Chapter 19: Hidden powers part 2

"What the hell is that?" Aliyah asks looking at the man in the middle of it all
People were either captured in vines or flowers
"Oh no...Kenji," Aliyah says to herself
That was what woke up Angela
Angela jumped off of the pole and took it from in between the awning
Angela flew off and tried to remember the directions to where Aliyah was
Angela landed and turned the pole in her hand into her beautiful white bow with blue streaks like her costume
"That was fast- anyway Kenji is being mind controlled by someone called the puppet master," Aliyah says
Kenji turns to look at Angela
"Well, where is the puppet master?" Angela asks
"That's the problem I don't know," Aliyah says
"Okay Aliyah look for the puppet master while I deal with Kenji," Angela orders, and the two move out
"Hey babe like my new look is hot isn't it," Kenji says
"Babe? Um last time I checked I wasn't dating anyone," Angela says and throws a blade at Kenji
That blade was able to cut through multiple vines
"How weak can you be? I guess you better keep trying," Kenji says and winks at her
"Okay leader free anybody who is captured," Angela says to her blade and it does just that
Angela flies and circles around Kenji
"Admiring me aren't you," Kenji says
"The way talk sounds fruity. And I know your not bi," Angela says making Kenji mad
Kenji sends vines at Angela
Angela was able to go in between them as if it was in slow motion
Angela cuts them all in return hitting Kenji
Kenji groans but he looks mad
Angela and Kenji make eye contact
'His eyes are soulless and he has freckles,' Angela thinks
"It's funny how you like to talk the talk but you can't do crap to me," Kenji says
"These things are thick I hope they form back together," Briskess says measuring the vines with her eyes and continuing her search
Briskess finds a puppet and analyzed it
Briskess noticed how Kenji and the puppet had similar features
"Hey, Angela I think I found the puppet master!!" Briskess shouts back to her
"A literal puppet huh," Angela says and Kenji punches her in the gut
"You lucky my stomach is full of fat or else I would've thrown up," Angela says falling backward
Briskess gasps
"ANGELA!!" Briskess shouts at
"Flower boy grabs her," the Puppet master says
Briskess steps back on some vines getting Kenji's attention
Kenji uses the vines to grab onto Briskess
Briskess drops Puppet master and he moves and runs away
"All I need to do is stab this through her leg and she'll be a beautiful flower statue," Kenji says pulling her closer
"What happened to your British accent?" Angela asks distracting Kenji
"I was never British," Kenji says
"Maybe not you Puppet Master but Kenji was," Angela says flying closer to him
Briskess was cutting the vines off as fast as she could
More vines started to shoot up and were going toward Angela
"Get away from me," Kenji says sending the vines toward Angela
"Time for my secret weapon," Briskess and takes all knives together to form
"ELECTRIC DRILL," Briskess says and starts spinning as fast as she could cut every single vine and flower that was there
Briskess cut some poison Ivy that Kenji was using to stand on and he fell
Angela caught him and started hugging
Angela took off her gloves and touched Kenji's neck
Mind sequence
Angela was in his mind and ran as fast as she could to Kenji who was asleep
"I've always liked to play with fire," Angela sings making Kenji wake up
"GET AWAY FROM HIM," the Puppet master says
"Not today bitch," Angela says and kicks the puppet away back out of Kenji
Mind sequence over
Puppet master was on the ground and groaned but Kenji was going to fall from the sky
"What the- Blades make a feathered pillow, "Briskess says and the blades dropped her in the air to push all feathers in a pile for Kenji
Briskess landed by spinning in circles in the air creating a small tornado and securing her fall
Once he lands Angela goes to him and hugs him
"Um, Emily," Kenji says
"Yes Kenji," Angela says
"You can stop hugging me now," Kenji says
"I don't want to," Angela says and Kenji slips out of her grasp
The puppet master tried to sneak away but Aliyah's blades bring him to her
Briskess held the puppet master by his waist tightly
"Now you trapped criminal," Briskess says holding onto him tightly
Angela walks to the puppet master
"Explain to me how can something this tiny cause so much mayhem?" Angela asks
