Chapter 3

Its been two months since I met with Olympic coven and Quileute tribe, Although I have a good relationship with the Quileute tribe its not as good as Olympic coven as were were both same species. 

When there was something important that concerns the whole town, the leaders of their respective coven and tribe gather in the neutral area to discuss about it. 

The last time the meeting was held was a month after I came into the town, I also joined them and met all of them to familiarize with the current leaders of Quileute tribe. 

I sat in the balcony of my house reading a book when I heard the sound of a Charlie's vehicle sound and his scent coming from a mile, I also smelled another unfamiliar scent beside him, It must be his daughter as I heard from him that his daughter is coming to stay here with him. 

A few minutes later the car stopped in front of his house, Charlie came down from his car and opened the trunk and took out the luggage and his daughter also helped him.

I shouted loudly and waved at Charlie, he also smiled and waved at me and signaled to talk later. 

I moved my eyes away after seeing them going inside, I concentrated on reading the book of history. 

The evening, I met with Charlie and his daughter Bella Swan, as Charlie is one of the people who still has a good relationship with me after knowing my current identities past and I also had good relation with his ancestors. 

He introduced me to his daughter, She looked restrained with a pale complexion, although it was not as pale as a vampire it was still very pale compared to other humans.

She was surprised when she learned that I was also a student at Forks High, She was even more surprised when she heard that were were both in the same grade.

The next day we both drove to school together, Bella was driving the driving the orange truck that Charlie bought from Billy black, one of the few humans in Quileute tribe, he and Charlie were childhood friends. 

I parked my car and went inside without taking glance at her, I asked her yesterday to keep distance from me in school.

At lunch I sat in a corner fiddling with my phone but I did not fail to notice Edward and Bella staring at each other.

In the biology class, Edward and Bella sat together, I noticed that Edward was very awkward and looked constipated, I know that face, It was the expression of suppressing the extreme urge to drink blood. 

I kept staring at Edward not understanding what was going on, I was worried he will lose control but fortunately the bell rang soon, he stood up and left with out even wasting a second.

I followed him and saw that he was arguing to change his class schedule but that lady at the desk said there were no available classes.

After confirming that he cant change the class, he left muttering something, as a vampire I could hear him saying 'I just have to endure it', Bella who was behind him also heard him and was confused.

After the school was over I drove the car straight to Cullen's home. The Cullen's were in front of the house, I knew it must have been Alice who predicted that I would come so when I walked up to Carlisle he led me inside. 

Inside the house all of us sat down in the living room and I looked around and didn't see Edward, Carlisle said that he went out for hunting. I nodded and asked if he knew about Edward's weird behavior. 

Carlisle looked troubled but said that Bella was singer to Edward. A singer was human with blood which has an irresistible attraction for a certain vampire. I didn't expect that Bella was a singer to Edward. 

Since Edward already smelled Bella's blood, even if he left forks and decided to stay from Bella he can't do it because as time goes by he will be attracted to her more and more and lose control but there is also small possibility of him growing his self control and restrain himself but there is a premise to it, he has to love Bella more than his thirst for her blood.

Carlisle promised me that Edward will definitely not hurt Bella and I also know that the Cullen family has very good self control, even Jasper who was young has good self restraint compared to some old vampires. 

I left the Cullen's villa with frown, I didn't expect that my salted fish life is over just after living in the town for three months. When I was leaving Carlisle asked me to keep an eye on Bella and I told him I will.

Time slipped by quickly as I watched Edward and Bella became closer and closer, one day in winter, I skipped the school to investigate the killings in town which was suspected of bear attacks but in fact that was vampire killings and as the town was my territory and now a vampire was wantonly killing the people in town so I had to find it quickly and solve it. 

That day Bella had an accident at school, fortunately Edward saved her but at cost of almost exposing himself in front of a large number of students.

I stopped going to the school from that day on and dropped out, I wandered all over forks, searching for the intruding vampires. 

But as I was searching for the intruders, Bella and Edward were almost about to start a relationship.

Bella heard the legends about Quileute tribe and their enemy clan from Jacob black and although he said that they were just legends but Bella believed them because she heard from him that the enemy clan was actually Cullen's and that legend was from more than a century ago.

She searched the internet, but didn't find anything but a book of legends in a book store in port angels. As the prom was nearing and her friends wanted to buy a dress she tagged along with them to port angels. 

As Bella was searching for the truth about Edwards, I finally found the vampires responsible for the killing, when I found them they were feeding on the fisherman, unfortunately the person was already dead and as those vampires were just feeding they did not release the venom in the person, otherwise there will be another headache for me to deal with. 

The three vampires were startled, but I didn't give them a change to move, I was impatient as I have been wandering for more than week like a homeless person, I wanted to enjoy my time in forks but now the peace has been disturbed.

I separated their heads before they could react and threw them aside to avoid them healing, I called Charlie and asked him to come over.

In port angels, Bella separated from her friends and went to book store, but on the way back she encountered drunkards who surrounded her but Edward who was stalking her saved her.

The two then met with her friends at a restaurant and when they heard Bella will go back with Edward they teased her a bit and left. 

Edward took Bella inside to eat, Bella asked if he was following her, Edward said that he feels protective of her and he followed her at distance if she need help he could help her. 

He also revealed that he could read minds and couldn't read her mind which he finds peaceful and intriguing.

Here in forks, 

After Charlie arrived at scene and saw a person unconscious, as for the three vampire bodies I burned them and turned them into ashes.

I explained to Charlie that I just wanted to fish, so I came here to rent a boat but found the person lying unconscious with bite wounds and big scratches that were very deep and there was a lot of blood around. 

Soon Charlie called for support, the police soon isolated the whole area and took the body to the station, I was also called to go with them as I was the only witness.

The police suspected that I was the one who killed him given my identities past, but Charlie didn't believe that I did it and after Carlisle came and confirmed that he was killed by a large wild animal. 

I walked out of the station with Carlisle, we encountered Edward and Bella who were driving into town, but after seeing us they stopped the car.

Bella said a few words and went inside to talk with Charlie, I looked at Edward who was looking at Bella with worried eyes and told Carlisle that I solved the vampires and left in my car.

Carlisle breathed a sigh of relief when he heard that the problem was solved and left with Edward. 

Inside the sheriff's office Charlie gave Bella a pepper spray and talked with her for bit and promised to find the animal which did this.

As they were coming out Bella saw the ambulance personal carrying the body covered with sheets, she saw the pale legs, she thought the paleness looked same as Edwards skin and after arriving at home and reading the book she bought, she confirmed him as a vampire.

Next day, she confronted Edward in the woods about his identity as vampire and she believed that he wont hurt him. 

Edward even showed his body in sunlight, he even showed his basic powers in front of her, but she said she didn't care, later he revealed that their family drank animal blood to quench their thirst and they are different from other vampires.

He revealed that her blood was like an irresistible temptation for him but she said she trusted him and when she said she was afraid of losing him, Edward knew he couldn't escape this relationship anymore.
