzor. I appreciate it" Alyssa thanked him while complimenting his gift.

"I'm glad you liked it, Ms. Alyssa but that's not the only present that I have for you" he said.

"There's more!?" She surprisingly yelled while covering her mouth.

Invenzor nodded while smiling and said, "Yep, but you have to wait for Valentines Day for that"

"Oh, is that so?" She asked.

Invenzor nodded, as he was about to say more when the president arrived and said, "Let me remind you once again that we have laws in the student council, Artcile 11 Section 15: Romantic Relationship is prohibited to the Student Council officers. Abiding the law will be in prison at the President office for 2 consecutive years." she stated.

"But, Pres. Mary. His not a member of the student council, his from another organization" Alyssa explained.

"Oh, his not?" Pres. Mary asked as she looked at the guy up and down. It looks like she's scanning him.

"No his not, Pres. Mary" Alyssa said.

"Very well then, carry on whatever your doing but be quick. You're not done with your duty yet" Pres. Mary said, as she went inside the student council.

"Seems like I better get back inside, Good bye Invenzor," Alyssa said as she was about to open the door, but Invenzor stopped her.

"Wait, here's my number. I want us to get in touch once in awhile" Invenzor said as he wrote his number on a piece of paper and gave it to her.

"Thank you, I'll sure to contact you," Alyssa thanked him as she waved goodbye before entering the room. Invenzor soon then left with a smile on his face when she went back inside.
