Chapter 17: Cosplay Convention

February 8th

Not as cold as it was supposed to I mean sixty degrees is the best it's ever been in Japan

But these young people and Emily looked hot in the cosplay outfits they had on

Evelyn was Evelyn, Victoria was ahri, and Aliyah was Akali they were dressed as K pop idols k/da

Derrick was dressed as Ekko the time manipulator and Jason has dressed as Lucian the purifier also from L.O.L (league of legends)

Emily was dressed as Erika from a show she's known for being in 'Amiss' (Not a real show by the way)

They all arrive at the cosplay convention and Emily stops them

"Okay natural disasters I need you all to remember to act cool and don't go crazy go stupid," Emily says

"Got it," They all say

"Go in," Emily says and they all obey

Emily gives the security guard the tickets and was about to walk in

"Hey wait I know you. You're that Erika Smith chick," The security guard says

"Yeah, that's me," Emily says and recognized her

"Wait you worked as a security guard on the set," Emily says

"Yeah, it's me, Blake." The security guard says

"Well it's nice to be recognized Blake," Emily says and walks inside

"Woah," Emily says becoming mesmerized by how big the place is

"Well now time to find them," Emily says to herself

Emily decided to walk around as she was walking around she saw her friend Kitty Bank

"Kitty? What are you doing here?" Emily asks and Kitty looks up at her

"What do you mean? A few cast members were called to sign autographs here since you didn't answer they replaced you with …Jacob~" Kitty looks over to Jacob who waves over at the two

Kitty Bank is Victoria's cousin hence the name Kitty

"I thought I wasn't that much replaceable," Emily says

"Halle Berry also thought that when she was Storm," Kitty says and Emily walks away

'She only likes that cause Jacob has a crush on me and she likes him,' Emily thinks

Emily was walking over when she saw some heroes talking with other heroes

"Wait a minute….heroes? What hell are they doing here?" Emily asks

"Hey, Emily!!" Mirko says and Emily turns around quick

"Hey, Rumi- or should I call you Mirko? What are you doing here?" Emily jokes

"Well, Emily, or should I call you Erika? We're here because a certain amount of heroes were invited to get asked a few questions," Mirko says

"Really like who?" Emily asked

"Have you been living under a rock me, Endeavour, Hawks, Angela, Mt lady, and Edgeshot," Mirko says

"Wait Angela is supposed to be here?" Emily asks

"I know she's such an attention whore probably only here for the attention or more ratings," Mirko says

"What? You really believe she would only come here just for ratings?" Emily asks

"Yeah, or she's out there spreading the word that she's a virgin which I totally think it's a lie. She not so innocent and I'm glad I have someone who agrees with me," Mirko says but she didn't notice that Emily was gone already

"Okay, the amount of disrespect I'm getting is incredible. If one more person keeps on talking shit about me I'm gonna explode," Emily says

Emily then bumps into someone

"Miles morales what are you doing here?" Emily asks

"Actually love the names Kenji," Kenji says taking off his mask

Emily was blushing just by hearing his accent and Kenji noticed this

"Oh sorry Emi you know I didn't mean love in that way of course," Kenji says sounding American

"Kenji why do you always hide your British accent from me?" Emily asks

"Because well you tend to dump over British guys especially if their black so I thought hiding from you makes it easier since we're friends," Kenji says

"Oh yeah totally but even when we were dating you tend to hide it from me," Emily says

"Well not as much," Kenji says

The two pretty much stared at each other

"Hello there lovers should I call you that with the way you two are staring at each other," Eliza says

"Don't jinx it plus you know that Emily would never break the girl code," Kana says giving Emily death stares

"Of course not plus I don't like him," Emily says

"Oh you like big bird over there," Ken says walking over to them

Kana was dressed as Millie ( from Helluva Boss) while Eliza was dressed as Dementia ( from Villainous)

Ken was dressed as Alastor the radio demon ( from Hazbin Hotel)

"Oh great your Alastor it would make more sense for it to be since he can actually sing," Emily says pointing at Kenji

"No I can't," Kenji says

"In reality, you just won't," Emily says

"Whatever now that we're all here together let me explain the mission," Kana says

"We should all know why we're here," Emily says

"I don't," Ken says

"I don't either," Eliza says making Kana sigh

"We're here to kill the host of the convention," Kana explains

"Who's the host of the convention?" Emily asks

"Her Miley Sheen the one dressed as Ms.Heed," Kana says

"Oh her I saw her flirting with Hawks like exactly a minute ago," Eliza says and everyone looks at Emily except Eliza