"I always wanted to ask you the same question," The puppet master says and Angela slaps him
"Okay okay calm down I got a kid at school who-" The puppet was interrupted
"YOU GOT A KID!!" The two asks
"Yeah I do but this other kid went rampage at school and trapped my son so I decided to attack the girl's sibling until I realized it want him," The puppet master says
"Wow must be some short-ass kids," Aliyah jokes and Angela shushes her
"Do you know what school she goes to?" Angela asks
"Yeah," Puppet Master says telling them the school
The three had an idea to stop the girl from making things any worse and promised to protect his son
"Police take the puppet away he's the real criminal," Briskess says
"WHAT THE- I LITERALLY JUST HELPED AND YOU'RE ARRESTING ME," Puppet Master yells but Police officers get her up and Briskess takes her blades back
"I swear these criminals are getting crazier and crazier," A cop says
"
"Grab on my arm," Briskess says to Kenji
"Oh god this is gonna make me throw AHHHHH," Kenji yells as Briskess speeds them to the school
Once they arrive there are a bunch of reporters and people there
Hawks and Endeavour were there with their kids
"Hey what the hell is going on," Angela asked
"Somebody said there's a kid in there stuck inside with some monster," Hawks says
"Heroes came into the building but nobody knows how the is closed shut Bakugou is gonna break in now," Endeavour says
"TAKE THIS!!!" Bakugou says exploding the door and the wall
The three enters immediately
The rest of the heroes enter including Aliyah
As they ran inside they heard a loud rawr Inside
It was a giant earth dragon and everyone but Angela and Aliyah were prepared to attack
The earth Dragon turned into a normal human and it was Zuri
"What the- Get out of here," Deku says
"No I can help you get the monster because she's my cousin," Zuri says
"What are you 12 get out and the heroes do their job," Endeavor says
"You get any closer and the monster will kill you. She's a teacher who's already killed a bunch of students who to say she won't kill you all? I can guide you through safely because violence is not the answer," Zuri says and lit small flames in front of her
"If you follow me you will get to see the children and safely get them out," Zuri says
"I for one trust this person I don't know. She obviously goes to this school so why not?" Angela says
"If she's in it I'm with her," Hawks says and everyone else follows her
As Zuri was walking in front for some reason it was like a haunted house
"Um, young child I don't know. Explain what happened here?" Angela asks
"There was some math teacher who was having a breakdown since it was the same day of her daughter's death since she committed suicide on the roof. The math teacher started going crazy and um hurt some students. Jazmine the girl who's in danger as well tried her best to save them but instead caused havoc and brought to life every single ghost inside the school," Zuri explains
The school was dark so Zuri created a tiny fire dragon to light up the way
As they were walking Deku stepped on something
*CRACK*
"What the heck?" Deku says and the fire dragon points its light at what Deku stepped on
It was a little kid's body
Deku screamed in fear
"Oh, great a dead kid's body this ain't Stranger Things. Why the hell am I seeing this?" Briskess asks
"The kid did say the teacher killed some kids except some very graphic stuff then," Angela says and looks at it closer
"DON'T GET CLOSER TO IT THAT'S DISGUSTING!!!" Bakugou shouted
"Shut up I'm analyzing how he died and seems like he died to die stabs wounds, you stepping on his neck, and broken bones so yeah," Angela says getting up
"What do you mean by me stepping on his neck?" Deku asks nervously
"He had a 10 percent chance of surviving but you threw that all away by stepping on his neck and breaking his neck," Angela says and Deku just wanted to pass out right then and there
"Hey don't say that you'll scare the boy," Briskess says
"Relax there's way worse ahead of us so Deku just think of you killing him as something small compared to the body count of this mysterious teacher," Angela says and continues to walk
Zuri looks at Aliyah with the 'what the heck is wrong with her face
"Wait I hear something must be the children," Tokoyami says
"Come on let's go," Dark Shadow says
As they ran they heard whimpers and whines
"Oh my god this is like a haunted house," Alexandra says
