READY FOR SCHOOL

C'mon baby,wake up you're gonna be late for school"...Mrs James said tapping sleepy Alex.

But as Alex wasn't getting up,she whispered to her ear...."Stella's here darling..."

And just then,Alex jumped out of bed and rushed to the bathroom....while her mom just smiled.

"Breakfast is in the dining already, don't stay out too late,I have a busy shift today...so I won't be coming home early tonight..... avoid fights and please darling take care of yourself... momma loves you...Mrs James said to Alex who was already in the shower...

"Alright mom...love you!!!.... Alex replied.

"Quickly get done,so you can lock the doors, don't want any one coming in while you're in the shower now do you"... Mrs James said

"Mom you're funny, Stella is In the living room now isn't she".... Alex who was still in the shower replied.

"Oh ermm yh she is"....Mrs James said as she coughed.

Just then coming from outside their home....."honk honk!!!"

Alex's mom went to check who was there....

"Alex guess who's here!!"...she said yelling towards Alex's bedroom

"Stella just arrived sweetheart!!".... Mrs James said with a smile letting Stella in

"Good morning mom".....Stella said with a big smile.

"Ahhhh,oh my God...she finally called me mom without me telling her too!".....ahhhhh she screamed as she hugged Stella so tight

" Oh ermm Mom"...I can't Breathe .... Stella said choking.

Oh my...sorry dear ...am just so happy ...she said smiling..

" It's fine" ...she's late again huh"...stella said sitting on d couch.

"Well my dear you know your friend...."

" Bby am gone .....in case you didn't hear me I said Stella's just came!!"

"Mom....what the,you said ....ahhhhh just forget it!"she screamed as they hear her slam her door.

"Am sorry Hun ,byeee".....Mrs James said her last goodbye to her daughter. .

"Just go away you deceiver!!"....Alex yelled once again

"Bye Stella".... Mrs James said as she opened the door to leave.

"Bye mom".....Stella said as she smiled and watched Mrs James smiling back then finally leave.

Mrs James was a nurse in a big government hospital,her job sure requires her time but she knows her kid also needs her time,she was the kind of mother to always be there for her child.....

Stella walked to Alex's bedroom

"Knock knock"

"Go away Stella" .... Alex said with frustration heard in her voice

"You know that's my language for come in"..... Stella said as she entered Alex's room,she was already dressed up.

"What do you want".... Alex said putting on her boots

"What do you mean what do I want....we always go to school together... what's up with you grumpy face!"

"Morning to you too"....Alex said with a straight face

"Yo what's up with this cold attitude this morning"....Stella said calmly

"What's up with the insults this morning huh!"....Alex yelled ....as she made her way to the kitchen.

" Hey pretty face come back here am talking to you".... Stella said as she grabbed Alex by the arm.

"Let go!!",Alex yelled trying to free her hand...till Stella loosen her grip.

" Jeez! what's wrong with you this morning".... Stella yelled as it was obvious she was now pissed.

Stella went home early that morning after their sleepover to get her bag and her dad's truck she would use to drive to school.

So she wasn't sure of anything had happened between she and her mom or worse....if Jason left another heart breaking text ....

"Alex talk to me ok?".... Stella said calmly this time around to Alex who was already sitting at the dining...

Just then Alex started to break down in tears....

"Hey hey what's wrong?did Jason say anything to you again"....she asked even worried now as she saw her friend crying.

"No"... Alex said still sobbing

"Then what's the problem"..... Stella asked with a lil relief but worry still in her eyes .....

"Am scared to face him,to face all of them at school!,am sure the news had spread already.... everything about Jason has always been a hot topic...and I'll be a mockery!"...Alex said as the eyes came rolling down her face again...

"Oh darling "....Stella said hugging her friend,as she now understood the reason for the tears,...don't cry,I don't you taking red swollen eyes to school"....

"See ,look at me..... "she said raising up Alex's face...

"It's gonna be A-ok ..... just the way Jason is popular for his looks and all that,am popular for my craziness...ok" ...she said with a lil laugh...

"And no one would dare hurt you or even dare come close to you ok?..... Stella reassured Alex...

"Hahaha".... Alex giggled as she slowly stopped sobbing...

"You're right...no one wants to get a psycho like you pissed off ".....so yh. Safe,she said with a smile

"Eish I'll take that as a compliment to my daring personality....."

"Well c'mon hurry up..... aren't you gonna finish that?"....Stella said pointing to the half eaten sandwich on the table.....

"Ohh I will on the way to school".... Alex replied

"Ok champ!,grab your bag pack let's go the place we pay to get our Brains tortured"....Stella said groaning... immediately the thought of learning got to her head..

"Hahahaha you mean the school right".....Alex said laughing

"I call it a mental torture facility.... Stella said.

"Yh yh, hurry up we're late!.... Alex pushes Stella slightly.

"WOW late,are we?"....Stella said with a fake surprised look....

"I wonder whose fault that is.... definitely not mine"....Stella said as she opened the front door

"We all made mistakes" Alex said with a nervous laugh as she locked the house...

"Hop in MI AMOR" ... said Stella as she opened the passenger sit of the truck for Alex..

OOOOOO Espanol.... fancy.... GRACIAS MI SENORA.....Alex said with a bright smile....

"Gra...mi.... What now??, Stella said as she got into the driver's seat...

"That's thank you my lady" I'm Espanol.... Spanish..

"Ohhh so that's Spanish'.....Stella replied with a laugh...

"Hahaha Stella is there really a day you won't amaze me"....Alex said with a smile...

"Let's find out on our way to school.....I gat big plans for the both of us today, just the two of us.... Stella said with a smile as she started her truck and zoomed off.... leaving Alex with nothing but expectations....