"Okay, how are we gonna kill her gun style or physical?" Emily asks

"Well ain't that surprising you usually ask why but you're into it," Kana jokes

"Yeah cause she's jealous," Kenji says

"I miss mom," Eliza says looking down at the floor

"I'm not jealous," Emily says looking over at her

Miley starts creating small galaxy with her hands making Emily look sad

"Maybe I do want to know why we're killing her," Emily says

"Well not only has she multiple times stolen credit for kills we've accomplished but she robbed Elliott like two years ago," Kana explains

"That was her she stole the choker that mom gave to me," Eliza says

"There we have we have it let's kill her now," Emily says putting her hands on her fist and walking toward her

Kenji stops her

"Woah there buddy we need a plan," Kenji says

"Yeah and I know what to do," Kana says and then explains her plan they all scatter

Emily first walks up to Hawks and Miley

Emily then puts her arm around Hawks and looks at him seductively

'Time to go Erika Style,' Emily thinks

"Hey, Ms.Heed hey handsome who are you~?" Emily says then winks at him

Hawks decided to play along

Hawks took her arm off his shoulder

"Well you must be new around here my name is Hawks and I'm the number two hero but my number could also be in your contacts," Hawks says winking right back at her

'Is this guy stupid or is he just an idiot?' Emily thinks

Emily starts moving up to his arm

"A hot guy finally wanting my number and the fact that this one is single is perfect~," Emily says trying to sound like her character Erika

"You know your flirting game sounds better in 'Amiss' than in real life," Miley says

Hawks chuckled at that

"Of course it is- I mean well I wanted to test if he's even worth it and totally would go ride your horse," Emily says, and that makes Miley laugh even more

"Emily, what the hell are you saying?" Kana asks

Miley starts taking out her phone but Emily didn't notice

"Well Hawks the name is Emily but I wouldn't mind you calling me Erika for this moment," Emily says sliding her hand from his arm to his chest

Hawks then holds her hand

"Well Erika I have to go thanks for the jokes," Hawks says before giving her his number

Emily's reaction was so just hilarious and Miley loved it too

"Sorry Emily maybe next time learn how to flirt better," Miley says rubbing her shoulder

"Listen to that girl because your flirting game is on crack now," Kana says

"Just shut up I have her distracted now where do you want her to go," Emily says

"Well just play along for now," Kana says

"Oh my god you can't come but who can replace you I don't know any other singer," Miley says then hangs up her phone

"What the.." Emily says

"You're welcome," Kana says

Miley then grabs Emily's shoulder

"Emily you sang the intro to your show right," Miley says

"How do you know that?" Emily asks

"Well, I need a signer since mine can't come. Please replace her. PLEASE!!!" Miley begs

"Say yes," Kana demands

"Uh yeah," Emily says hesitantly

"Great you will perform two songs by imagine dragons one is believed and the second is bones," Miley says pushing her on stage with the other band members

"Okay, when will I sing the song?"Emily asks

"In a few minutes," Miley says

"What?" Emily says and Kana starts laughing

"Well the plan was so far perfect we just need to kidnap her and success," Kana says

"Wait I have two questions one what was my flirting skills for and second I thought we were gonna kill her," Emily whispers into her microphone

"What skills- I-I mean that was only for my entertainment second Kana so badly wants to know why she stole the necklace so we'll kidnap then kill," Kana says

"What if it goes sideways?" Emily asks

"My plan has never failed before so it's not gonna happen again," Kana says then the mic stops

'Okay so I just got bamboozled so what cause I'm about to end this woman's whole career in a minute,' Emily says

"Hello hello hello all welcome to Matsuba's most famous Cosplay Convention. I'm your host Miley Sheen and let's start off with a little performance by our band and Emily," Miley says and the band starts playing bones

"Oh we're doing that okay," Emily says then starts singing

Meanwhile,

Aliyah was filming a TikTok with Evelyn

"Taste the Pink Venom taste that Pink Venom get 'em get 'em get 'em," Aliyah says dancing

Evelyn then stops dancing and starts looking around like a lost dog

"Evee why did you stop this took years just to even get to this point," Aliyah says

"Listen don't that voice sound familiar," Evelyn says and Aliyah listens

"I-I-I got, yeah, you know where I'm losing all control cause their magic in my bones," Someone sings

"Yeah that sounds like Emily's voice but she would never sing," Aliyah says

Aliyah takes her phone and the two walk closer to a small tv screen where you can see the performance

"Playing with a stick of dynamite

There was never gray in black and white. There was never wrong 'til there was right." Emily sings