Zuri brings them to a room with a bunch of kids who were scared and crying
"Okay kids I want you all to follow Briskess back okay," Angela says and they all follow her
"Don't worry kids it'll be fast," Briskess says and speeds off with them a few at a time
Zuri creates another small fire dragon to shine light
Meanwhile, they were walking with Zuri to Jazmine
"Okay everyone through this door is where she's at," Zuri says but when she opens the door no one is there
"I THOUGHT YOU SAID SHE WAS IN HERE!!!" Bakugou shouts
"I knew we couldn't rely on her," Endeavour says
"I did but she's not-" Zuri was interrupted by a scream
"THERE'S MONSTER IS ON THE ROOF," Someone yells
"Oh no we have to get up there before someone hurts her," Zuri says
Meanwhile on the roof
"Ms.Suzuki I'm sorry about your child but don't do this to me," Jazmine says
"Jazmine you idiot you don't belong here. Your quirk is the reason for this mayhem. Just like my daughter, you will die by falling out of this school because you two aren't so different," Ms.Suzuki says and grabbed her by her neck
"Please Suzuki don't do this to me," Jazmine begged
"I'm sorry Hanako but I can't keep on seeing you like this when you're dead. So I should just let go," Suzuki says and drops Jazmine
Someone flies up and catches Jazmine in the air
Jazmine gasps
"Angela," Jazmine says
Angela was holding her in the air with purple eyes and pitch-black gloves
A door flew open
"HEY MATH TEACHER TAKE THIS," Briskess says and throws a knife into
Suzuki's neck
Suzuki passes out on the roof
Angela lands on the roof and it's Jazmine down
"Heroes? You all came to save me?" Jazmine asks
"Yep and I guess we defeated the teacher," Deku says
"No, not yet," Suzuki says waking up and next thing you know she floats in the air
"Oh my god it's the scarlet Witch love you Elizabeth Olsen," Briskess says like a fan girl
Makes sense why she would say that since Suzuki had on all red and her cosmic energy quirk
"Oh no you like the Asian Scarlet witch my quirk ain't no match," Briskess says
"Nope this is the Asian Eleven from stranger things," Angela says
" Well then I'll attack her," Bakugou says and takes the first hit
"This isn't cosmic energy just telekinesis," Suzuki says and lifts Bakugou then grows him away almost off the roof
"Hey watch it there that's my friend
You just threw," Briskess says and sends three blades in her direction
Suzuki breaks them at the same time Todoroki sends giant ice cycles in her direction sending her off the building
Suzuki flew right back up and threw the ice cycles back at them and Aliyah ducked for cover
Hawks uses his feathers to cut Suzuki's face
Briskess gets up and uses your speed to kick her in the face
Briskess then pushes her into Endeavour where he burned her
Suzuki looks at him with a menacing grin
Suzuki lifts giant boulders from the ground and sends them toward Endeavour
Deku punches the boulders and uses
black whip to grab Suzuki which he successfully does
"Take this," Briskess says and speeds at her but what scared her was the fact she saw in the corner of her eyes Suzuki was able to watch her movement
Briskess tried speeding around her but as if she was moving in normal motion
Suzuki sent boulders at Briskess but she luckily jumped in time
Briskess then kicks hard while in the air and hit her skates on the back of Suzuki's head knocking her out
Black whip went back inside Deku
"Ahhh I think I killed her," Briskess says and Angela went to her
Angela took off her glove and touched her head
" Well, it seems that she's unconscious and Aliyah HOW COULD JUST KNOCK OUT A PERSON AND ACT TOTALLY!!!" Angela shouts at her and that surprises Briskess
" What do you mean? I obviously care about her," Briskess says and then just looks at her hands
"YOUR NOT EVEN LISTENING TO ME!!!" Angela shouts
"Okay okay we got the criminal now calm down," Hawks says to her
"Okay now that's over Jazmine are you like okay and can somehow fix all of this," Zuri says to Jazmine holding her shoulders
"Um I guess so," Zuri says and jumped off the building
The heroes follow and also get off of the building while Angela Carries Suzuki in her arms
"LOOK IT'S THE PRO HEROES?" Somebody yells out in the crowd
"We're the heroes who not only saved most of the kids captured the villain and of course saved the monster," Briskess says with sass
