When Theia learned James had selected Camilla for his squad, she furrowed her brows. Theia closed her eyes and wondered whether they would collaborate on something. She did not think that James would choose her. But Camilla's performance was so outstanding that it was clear James would take a chance.
James was next to Theia when Camilla approached him. She appeared to turn into a robot. Theia did not like when Camilla stood beside her.
Everything had gradually altered. Friendship, love, and relationships were not the same as they had been in the past. There was no emotion in Camilla's eyes. She didn't blink as she kept her gaze fixed on the front. Adela had nothing she could use to help Camilla. But she felt relieved that Ian was on James's team as well; he could take care of Camilla on the mission.
