Section 134: Her Answer
We're in the kid's bedroom, the bedroom Aria slept on. She set her crimson eyes on my quivered figure.
"So what is it that you want to talk about?" she asked.
"I can't like you," I told her bluntly, to which she suddenly reacted in surprise.
"Excuse me?" she asked me, puzzled.
"Well, Ender came back and I'm sure you would prefer to be with him," I scratched my head. "Aria, have you ever like me?".
Aria didn't answer, she never answered that piece of question. It's the question that always made me feel anxious because I know that she's still in love with Ender. I thought to myself that she never answered because she's still in love with her past boyfriend. She gave me another silent treatment again, this is what I feared.
