Shock
Everyone became startled when they spotted Richard and Veronica on the back of the fire-bird. Some others were so astonished that they began to say, "That is the prince and duchess."
"Where are they coming from?"
The moment the fire bird began to descend toward the ground, everyone's eyes became wider. It was a gorgeous bird. Draven rose from his seat and glanced at the bird. He instantly adopted a serious expression.
When Alfred saw that Richard and his wife were both okay, his face lit up. After being nervous, he was now happy that they had arrived just in time. He was shocked when the emperor spoke his name to him.
"Alfred."
After hearing him, Alfred turned his attention to Draven. He knew why Draven called out his name out of the blue. In a commanding tone, Draven asked Alfred, "Alfred, what is Veronica doing with Prince? You sent her there without getting my approval?"
For a moment, Alfred remained silent before replying, "Yes, your highness."
"I sent her there."
