When Adela noticed Richard was not saying anything to her, she carefully emerged from the tree and asked, "May I have a seat here, your royal highness?"
Richard moved his attention away from her before giving a hesitant nod. Adela sat down next to Richard as he gave her permission. After a while, Richard squeezed his lips together before asking, "So, when did you get here?"
Richard felt hesitant to ask her about these kinds of inquiries. But he was too shy to look at her just now, so he had nothing to say to her. As soon as Adela heard Richard, she said, "I-I just followed you all the way."
Richard turned to Adela after hearing what she had said.
He couldn't believe what he had just heard. Did she follow him all the way? But why?
