Section 177: The Perfect Soldiers

Chen is treading closely on the wall as we enter the president's chamber. There's our previous president, lying on the bloody carpeted floor with his innards out and an expression of fear crosses his face. Vanya holds her mouth to avoid puking, Calvin merely passes by the corpse with no pity.

None of them pity the president who's in charge of the project, surely Chen even shows a dissatisfied look toward the president. However, it's strange that Vanya and Calvin don't know about Chen that much. They're in the same facility and it is precisely why at least they should have known each other.

My curiosity gets the best of me, thus I ask the three people behind me while I rummage the president's drawer.

"Don't you guys know Chen?" I ask Calvin and Vanya who are currently focusing on the bookshelves near the entrance.

"Nope," Calvin answers right on the bat.