"What the? Emily is singing who would've expected that," Aliyah says smiling

"Hey, girls did you see… oh Nevermind you're watching it right now. Anyways they're about to announce the winners," Victoria says

"Let's go," Aliyah says and the three moves fast

They all make it to the announcers and found out that they won the group contest

"Yay I won the contest," Victoria says holding her trophy up in the air

"Okay but we also won the group contest," Evelyn says

"Thank Victoria's genes," Aliyah says making Victoria chuckle

The three were walking when Aliyah recognized someone in a Kai'sa t-shirt

"Am I seeing things?" Aliyah asks herself

While Victoria and Evelyn looked at her like she was crazy Aliyah walked up to the person

"Hey Aliyah where are you going?" Evelyn asks but Aliyah was curious

Aliyah could feel hear her heart beating

Aliyah was right behind the person but then they turned around

Aliyah was speechless when she saw her

"Avery?" Aliyah asks

Avery looks at Aliyah and was surprised herself

"Nope," Avery says and starts walking in the other direction until she heard yelling

Security guards and police officers were surrounding the situation

Everyone moves over towards the yelling and sees Emily, Kana, Eliza, and Ken not only in handcuffs but Miley yelling at them

"Miley shut up and listen we weren't trying to kidnap you just not me," Emily says.

"E we are in this together and the truth was no I wasn't trying to kidnap you," Eliza says

"Kenji where are you?" Kana whispers into her mic

"I'm up high she's moving way too much so I can't shoot," Kenji says

"No back down before we get arrested," Kana whispers

Emily gets out of her handcuffs

"Listen all I have a license," Emily says

Miley looks in disbelief

"A license that allows you to kidnap me," Miley says

"Ken here is an undercover cop he told me that not only are you a killer but a robber as well," Emily says

"I AM NOT A KILLER OR ROBBER," Miley yelled and heroes were approaching the situation

"How did you get out of the cuffs?" Eliza asks

"Domino is it?" Emily says

"No, it is not," Eliza responds

"was robbed by this lady am I right?" Emily says pointing at Eliza

"Yes but I only thought it was her because she was cosplaying as Ms. Heed," Eliza says

"As Domino would say you are not just a robber and a killer you are the cosplaying thief who slept with her father for the money you used to get followers on TikTok," Emily says

Miley was actually taken aback by her words

"Hey, Hawks do you know what's going on?" Mirko asks him

"I have no idea but this seems interesting," Hawks says

"She never slept with my dad I would know because he's loud," Eliza says

"Yeah who would sleep with Elliott he's in his what 70's," Miley says

"No one ever said it was Elliott. How do you know his name?" Emily asks

"True you two never met each other than how do you know his name?" Eliza asks

"Well Domino-" Emily was interrupted

"It's not Domino," Eliza says

"Domino are you sure your father not at all had any relations with her," Emily says but then looks at Avery

"I can actually for sure tell you that she is guilty," Avery says jumping into the situation

"Enough Ken I'm disappointed in you for getting involved in this stupidity one of you will be getting arrested because we will have a case here whether you like it or not. Now who are you and how could you help," An annoyed police officer says

"I am her mother and I can vouch for her by saying that chick ain't innocent," Avery says

"Why are Emily's family members so tall?" Mirko says

"Not their fault if your short," Hawks jokes

"Police officer you can arrest and put me in jail for a century because I'm not listening to her," Emily says

"I'm actually tryna help you," Avery says

"Avery I'm sorry to inform you but you can't suck your way out of the situation," Emily says and Avery is pretty pissed off

"THIS BITCH SLEPT WITH ELLIOT WHILE DOMINO WAS IN AMERICA," Avery yells

"I did travel to America but I only told Emily, and Kana about it How do you know?" Eliza asks

Avery sighs

"When I landed here in Japan I saw Domino walking in the opposite direction. Later in the day, I took video and photos of her sleeping with Domino's dad," Avery says looking away embarrassingly

The fact that they were all quite says a lot

"And then you ask why I call you a whore," Emily says

"That doesn't show proof of her actually robbing," The police officer says

"That actually can Domino what was the color of the necklace your mother gave you?" Emily asks

"For the last time, it wasn't a necklace it was a golden-like choker that was a replica of what my mom had," Domino says

"Where are you going with this I have places to go?" Miley asks

"Earlier I noticed how you were sad when looking at Miley why was that?" Emily asks

"Well because when I looked at Miley it reminded me of my mom," Eliza says

"Because the choker is what reminded her of her mother. The same one Miley has on now," Emily says pointing at Miley's neck

"Excuse you Ms. Lawyer but I always had this necklace on plus it goes with my costume," Miley says

