Chapter - 19 [ #V1.2 : Danmachi : Broken Heart! ]

Ash who already saw her reaction just chuckled which attracted the attention of a lot of people. Although he was hiding his face, his body language and voice was something that changed as well. Though it was same, it became more manly and sweet.

Ignoring the hot and curious gazes he was receiving, Ash suddenly disappeared from everyone's view and appeared outside Orario.

He teleported towards where he found Ais. Standing in front of the tavern, he entered it and suddenly, he was attacked by a group of bandits.

As it wasn't in the plot, he was not expecting them. Even so, he didn't hide or dodge. Instead the sword or knife that touched his body just broke in to pieces.

Shocked by this display, the bandit was about to order something to his subordinates. But Ash just snapped his fingers and they all fell to the ground. He just simply gave an endless dream of pain and sufferings they have caused to others by ten fold. Even if they are about to die, they will be automatically healed both body and mind and their sufferings will continue.

Ignoring the badits who were foaming from their mouth, Ash entered the tavern and saw a lot of children being locked by chains. And finally he saw her.

Long golden-blonde hair, gold eyes, and a slender body, wearing a white clothes that only covered her most intimate parts. Because she wasn't stronger in this world, she couldn't even hope to escape. No. She didn't even have any kind of hope. There was only hate, murderous intent in her eyes which looked like a dead person's.

Ash snapped his fingers and quickly healed all of them and teleported them in front of Orario after removing their memories and healing them perfectly. He also blessed them a little, just enough for them to survive.

As for Ais, even after he healed her and destroyed the chains that were holding her wrists, she looked at him with still the dead eyes. Seeing no hope even after he healed her let her be free, Ash sighed in annoyance.

Then he kneeled on the ground which startled the girl even though she couldn't show any kind of emotions in her eye. But suddenly he did something that made her show a first expression in her life after that horrific incident.

He hugged her and began to pat her back. Her eyes widened in shock. Then her eyes which were holding back everything began to become watery as he whispered in her ears,

"I can only apologise to you for what you have gone through.... You lost, lost and lost. Yet even after that, you are being hurt by everything. I can see that you don't have hope to survive. But you hope to rest for eternity..."

She trembled in his embrace. He continued,

"I don't know what can I do for you. If you want I can make you forget everything and bring you back being a normal girl."

"..."

She didn't say anything.

"If you want, I can help you in any way you want. But, I don't want you to lose your hope. Once I told a certain person something when they said they want to die. I'll repeat that same words to you. If you want to die, I'll heal you till you accept it. If you want to still die then, I'll teach you what it means to be alive. If you don't have a reason to live, then,...."

He looked at her face with a kind face and said,

"Then live for my sake. Live for me. I need you. And nothing will take you away from me."

She stared at him with her still dead eyes. But there was a few drops of tear begining to appear in the corner of her eyes.

"Tell me. What do you want?"

Ais trembled once again and the terrifying memories returned to her head once again. She felt like she was about to explode. But then she felt his warm hug caressing her head and body, slowly calming her down.

He heard her breathing in and out to calm herself down which surprised him. Then she looked at him with clear eyes and asked in a flat tone,

"I want to kill."

Ash knew what she was talking about. So he asked,

"Although I don't know what you want to kill, as long as it is something you want to kill, I will make that wish come true."

Her eyes became a little watery as she asked in her taciturn words,

"Promise?"

He smiled and said,

"I promise. By the way, can you tell me about yourself?"

Ais hesitated for a moment, but seeing his kind and concern filled eyes, she nodded and began to explain her life.

After her explanation was finished, he had to hug her tightly so that she can vent her sadness.

After she was done, he made a dress for her. It was a one piece blue and white dress that matched her hair and body. After she was dressed up properly, Ash said,

"Can I call you Ais?"

She nodded.

"Then it is my turn to introduce myself. I'm called Ash. I'm one of the gods."

Ais took a moment to realise it and asked,

"You are a god? Like the others in Orario?"

He nodded.

"Do you want to get stronger or do you want to simply kill the dragon? If it's the later, then we can go and do it now. But I don't think that's what you wants, right?"

He was correct. When he said they can kill it now, Ais became a little bloodthirsty. But, she quickly calmed down and nodded to his words.

"I want to be strong. I want to kill it with my own hands."

Ash nodded.

"Yes. Then, when we return to Orario, shall I introduce you to some gods so that you can join their familia?"

She tilted her head in confusion and pointed at him,

"Can't you be my god?"

He smiled and said

"Are you fine with that?"

She nodded. In fact she wasn't going to trust anybody else. Those gods didn't even helped her even when she was this near them. And the reason she wasn't angry at him was because he said he arrived in mortal realm just today. So he didn't really know about her or her sufferings. She then remembered his explanation about how he found her and the other children when he was traveling around Orario to enjoy the nature a little.

"Then, I will add you to my familia after we return to Orario. For now, let's go."

'After returning, I should buy some land and a house. She has to take a bath as well. Although I can clean her easily, but as a girl she may have some things to do by herself.'

With that, he and Ais teleported out of there. Sensing her vision suddenly changing, Ais held back her instinct to vomit. Unlike Orna, Flare and Mihawk who wasn't normal humans, the current Ais was very weak compared to her self from anime.

He healed her and pulled her hands which were holding his very tightly. On his way, Ash bought a land with a big mansion for 250 Million Valis. Although the mansion wasn't that big, they still had a very unused space left to modify it.

He left the entrance the same, but he created another big mansion and connected them together with the already existing mansion.

After that, he casually waved his hands and created a hot spring with automatic cleaning, heating, draining and filling function.

"Go take a bath, okay? Here's a towel for you. I'll place some clothes outside the bath."

Ash said and was about to leave when he felt a pull on his sleeves. Turning towards her, he saw an anticipatory expression.

"Bath together?"

"No, Ais. A girl shouldn't show her naked body to anyone other than the most important person in her life. And not just me, you should protect yourself from almost all the men."

She tilted her head and said,

"Let's go together?"

"Listen Ais, I'm a man too even if I am a god. It isn't good to do that."

"But it's Ash.....-sama?"

"No need for sama. Just Ash is fine. And what do you mean it's just me? Argh! Stop looking at me with that innocent puppy eyes! Where did you even learned to do that? Fine! Enter the bath and wait for me."

She nodded with a small smile that made him smile as well, and went inside the bath ahead of him. Ash just smiled. He removed his clothes and began to cover himself with the a towel. He then sighed and went inside the bath.
