An unknown amount of time later, Edward painfully opened his eyes.

'Sylphie… The fight against the wolf!' Suddenly Edward sat up in panic, waking the young girl.

'I panicked for nothing, if we're here, he must be dead...' Edward pulled himself together, placing his hand against his face and sighing.

"There, the Sylphie of calm."

The bedroom door opened, revealing Rudeus' face. Seeing the scene, the latter opened his eyes wide before nodding thoughtfully.

'This guy...I'm sure he thinks he's a man, he must see us as gay...his mind is messed up'

Oblivious to Ed's internal criticism, Rudeus coughed twice and spoke, "You're awake Ed, how are you feeling?"

At these words, Sylphie detached herself from Edward and stared at him waiting for a response.

Edward rotated his bandaged right arm a few times, grimacing, "I'm still sore, but it's okay."

A sigh of relief escaped Rudeus' mouth, he nodded positively then spoke "I'll go get mom, just lie there quietly while you wait."

Without wasting any time, he turned around and left the room, closing the door.

An awkward silence grew in the room after Rudeus left, leaving Edward feeling uneasy.

He scratched his cheek lightly with a sheepish smile "A-So what about you Sylphie, are you okay?"

Looking at the girl, he saw her eyes shining with tears.

Panicked, Edward waved his left arm in front of him and stammered. "Hey hey, everyone is fine, don't worry, look, I'm fine!"

He did a few flexions with his right arm as proof, wincing slightly from the pain.

"You know, it's pretty cool to get bitten by a wolf, I mean… it's cool right?"

Despite Ed's efforts, the girl's eyes filled with more and more tears that she could no longer hold back. "Waaaa, Edddd I was so scared!"

Edward sighed then gently placed his hand on the half-elf's head. "There, there, everything is okay now, everything is okay."

The girl nodded gently at Ed's words of comfort.

Taking advantage of this moment, Edward carefully examined his bandaged right arm, the pain was certainly present, but Zenith had to treat most of it, the blood loss must be the main cause of fatigue.

Zenith opened the door accompanied by Lilia and Roxy, worry could be read on the young mother's face. Hidden behind the 3 girls, Alice, Edward's sister, entered the room with a worried look on her face.

When she saw Ed, her face hardened and she walked towards him filled with worry.

The young girl stopped in front of him, not daring to touch him and hurt him further, she stammered "Is everything okay?"

Edward nodded his head with a small, ashamed smile on his face. "Yes, no problem."

Alice's gaze softened noticeably and she hugged her younger brother for a moment before sitting on the edge of the bed next to the half-elf.

Zenith sighed in relief, she walked over and patted the exhausted young Sylphie on the head, her gaze suddenly became serious as she stared at Edward. "What happened in this forest?"

Edward's gaze hardened and he calmly explained the events in the forest without hiding anything. Throughout the explanation, the gaze of the people in the room hardened noticeably.

Finally, after explaining everything, silence took over the room. After a few minutes, Zenith sighed and massaged his temples.

"Paul left for the forest as soon as you arrived, if there are other wolves, he will take care of them without any problem, in the meantime, you will no longer go into the forest for the moment... Paul and Sylviano should be able to take care of them this kind of problem."

Edward nodded, he knew Paul's strength, even a pack of 100 wolves would have no chance against him, plus he already had a theory about the presence of a wolf in this region of the forest.