"I have Domino's phone right here and the picture of her and her mom together what do you notice?" Emily asks

"What the? How did you get my phone?" Eliza asks

"Well that is the same choker as the one her mother has on," The police Officer says

"Again this goes with my costume what proof do you have that I stole it," Miley asks

"Well look at the back," Emily says and Miley takes off the choker

On the back, it had the word D

"D so what?" Miley asks

"Domino starts with a D," Emily says

"And mom's name is Danelle," Eliza says

"Case close she not only sleeps with men for the money but also kills them if she can't for some reason leave them," Emily says

"Take the damn necklace and leave me alone. Trevor can we please talk about this," Miley says trying to hypnotize him

Emily takes the choker from her and gives it to Eliza

Miley's eyes turn galaxy-like color

"Not only are you going to jail but you have just lost a boyfriend," The police Officer says handcuffing her

"But you said you loved me," Miley says acting like a child

"Maybe you hypnotized me but you never loved me only my money," Trevor says and takes her away

Other police Officers take the handcuffs off of the three hands

Seems everything has gone back to normal but everything is nothing but normal

The tension between Emily and Avery was visible and Aliyah was in between this still shocked after everything that happened

"Well looks like the plan worked you obviously needed me for it to work-" Avery says smirking But Emily wasn't having it

"Avery, why are you here?" Emily asks not even looking in her direction

"What do you mean can't I just visit family?" Avery says

"Ha. Family? Mother? Last time I checked you're the one that left us even your own child for dead," Emily says

"Like I said it was an accident," Avery says

Emily turns around and faces her

"Accident? Okay so basically everything in your life was an accident. Marrying Brayton, becoming a 'scientist', running away, even your kids," Emily says sarcastically

Avery was turned serious

"Fine you wanna know the truth then I'll tell you. Getting pregnant with you, Aliyah, and Zuri was my biggest mistake. Meeting you here was a coincidence cause I definitely didn't want to talk to you. Not savin Zuri in time made me realize that no matter what I'm still gonna be alone between you and ya sista coming after me like this," Avery says

"What a minute why is my name in your mouth because last time checked when you saw you said 'nope'," Aliyah says

Avery turns into her fire dragon

"SHUT UP," Avery yells at Aliyah

Avery had fiery wings pop out of her back which was something that hasn't happened in a long time

"Avery you did to yourself because you were not only Shitty mom but expected everything to go your way and when it don't you act like a child," Emily says

"Huh really? Cause that reminds me of someone." Avery says

"Can't blame me not my fault that you didn't raise me but instead I raised myself, Aliyah, and Zuri," Emily says

Avery would've set Emily on fire right then and there but then she saw Endeavour coming this way and froze

Avery turns off her flames and turns into an air dragon

"Huh look at you know so tough but yet so weak," Emily says then laughs to herself

"Avery," Someone says

Emily turns to them and was also surprised

"Wow y'all are so crazy that you even got the number heroes' attention," Aliyah jokes

Emily and Avery screamed then ran away

"Avery Emily wait," Endeavour says but of course it was too late

I don't know why these people are always late to the situation but this ain't my story it's theirs

Anyways Aliyah just sighs and looks at Endeavour in a mix between shame and disappointment

"I'm surprised you would even think this wouldn't happen shame on you," Aliyah says

"Who are you?" Endeavour asks

"WHAT!!!! I AM LITERALLY THE PERSON YOU SENT THE LETTER TO PLUS IM A STAR," Aliyah shouts

"Oh sorry, I just forgot. Do you happen to be Avery's daughter?" Endeavour asks

"Yes but you have to admit you've seen me somewhere," Aliyah says

"No," Endeavour says and Aliyah has just fainted

Let's just say after that Aliyah never came back to the convention or Emily

You'd think everything would go back to normal then but of course

But don't worry nothin bad until she came back U.A

Aliyah was walking inside

"Hello all I'm back," Aliyah says but of course right there in the common rooms is somebody she has hoped wouldn't be there

"What are you wearing?" Aizawa asks and when Denki saw her he started laughing

"Naw I have to get a picture of this," Denki says

"Listen I went to a convention and be glad that I chose something like this even tho I'm not that kind of girl," Aliyah says

"I said you can go out but you left in a different outfit," Aizawa says

"This is called style and again I went to a convention I changed at my sistas place," Aliyah says and lets Aliyah go

"There's really nothing wrong with an Akali outfit it's never been as inappropriate as Evelyn or Ahri," Alexandra says

"Exactly why I picked the outfit," Aliyah says
