Ch-5 : VOICE….!

As Amy lay on the ground, trying to regain her bearings, the familiar voice echoed in her ears. She tried to focus her vision, but everything remained blurry. Her knees and elbows throbbed with pain, and she could barely make out the shapes and sounds around her.

Allen reached her quickly and gently took her into his arms, his heart pounding with worry. "Amy, wake up! Amy, it's me, Allen!" he called out, his voice laced with concern.

The sound of her cousin's voice provided a glimmer of reassurance to Amy. She blinked rapidly, trying to clear her vision and make sense of her surroundings. "Allen?" she managed to whisper, her voice weak and trembling.

"Yes, Amy, I'm here," Allen said, holding her steady as she slowly started to come to her senses. He could see the blood on her knees and elbows, and his worry deepened. "Are you okay? Can you move?"

"I... I think so," Amy replied, struggling to get up with Allen's help. Her legs wobbled, but Allen supported her, making sure she didn't fall again. "I'm so glad you're here," she added, her voice filled with relief.

Allen kept a watchful eye on the surrounding area, ensuring the two men were no longer nearby. He knew they needed to get away from the park as soon as possible. "Let's get you out of here," Allen said, his tone calm but firm.

He guided Amy back to her bicycle and helped her steady herself. She tried to get on the bike, wincing in pain as her injuries made it difficult. Allen steadied the bicycle for her and held onto the handlebars.

"Come on, Amy. Let's go home," Allen said, giving her a reassuring nod.

Amy nodded, gathering her remaining strength. "Okay," she said, leaning on Allen for support.

They slowly made their way out of the park, with Allen helping Amy pedal her bicycle. They moved as quickly as possible, keeping an eye out for any signs of the two men.

As they reached safer streets, Allen kept his phone in hand, ready to call for help if needed. Once they were far enough from the park, they slowed down to a safer pace.

"We'll get you cleaned up and checked out at home," Allen assured her, trying to keep her spirits up. "You did great, Amy. We're almost there."

Amy managed a faint smile, grateful for her cousin's support. "Thank you, Allen," she said, her voice filled with gratitude.

Together, they continued their journey home, leaving the terrifying encounter behind and focusing on getting Amy the care and safety she needed.
