Over Dimensional Oven System

A week later.

Neil is lying on his bed, staring at the ceiling.

On the day he created the ice box and the others, the next day he goes around the second floor and fix every room in it.

There are a total of twelve rooms in this floor, the two are already occupied by him. He has been going around this floor and closing every open windows or holes in each rooms.

To give a summary of his uses, this is how he upgrades each of these rooms.

(Second Floor Rooms)

Old Walls (1 Upgrade) x12

Old Ceilings (1 Upgrade) x12

Old Floor (1 Upgrade) x12

Super Sink (4 Upgrades) x3

Old Bathtub (1 Upgrade) x3

Super Shower (4 Upgrades) x3

Other than the rooms, three of these rooms have their own bathrooms. One of the rooms he upgraded is pretty large, like it is some sort of meeting room. He also encountered a hollow area that might have been the place where the elevator is located.

He would like to take care of all of that, but he didn't have enough upgrades so he decided to hold it until tomorrow.

The total amount he used on this past week is 63 upgrades. Which means he only have 7 upgrades remaining.

"Ah... so hungry..." He mutters.

The day he decided to hunt for those birds, he didn't go along with it.

He wanted to try, but he stops when he saw the viciousness of those birds.

One time, while he was looking at the windows, he saw those demon looking rabbits lunging at the dangerous looking bird perching peacefully on the nearby ruined structure. The bird manage to dodge it, though it made a very ear screeching squawk that seems to have alerted every of these dangerous looking birds to it's general area.

It is very terrifying and he can't help but shiver as he recall those bird swooping in and striking the demonic rabbit, shredding it to pieces in an instant. To make it worse, these birds even attack the other rabbits on the vicinity.

The rabbits are fast, a lot more faster than he was used to. Though the birds are also terrifying and precise. They easily surround these rabbits and butcher them to shreds.

He didn't want that to happen to him, so he takes note of his mind not to attack these birds. There are many of these birds staying on the vicinity of this building, so he will be killed if he even try to kill one.

He is glad that he didn't try his luck, going down there and hoping for the best. It is truly a bad idea for him.

This doesn't change the fact that he is hungry. He wanted to eat something.

He looks at the window of his room, seeing the leaves of the tree in there. He wanted to experiment something.

But it is a bit out of reach. He have to lean dangerously out of his window if he even wanted to get hold of one of the leaves in it.

He sighs, before rolling to the other side of his bed. He sees the thin futuristic phone lying there. He takes it and opens it.

It didn't have anything special. He have an internet, but his default browser can't access any site on the web. All of the sites he knows are always coming back as nonexistent. Even if he looks at the public domain, there is nothing in there.

Which means, this smartphone is only limited to calls and text. Maybe videos, pictures, and it's flashlight function are useful, but he can only go around this building. He can't even turn those functions useful because nothing is interesting here.

The only thing he did as a pastime other than lying on the bed is just messing with this phone. There is a text editor on this phone, so he uses it a lot now to pass the time.

He is writing his own diary there. What he did, what he is going to do next, everything. Along with that, he is also writing all of his objectives.

(Main Objective)

Find Family

Survive

(Sub Objectives)

Close off all the entrance to this floor

Get a food

Find help somewhere

Find a drone or something

(Other Objectives)

Make more weapons

Make more clothes

Make more furnitures

Make more devices

Other than that, he didn't have anything else.

If he wanted to do more, he have to get more upgrades.

He can only wait for that.

~~o~~

Tomorrow morning, after getting his ten upgrades, he decided to experiment on something.

"I made sure to close everything, so I think it's time to see how much I can upgrade something."

He looks at the Super Oven that he have. He wanted to try something with it.

He currently have 17 upgrades. So he thinks he can upgrade this oven as much as possible.

"If only four or five upgrades can turn things into amazing ones like the sink, how about I upgrade it ten times or something?"

With that decision, he started upgrading the oven.

He stares at the prompt that is slowly vanishing. It is different from the floating panel that appears when he uses his upgrades.

For one, the panel that appears while using his original system seems more illusionary, like something from his imagination. It looks dull, and didn't have anything in it other than it's plain text based design.

The Over Dimensional Oven System's panel looks more futuristic. It looks like a holographic panel, with a bluish dim light in it. It also have it's own shop and points it seems.

".... Holy crap, I can create my own systems!?"

He can only stand there, shocked at this new discovery.

Right. So his upgrades are a true cheat. It can upgrade something to the point it turns into a system.
