"Mother! No!"

A guard held her hair and placed his sword on her neck, blood started flowling down her dress.

"Don't you dare touch her!" Screamed the mother.

The guy smirked. "One or the other."

In a dilemma, the mother tried to take back her daughter, but nothing worked. There was only one option left : give up.

"No! No! Mother come back!"

She gave herself in, the a guards tied up her hands so she couldn't run away. The guy who was holding the kid brusquely let her down : she slumped on the ground.

"Don't take her.I beg you!Don't take her!"The little girl screamed with all her might. "I need my mother!"

"No..It's okay Moon.. No need to worry. Mommy's gonna be back. Just be a good girl and wait for mommy,Ok?" She reassured the little girl.

"But!but!.."

"Stop the bickering.It's time to go!" The commander said, and pulled away the woman.

"No! Mom!"

"Goodbye my little star! Remember what I said to you!Also open the secret box under my bed,there will be a letter.Read it!" The woman said hastily with helpless eyes.

The two guards that held the kid rejoined the others as they were taking the woman.

"Mom!..No!..Mother!" said the child as she fell down. She was now on the cold floor, all alone, with tears dripping, forming a puddle of water.

Once calmed down,she got up.

"Mom,just wait for me.I'm coming to save you! I will also get revenge for you...Father,like it or not, you're going down, no matter what!" She said with determination.

So the 12 year old girl was resolved to put her own father to his doom.

Yet,the next day, the mother was found lifeless.Could she still keep her resolve?

It was the next day. My neighbor,the landlord, came to pay me a visit and tell me the news.

"I don't know how to say this, your mother died..I know this is hard and all.."

I was shocked.Tears were coming out as fast as a waterfall. Why? Why? Wasn't it okay? Didn't she say she wouldn't die?What? She lied?

I took the paper from her hand.It was an article written about her death.

Helpless,I started packing,even without a clear destination.

I remembered what my mother said. I ran up to her room. I opened the door and saw the figure of my mom smiling at me. She also said, "Good morning dear,what shall we eat for breakfast?" like she does every morning when I meet her in her bedroom.

"No,it is not real. She's gone."

Someone so precious was gone overnight, yet someone you detest last forever.

Leaving my emotional thoughts, I went to look under her bed.It was really dusty. A box was found,I grabbed it. It was a small wooden box. It had several ornement,and a design with birds and flowers. There was no keyhole. I dusted off the top and opened the box carefully.

There laid a handmade letter and a jeweled moon hairpin. I read the letter first.
