Once again, everything was on his shoulders. Hundreds of lives depended on him. His defeat meant everyone's defeat, and his victory meant everyone's victory. The audience of that dangerous duel was the entire people who believed in him!
Datu Paduka must win this fight!
He could feel the gazes staring at him. There were countless eyes. All the gazes were pushing at Datu Paduka's back.
A smile rosed from his mouth as he said,
"Not bad."
His opponent was a monster in a duel! The master of war, old but experienced, tempered by war, and someone who looked forward to war. He was literally the embodiment of brawn and wits. The most honorable foe.
"Hey."
Datu Puti placed the broadsword on his shoulder and called out. But there was no answer. The Old Man continued, however, despite being ignored.
"Are you truly that Paduka?"
Yet, Datu Paduka only made a slight jeer.
