Chapter 1Prologue

"Who are you?" When she heard that cold, unfeeling voice, Malaya froze. As she tightened her hold on her hood, she couldn't help but gasp.

'How did I get here?' She couldn't help but ponder in disbelief. They were supposed to go to the Marquess' house right now, but something unforeseen happened.

Malaya's light aquamarine eyes clashed with piercing ruby eyes, glinting at each other within the gloomy cells.

Malaya was at a loss for words. Kayden Illes Endre, the villain who would eventually become the seventh demon lord and ruler of vampires, stood in front of her. His arms and feet were both chained.

When a flash of lightning struck outside the cell's single-barred window, she was able to get a better look at the man in front of her.

His white hair was unruly. And he had bruises all over his body and face. However, none of his spectacular appearances led to deterioration. Sharp ruby-colored eyes, a prominent jaw, and if the bruises weren't present, his skin was smooth and blemish-free.

But...some of his wounds were still open, and blood was dripping from them.

He should still be fifteen years old according to this chronology. His backstory was thoroughly described in the novel Fate of the Stars. His stepmother, who was infatuated with his beauty, imprisoned him in the darkest area of the dungeon. And she arrived here time to time to torment him since he refused her advances.

Seriously, she promised herself not to cause many changes in the plot. But, Malaya couldn't help but sigh wearily. No person in their right mind would not help a wounded abused boy. But there was nothing that she could help him this much at this point.

She simply happened to read that ragged book, Fate of the Stars since her high school teacher required her to do so for her book review report. Later on, she had no idea she would be burnt alive aboard their cruise ship back on Earth.

When she opened her eyes, she discovered herself in the ten-year-old body of a minor villainess in this tale. It was already four years that passed, and now she was on the academy arc, where everyone despised her for harassing the female lead, the saintess summoned from another world.

Rather than attempting to modify herself, she opted not to. Instead, she began to plan what she would do after her doom flag, where she would be banished. They happened to be on vacation for a week. As a result, she set her plans in motion.

Her lifelong dream was to explore the entire world. She would fulfill it here in this world because she was unable to do so in her previous life. Furthermore, despite the existence of magic on this planet, only a small percentage of places had been found and recorded. Not only she would be able to travel, but she may also go down in history as the greatest voyager!

So she proceeded to find the famed shipbuilder of their empire on the Taleba Dukedom's island of Sirakari. Malaya ultimately tracked him down. However, in order to build her ship, she had to do something in exchange, which was why she was in the dark dungeon.

"Tell me, who are you? Does that woman send you here to torment me?" Kayden scoffed with disdain. "You can do what you want! But I will never succumb to that woman's demand!"

Malaya's thoughts were cut short. 'Ah, the villain. I can't get you out of here, but this is the least I could do for you. A temporary relief. I apoligize even knowing your situation but I am such a despicable person. I don't want to get further involve with major characters more than this.' Malaya took out her ring and crushed it in her palms.

Instead of an answer, Kayden was surrounded by soothing water. It instantly cleansed and healed all of his wounds.

Malaya finally said something. However, she deepened her voice so that even if they meet again in the future, he would not recognize her.

"I am merely a young man who will become the world's greatest voyager." With that, she ripped a talisman from her pocket and vanished in an instant. Kayden was taken aback by the events occurring all at once, but then he let out a low chuckle.

'What a fool...does she think she can deceive me by lowering her voice?' the greatest explorer? Kayden surely met an interesting person today. But, due to her, he would be able to sleep well tonight for the first time. 'I shall definitely pay this debt someday.'

Letters to Romeo.

[Mature Content. No Rape] 'All it took was breaking one rule that she was not supposed to' He was the bad boy with tattoos. She was the good girl with glasses, and she was his. — When Julianne Winters decides to move to the dormitory of the reputed University, she has everything planned so that she can complete her graduation and leave the place. "It is important you abide by all the rules. Especially number twenty nine," said the girl in a serious tone. "Remember not to get involved with Roman. If you happened to see him, run in the other direction. There is a reason why it is written down here." With the rules of the campus, she resorts to sending handwritten letters to her uncle. But who knew it would end up in someone else’s hand!

I feel like I've read enough of this story to actually leave a detailed enough review, so attached is my not-so-initial opinion of this story. Writing Quality (5/5): I love how the author says that English is not her first author, but the writing is still very smooth to read and with little grammatical mistakes. I'm that type of reader to literally paragraph comment every little mistake I've observed, and honestly, I haven't had to do that here at all. There are variations in sentence patterns, showing and not telling, and really good descriptions that help me visualize the scene. Not to mention, I LOVE all the little extra scenes. They're literally soooo cute (and still help me understand the world/characters more). Stability of Updates (5/5) Story Development (5/5): It was honestly kind of surprising how there wasn't a single chapter that didn't have some form of action. It's what I expect of an adventure book but at the same time, one of the few books I found here that actually lives up to that expectation. Plus, at the same time, I don't really find it rushed, and everything happens at just the right pace. Character Design (5/5): Finally a "villainous" who doesn't try to somehow just become the FL of the story. Like bless, there's finally someone here with actually human reactions and logic??? Also, I really like the dynamics between Malaya and her family ^-^ The dialogue and the way they speak really give each of them some depth. World Background (5/5): It's definitely really clear that there was thought put into constructing this world. Special shoutout to all the magic levels. I read the glossary or the auxiliary chapters afterwards, and I was suddenly like omi this is geniusssss All in all a great read that lives up to it's name. There's no shady and forced romance, and Malaya really is the definition of rewriting your own future. I added the story to my library, and I think it's there to stay :D

I'll began with the author writing quality. I can say that it's good, there were sentences that I found a bit hard to understand, which I think can be fix by just rewording the sentences. Transition is good. As for grammar issues, I'm not really good either *cry cry, but I think that there were a few words that can be replace with a different word, I mean words that have the same definition, but just a different way of saying it. In regard to character design and story development, I'll think that the author did a great job on describing the characters. Especially, the villain, ahem, kind of make me think of those hot anime guy, hehe. Refocusing back to what I say about the describing the characters, yes, the author was good at trying to make her mysterious by wearing a hood. Makes me wonder how beautiful she is. As for her companion, it's a love and hate thing. I don't why, but I can't stand Dorris. Somehow, I imagine her as an annoying little girl. Author, why did you make me think of my little sister? Lol.....Moving on to the story background, the author has provide a glossary of her story world! Excellent! It may be a bit inconvenience to go back and forth when reading a part in the story that made you confuse where you have to go back and search for the meaning behind it, but hey, I'm not complaining. And finally, for story development and updates, the author did say in the synopsis that new chapters depend on the length of each arc. Which is good for eager reader to understand that they need to wait patiently. And last but not least, the story development. From the beginning to the latest chapter, the main action, or dream of the main character haven't happen yet, to be the best voyager! It look like the author is still building up to the point the main character sets on her journey. So as a last parting words of encouragement I wish the best for Malaya and the author herself. Great job, and keep up the great work!