"Wait she's the reason for all of this. She put my child in danger!!" A parent says and starts a riot among them
"EVERYONE LISTEN. I may have done the damage but she's the one who killed some kids in there and held them captive in the school. My family and the heroes saved the kids and me. Right now I could at least fix the school with something that destroyed it," Jazmine says
"HOW DO WE KNOW YOUR NOT JUST GONNA DO MORE DAMAGE," Someone yells
Jazmine got in the middle
"Akane Watanabe please help fix the school," Jazmine pleads and a girl with a ghostly blue form circles here
"You got it Jazzy," Ghost Akane says and goes inside
"Akane's quirk is reverse so she can put things back together.... maybe not everything but something," Jazmine says
Akane went around and started fixing the school of course she couldn't fix everything but as much as she can
Akane came out and the school didn't look that bad
Akane came out of the school and bowed to Jazmine before turning into dust
"Woah so that's what it looks like when somebody finishes their unfinished business," Jazmine says
"Now that's cleared police get her the hell out of here," Angela says
The Police officers cuff Suzuki and then takes out the knife
"Wha-?? Where am I? Hanako are you still there don't leave me?" Suzuki says
"All ghosts stuck inside this school will be free now," Jazmine says
Multiple ghosts start leaving the school and either disappearing into dust or just leave
"Well I must say indeed I had a good reason for inviting you Aliyah what you showed there was dangerous and you need to work on that but you got the job done," Endeavour says to Briskess
"Thanks, Mr. Endeavour well Angela how do you feel?!?" Briskess asks
"Pissed off because you don't care and didn't care if you killed her and you didn't care about defeating that teacher but instead made fun of her cause you were scared," Angela says
"Pfft yeah right like I was scared," Briskess says
"Listen I know you by now but understand this I'll work with you if you work with me. So take your head out of your ass and get the job done correctly," Angela says pretty mad but she pops out her wings and was about to fly
"I always try my best to be the best but nothing seems to be good enough for you- I don't seem to be good enough for you," Briskess says and that actually makes Angela stop and listen
"This man here just gave me a compliment and all your doing is ripping it to shreds. So you know what- fine you can say I'm slacking all you want but again what do you know wasn't even in the top three on the hero rankings now you think you number why don't you look at the chart," Briskess says with a smirk as she looks down at Angela
"Damn Aliyah's crazy for talking back to Angela like that," Dark Shadow says
"Don't get us involved," Tokoyami says
"She's got a mouth," Bakugou says
"Maybe you should stop being so hard on her," Hawks says
"I don't need y'alls opinion and I don't any of y'all's help. I can take of a kid and teach her some respect the black way," Angela says and looks back at Briskess
"You got such a big mouth for such a young age. You act more grown than you really are understand me right now. You dont know half shit I do kid and those are just facts, the reason I was in the top four was that I was smart and knew when to fight without getting severely injured," Angela says
"Hmm, Bronx sounds a lot better now doesn't it," Briskess says crossing her arms.
Angela chuckles
"Oh okay, I see your jokes right now let me tell you what Japan has. Racism, rape, homeless people, attacks, massacres, and of course multiple hun shootings- oh wait a minute I also named stuff that would be found in the Bronx. Aliyah, I'm more grown than you and you better recognize because I'm not a sista I'm your teacher for now." Angela says and people are just looking at her like 'damn'
"Okay yeah," Briskess says and rolls her eyes
"Watch out 'cause you say that to some rando and you'll get killed. You may not be scared now but just wait once you experience death you'll realize everything you have done wrong at that very moment," Angela says and walks past her
"Get killed or watch your mouth," Angela says and flies past her
"I don't think mentors are allowed to say those things," Deku says
"So what that's how you think you can get into people's minds by scaring and wishing death upon them," Aliyah says to Angela loudly then looks behind her
"Well it worked," Briskess says and follows Angela
