Finally, Some Food

After getting over in his shock, he finally decided to move around.

"Say, you can convert anything right?"

["Yes"]

He nods at it's confirmation. "Then, can I convert those debris into points?" He pointed at the debris in this room.

Currently, he goes to the wide room that looks like a meeting room. He wanted to see if this new system can do it.

["That is a simple matter, User"]

"Great. I want to convert all of this debris into points."

["Converting.... complete"]

["You got a total of 1,200 DP"]

"Oh, I only got that much?" He asked in confusion.

["Yes. I only managed to convert that much on those rubble."]

"Well, it's fine." He said. "Now then, I think I should look at the shop then."

He opened the Dimensional Oven Shop, and look at the list of things in there.

His eyes quickly pointed at the vast array of food in it's list. There are even images along with it.

"Food!" He exclaims, his eyes shining in excitement.

He can see some that have a weird naming like the Heavenly Palace's Banquet #1, though he didn't care about that. Also, he can't really afford it, seeing the amount of zeroes in it's price.

He wants something to eat. So it didn't matter if it's the most luxurious one or the cheapest one.

He see a lot of cheap food in it. There are bread, rice balls, chicken wings, pizza, etc. Most of it cost less than 100 DP.

"I want it!"

He quickly buys the Ham & Cheese Pizza (100 DP).

["Purchased Complete"]

After that prompt, a light shines through, forming into a thin square box before it materializes. Then it fell on top of his hands.

He looks at it carefully and see the words written in it.

"ODO Ham & Cheese Pizza huh..." He can take a guess what those ODO meant.

He can smell the fragrant aroma inside the box, and it feels like it is beckoning him to eat it right now.

But he looks around. His eyes alarmed and cautious.

He is still in this meeting room, and while he made sure to upgrade every place in this floor so nothing can get inside, he is still scared that some manner of create manage to sniff the aroma of this food and suddenly decide to find a way to enter this floor and take it. It might even kill him.

He quickly put the pizza back to the Dimensional Storage. Then he grips his energy pistol and super metal pipe tightly as he goes back to his room in a haste.

After getting back to his room, he finally took the time to sit on the floor and take the pizza box.

As he opens the box, the warm aroma of mozzarella cheese and nicely cooked ham wafted on his nose. The abundant amount of toppings on this pizza is honestly mouthwatering. He wanted to take a bite right now.

Though before that, he opens his ODO.

"Hey, can you create anything to drink?"

["Negative. I can only cook warm food, not make some beverages."]

He felt a bit sad but has expected it.

"Right."

He have water on the sink, but he didn't want to use his hand to scoop for some water while eating pizza. That would be very sad.

So he decided to take the scrap of PET bottle he got on one of his harvests and upgrade it.

After that, he goes to the Super Sink in his bathroom and pour it full of water. The water on the tap water is pure and he has been using it for almost two weeks now without getting sick, so he is sure that he can put it on the bottle.

The plastic bottle is large. It's as large as the bottles usually used on soft drinks.

So he have plenty to drink while eating some pizzas.

"... Wait, I have an ice box. Maybe I can have a cold water once in awhile!"

He quickly goes to his ice box and felt the cool air within it. He decided to put his water bottle inside it first and close it before going back to his pizza.

"I'll eat one slice of pizza first before getting back to it. I think it will be cold enough after I am done with the piece."

With that, he giddily took one of the slices.

The slice of ham & cheese piece stretches for bit due to the cheese, and it releases a gentle warm aroma that makes stimulates his nose and stomach.

He took a bite of the slice, and felt the taste of cheese, ham, and ketchup explodes in his taste buds. Maybe because he have anything to eat for almost two weeks now, but the taste is heavenly. The cheese is rich, and so the ham too. The bread is soft and not that hard, it is easy to chew on it. The ketchup is also just the right amount and complements all of it.

He felt like he's on cloud nine. The taste is just that heavenly.

"Pizza. I didn't thought I'll get to eat something like this again!" He felt like some tears coming to his eyes as he took another bite of the slice.

After taking the time to savor it all, he didn't notice that he already finish it all. Without hesitation, he took another slice and take a bite of it.

Then he felt thirsty, which snaps him out of his reverie.

"Ah, crap! I need water!"

While carrying the half bitten slice of pizza, he goes to the ice box and open it. Then he took the plastic bottle inside it.

"Wow! It's already cold!" While being surprised like that, he goes back to where he put the pizza box. Leaving the ice box open.

Then he put the half bitten pizza there before using his hands to open the bottle. After opening, he took a straight gulp on the bottle.

"Puhaah! That hits the spot!"

He turned to the pizza box with his eyes glinting in excitement.

"Ah! I'm stuffed!~"

He patted his stomach, finishing all twelve slices of the large ham & cheese pizza. The water bottle besides him is already empty, having drunk anything in it.

"Brrr.... it's too cold." He said before realizing something. "Ah fuck, I forgot to close it!"

He goes to the ice box and close it. Though the cold air is still lingering on the area.

"Damn! I really need a jacket and pants!"

After that, he looks at the water bottle.

"Well, I think I want to drink something cold again so..."

He goes to the water bottle, take it, go to the sink and fill it water. After that, he goes to the ice box and put the water bottle inside it.

Then he goes back to his bed, sitting on top of it and lied down. He looks at the ceiling above as he thinks about what to do next.

"Hmm... I have another system now. Which means I can create systems by just upgrading things a lot." He mutters.

He sits up, his eyes pointing to the empty pizza box. An idea formed inside him after he glances at it.

"Wait. Maybe that's viable?"

He still have 6 upgrades left, so he decided to experiment once more.

He goes to the pizza box and tries to upgrade it.

Seeing the word infinite, he suddenly stop and look at it with wide eyes. He also seems to hear a surprised gasp from his ODO.

The pizza box is two times more larger than the original box awhile ago. Opening it, he is surprised when there is a large ham & cheese pizza in there.

Also, the box is warm to the touch. Unlike the one awhile ago, this box's warmness isn't decreasing. It is just constantly warm.

"Wow.... don't tell me...?"

He can't believe it. Though he is still unsure.

He would like to try by eating everything, but he just felt full. He can't eat anymore.

"Fine. I'll try that on evening."

He said and close the box. He decided to put the box on ODO's dimensional storage.

["User, can you let me convert it into points?"]

The ODO seems to be excited by the infinite pizza.

"How much will you give me for that?"

["100,000,000,000,000 DP"]

His eyes bulges out, seeing the figure it just stated.

"What!? Are you serious!?"

["I am serious"]

Despite the robotic tone, he can feel how serious it is.

"... Sorry. I wanted that pizza." He said with a sigh.

[".... Understood"]

He don't know why but it felt like he just kicked a puppy. It is the same monotonous robotic tone, but it felt like it was depressed.

'But I can't convert it. That's my unlimited amount of food!' He thought.

Upgrades is pretty hard to come by. Even when he is experimenting, he wanted those experiments to be fruitful. Which means, useful things that he upgraded can't be traded that easily.

It is his lifeline after all.

'If I have a lot of spare upgrades, I might just think about it.' He thought.
